Beliggende på den eksklusive Kohala-kyst på Big Island, er Kolea på Waikoloa Beach Resort et splinternyt gated condo-samfund; det er det mest luksuriøse condo-samfund i Waikoloa Beach Resort og den eneste udvikling med direkte adgang til stranden.

Lejligheden ligger kun to minutters gang til Anaeho’omalu-bugten, hvor vandsport venter på dig: snorkling, sejlads, windsurfing, kite boarding, bådture med glasbund, krydstogter i solnedgangen og selvfølgelig svømning! A-Bay, som det er kendt af dem af os, der er tunge, er en fantastisk strand til familiens sjov og kan ikke slås for de mange forskellige aktiviteter, der er tilgængelige og for nemheds skyld.

Uanset hvad får du en eksplosion, der kører langs motorvej 250. Tag et kørsel op til Waimea og skær derefter motorvej 250 til Hawi. Du er over skyerne og ser ned på Stillehavet. Medbring en sweater, fordi højden gør det til en helt anden oplevelse end hvad du ville forvente på Hawaii. Tænk Schweiz med sandstrande og vulkansk klippe!

Har du en ekstra dag eller to? Du kan ikke gå glip af Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! Hvis du kan svinge det, skal du overnatte i lodgen i Volcano House med udsigt over krateret! Stedet er så fantastisk, at du virkelig ikke kan dække det på en dag, hvis du vil gå på vandreture i parken. På vej hjem vil du stoppe ved vandfaldene undervejs. Eller South Point. Eller de sorte sandstrande. Udsigten er spektakulær hele vejen!

Kolea ligger mellem Marriott Waikoloa Beach Hotel og Hilton Waikoloa Hotel og i nærheden af Kings Shops og nyåbnede Queens Shops. Der serveres god mad og shopping. Gratis underholdning og familieaktiviteter, såsom ukulele-konkurrencer og hula-lektioner, er en næsten daglig funktion i Kings butikker: Sørg for at hente en kalender ved ankomsten. Family vacation win!

We stayed here for a family vacation and stayed 5 nights. Super comfortable and lots of great amenities. The property is beautiful and has access to a great beach and nearby restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back!

Great location for families

The condo itself is very nice and clean. The location is awesome for families—it’s a very short walk to the pool and to the beach. We had two toddlers and an infant and it had the basics we needed for them (pack n play, high chair, beach toys, etc). The showers in the condo have awesome water pressure, the outdoor barbecue was wonderful to have, and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay

Great Stay at Kolea

Bob ( owner) was very responsive and the property was in great condition. The unit has every cooking utensil you need and has plenty of beach equipment. Kolea is in a great location and a short walk to both the Hilton & Marriot properties and also the local King & Queens market. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay on the big island and perfect location!

What a great way to experience our first trip to the big island! This condo is in the perfect location for a family of all ages. We walked to the grocery store and lots of shopping and restaurants at King’s and Queens. The unit is right across the street from the pool and beach that has rentals for snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayak’s. It’s on the dry side of the island which we all liked. The owner was always immediately responsive with any questions. The unit itself was very clean and perfect for our family of five. I would absolutely stay there again!

Absolutely Fantastic

This was our second stay at this property -- and it was even better than we remembered. Clean, spacious, quiet, well apportioned, with everything you want for your stay and all the beach gear you can imagine. The Big Island is truly amazing, with such great things to offer, but whats best is just to get up in the morning and wander around the bay, watching turtles, and to sit in the hot tub at night, admiring the spectacular sunsets. Of course, unless you are at the delicious Lava Lava Beach club, a short walk away. Aloha, and Mahalo Robert for such a wonderful stay at your place.

Attractive, comfortable home in a great community!

We've had two wonderful, relaxing stays here at 11A! Robert is helpful and very easy to communicate with. The condo (including outdoor eating area) is clean and nicely furnished with "real" furniture. My family felt very much at home! The garage cupboard has everything we needed for the beach and snorkeling. The Kolea property is attractively landscaped, has a beautiful pool and direct access to the beach. Easy to get to groceries and restaurants. We like to go out exploring, but really, you could just stay here and have an amazing time.

Wonderful on Big Island

We have been to the Big Island almost 20 times and it never disappoints! This was our first time at Kolea and we really enjoyed it. The complex is very nice and the pool/spa overlooking A-Bay is very special, and the short walk to A-Bay and the Kings and Queens shops is great. Very central to everything. The condo was also really nice - very comfortable for our family of 4 plus in-laws (6 total). There is a large lanai with a table and chairs for 6, with grill, etc. Communication with the owner Robert was also wonderful, and we even borrowed his golf clubs and took advantage of his membership at the golf club to get big golf discounts. We will definitely be back!

Best condo complex on Big Island, fantastic corner unit

My husband and I have traveled extensively, so when we travel for pleasure, we put a lot of thought and research into the trips, especially accomodations. This was hands down our best trip ever to Hawaii, mainly because of the condo. Corner unit, close to beach club, walk to serene beach, walk to shopping, ground floor so kids can run around outside, big, clean, all amenities, quiet, best location on the Big Island. Boogie boards etc. you can use. The shower alone is the size of our entire bathroom at home! But what really makes the difference is the owner, how considerate and welcoming he is. Can't wait to return.

Truly a Slice of Paradise!

This unit is a perfect place in the center of Waikoloa Beach Resort! The owner obviously takes pride in his property, and was easily contacted to answer questions or rectify any issues. As a young family with a baby and a toddler, we spent more time than most visitors in the unit, and were happily content. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen tools and cookware, the furnishings beautiful and unique, and there were even extra diapers along with the playpen and highchair! Unexpected, but extremely thoughtful. We were in the condo for 3 weeks, and would recommend this unit for an extended stay as we were in want of nothing additional. The Kolea pool and beach access are a stone's throw from the unit, and perfect for families who require multiple trips to and from the unit during the day. Also, the amenities available in Waikoloa Beach Resort are walking distance from Kolea condos such that you don't need to rent car for a short trip. Shopping, Dining, Tours, Golf, A' Bay- all a short jaunt away from this private, yet accessible condo. It was a great Hawaiian experience!

This was a beautiful property super close to the beach! Our family of seven adults and one infant thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was responsive to request and provided beach equipment and had cribs and high chairs for the baby. The home was clean. We also appreciated how the clubhouse for the complex was on the beach. It allows us to play on the sand and then come back, rinse off and jump in the pool. Another feature was that we were super close to the King and Queen‘s markets along with many restaurants and shopping opportunities.

Best beach condo for family

We had a great stay at this condo. We enjoyed the beach access and the pool. We were able to walk to dinner. We drove around the island and were glad to have an access to a cooler in the condo. We will definitely stay again!

Great condo very close to pool & beach

We were looking for a place with easy access to pool and beach for our toddler and this was excellent! Could walk everywhere; market a short drive away. Lavalava Beach Club was a great dinner an easy walk down the beach. The condo was well stocked, including with kid things like high chair and beach toys. Would recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful Property Amazing Location

We had an excellent stay. The condo was perfect for the two families that shared it. Plenty of space, lots of amenities, very comfortable furniture including the beds, very nice lanai with a great BBQ. This location was as close as you can get to the pool and the beach without paying the outrages rates to be right on the beach. It's literally a 2 minute walk to the pool and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It's also a 5 minute walk to the shopping centers near by. I would highly recommend this property and it's owner who was extremely prompt on answering our questions. We will definitley be back!

I am an executive working in Japan. I have lived in Japan on and off for about 20 years. I like to collect Asian Art and hence the villa in Kolea is decorated with some of my favorite pieces. Here is me after I hit a hole in one in Kofu Japan!

We decided to buy in Kolea because it is a great family location. Its very secluded and yet walking distance to the Kings Shops and the Queen's Market. It boasts the only beach access in Waikoloa Beach Resort and the construction of the villa's is exquisite. I am sure your family will love our place as we do.

The list of perks is really amazing. Basically its my second home when I am not in Tokyo so its outfitted with all the amenities you would want on a visit. I try to make it so that when you arrive you dont have to do anything. You just start vacationing. I am also a member at the Kings Golf Course and if you book the golf package you get a great rate of only $50 per round!
