  • Comfortable Home with Lots of Room

"We rented the home at Dollar Point over a long weekend. The location was very convenient to get to Tahoe City and Squaw Valley. The home was very comfortable, well stocked, and cozy. Everything was generally well kept, but could use a deep cleaning where upper shelves/light fixtures were missed and visibly dusty/cobwebby. And although I totally understand that the home is in a wooden area and bugs are a given, the front porch was quite covered in spider webs. Some of the linens, fixtures, could use updating, as well as maybe some touch up paint here and there. The space is great and all 8 of us could spread out comfortably. Definitely would rent again. Property management was very nice and accommodating."

  • Quaint cabin in the woods

"We had a great stay at the "sweet dreams" property this week. The house is so well maintained, clean and decorated, definitely above average to what we are used to going through VRBO at that price point. Location was great for what we were looking for, a short walk from Tahoe City, Rosie's and the lake, and an easy drive to a lot of hiking trails. The rooms are nice and cozy, bedding is very comfortable, and everything is top quality (e.g. towels... sometimes considered a detail... but actually make a difference when of good quality!). The only small downside is how dark the main room gets during the day; windows are tiny and house nested in the woods with not much sun exposure. Loved the game room!"

  • Great Location

"We loved our stay at this house. There were 4 adults, 2 children under 2 and 1 old dog. It was super close to get to Tahoe City (drive or bike ride) and Skylandia Beach & Park was right down the hill. Also, Sugar Pine Bakery is on your way to the beach and has amazing breakfast sandwiches and pastries that you can pick up and eat on a picnic bench over-looking the lake. The place itself had two levels, with living spaces and giant flat screen TVs, so our family could be separate from each other if needed. The hot tub is huge and very well maintained. Loved it!! The kitchen has everything you need and plenty of towels and linens. The bunk bed on the first floor could hold 4 adults! It was huge and awesome! All in all, the place was great, well kept, nothing fancy, but perfect for the price. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the house itself isn't the best for small children. The stairs are very steep to the second floor and the second floor deck has a space under the railing that made me nervous that my walking 1 year old could fall through. There is also, no fenced in backyard if you wanted your dog outside for a period of time alone. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again."

  • Everything was just as they said it would be, but even better!

"The house itself was just as the pictures showed us. Very comfortable home all the necessities plus ! The views of the lake are to die for, just unbelievable. It's breath taking. The large deck was so delightful and relaxing, and again the Views! The house was very clean and well maintained. We were a family of five adults, everyone had their own bathroom, and there was plenty of space to get away to read or just enjoy the peace and quiet. Cindy and her husband were very helpful, and answered back very quickly with any questions that we had. It's an easy drive from the Reno airport, which was one of our concerns. So many eating places that we had a hard time choosing. We took a paddle boat ride and that was very enjoyable. Would go back again in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
