Come stay in a beautifully remodeled home located near the historic downtown of Grass Valley. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee across the street or take a nice stroll into town to experience the home town shops.

This house comes with all the amenities you need to feel at home. Cook in a brand new kitchen and enjoy a sweet beverage on the deck. This charming house is filled with new memories, but maintains its old charm!
The space
The downstairs has a beautiful master bedroom suite and a large open concept living space and kitchen. If additional guests need to stay they can use the upstairs with two beds and 1 full bath.
Guest access
Feel free to use any of the kitchen amenities. Coffee is provided with the coffee maker. Everything is up to date and ready to use! There is Dish Network with the TV which has access to a wide variety of channels.

Nice house

Could use some updating but it was nice house. Good Location and plenty of parking if you need it. Only thing is the stairs were very steep. Probably not idea for anyone elderly.

Graduation

We came to Grass Valley because both granddaughters were graduating from college. We needed a place for all of us to gather and share a meal. This location was perfect. We were able to walk most places and enjoy good restaurants. Would use this location again.

This home was dirty. We book 2 people for 4 nights. The inside of the microwave was disgusting, the refrigerator had a stinky smell, and the floor was sticky, I wanted to clean out the microwave so I could use it, but there was only one half sheet of paper towel left on the roll and no others to be found. I couldn't find a mug for my tea, till I looked inside the dishwasher but honestly I couldn't tell if the dishes were clean or dirty. Yes we could have gone to the store and bought our own things, but we had just traveled for over 14 hours and it was after midnight when we got to the house, and yes we did expect to walk into a clean house with amenities such as paper towels, clean bath towels and clean mugs and microwaves Ok, time to take a shower, I could only find a total of 2 clean towels, I booked the house for 2 people 4 nights, we needed more than 2 bath towels, however there were dirty towels hanging on the towel racks, when I contacted the host to let them know we needed more towels they dropped off two more bath towels, (they left them outside on the dirty patio table). So now I think I have to wash some towels for the rest of our stay, so I open the washer to put a load in and there is a horrible odor, the washer was already filled with wet sheets and towels. We definitely will not ever stay at this house again. Would like to know why so much money is charged for a cleaning fee, yet don't get a clean anything.

Property Manager Nice But Property Is Not

I really thought this was a beautiful house at first glance...seeing is believing unfortunately. The property manager was good at communicating for the check in code...just the house was not clean at all which is interesting because I couldn’t check in earlier due to “extra cleaning” during covid. Hair on the floor, bathrooms disgusting...we bought our own pots and pans to cook dinner on because the grease and grime was so built up. To be honest it looked like someone paid their nephew or niece to come do a quick pass of “cleaning”. The property is advertised as air conditioned...that is only the first floor... Would I stay here again...no. I could have paid the same or less and stayed at the gold miners inn which is a nice hotel in Grass valley. I wish I could get a refund because it wasn’t at all what I had hoped for our trip.

Perfect place !

We stayed here for a 3 day girls trip and it was perfect. The house is in a great location... close to everything. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a great cafe right across the street and a bowling alley. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back ♡ The owners were quick to respond to all of our messages and very kind. ♡
