  • Perfect stay for my girls and I

"My two girls and I stayed in the Chalet both during the summer and in the winter. In the summer we had an absolute blast. The house is centrally located close to town, easy to get to the grocery store, an awesome coffee shop down the street as well as simple access to a bike/running path. As an endurance athlete, I was able to do long runs and rides around the lake right from the house, as well as ride bikes with the kids to and from breakfast, town, beach and Squaw! In addition, we were able to take the dog to the river every morning and evening for some activity which made for a happy dog! The accommodations are comfortable and the house is stocked with whatever you may need to cook or bake. In the winter, it was an easy drive to Alpine or Squaw and a cozy place to come back to at the end of the day! Kids were able to play in the snow in the yard and come in for hot cocoa. The owners are very responsible and responsive, I would go back again and again!"

  • Excellent Granibaken Unit

"We enjoyed staying at Caitlin's Granibaken condo. The place is clean and spacious since it's two stories. We swam in the pool and the sauna looked great although we didn't have time to use it. We appreciated that we could rent the place as a 2 bedroom which was perfect for my husband and me along with our two children. We appreciated that there was coffee provided and also shampoo/conditioner/lotion. We didn't cook during our stay, but did notice the kitchen had a list in a cupboard which I thought was a nice way to see what's there. I also like the sturdy plates and bowls. The beds were nicely made and comfortable. And we were impressed that there are TV's in the bedrooms. In the morning, we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the outside deck. We signed our children up for the Tahoe Treetop Flying Squirrels Course (zip line and tree top bridges) before we left on the trip, and were pleased to see that the Adventure Park is right by Caitlin's unit (within 100 yards or so). We highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again."

  • Comfortable Home with Lots of Room

"We rented the home at Dollar Point over a long weekend. The location was very convenient to get to Tahoe City and Squaw Valley. The home was very comfortable, well stocked, and cozy. Everything was generally well kept, but could use a deep cleaning where upper shelves/light fixtures were missed and visibly dusty/cobwebby. And although I totally understand that the home is in a wooden area and bugs are a given, the front porch was quite covered in spider webs. Some of the linens, fixtures, could use updating, as well as maybe some touch up paint here and there. The space is great and all 8 of us could spread out comfortably. Definitely would rent again. Property management was very nice and accommodating."

  • Loving family time in Tahoe

"We look forward to our time in Tahoe with much pleasure. Finding this house is just the icing on the cake! The owners are very accommodating and are always reachable, if you have any questions. There's plenty of room for my grown children, their spouses, the grandchildren, my son's sweet dog, and us. The house has everything for cooking inside and on the grill outside, and the bedrooms are perfect. The hot tub on the back deck is great, and the huge yard is wonderful for playing games, running around, and just sitting quietly, enjoying the peacefulness. The pool and tennis courts are right next door, and there is even a private, sandy beach with chairs and umbrellas. Bike trails are very close by, and Tahoe City is a less that five minutes away. We can't imagine a better place to spend time together during the summer. We highly recommend this house!"
