  • very comfortable

"We found the property to be very comfortable and particularly liked the private outdoor patio. Those who slept on the fold out sofa were not as comfortable as the rest of us, and a foam pad would have helped greatly. The outdoor activity areas were great and we enjoyed the walk to the beach. It is a shame to see the Lake so low. It was nice to have the spices available and certainly added to our eating enjoyment and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Enjoyed going to Bacchi's restaurant just around the corner for the sweetbreads so enjoy. We also took the Tahoe Queen to Emerald Bay and that was a first for us. As we left my children were talking about next year!!!!!!"

  • Red Cedar; perfect size and location

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our stay at the Red Cedar home. The location was perfect to walk to the Safe Way grocery, CVS, restaurants, kayak/SUP/bike rentals, Commons Beach, farmers market, lakeside walk/bike path; basically all of Tahoe City. We had 7 in our party from ages 9, 20s-50. The home was large enough that we never felt on top of each other. The bottom level family room with big screen tv got a lot of late evening use for card playing and was perfectly separated from those who chose to retire to bed. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes, glasses, knives, etc. We did a lot of cooking and never lacked for anything. Home was clean, beds comfortable, & enough bathrooms for all. Heads up that washcloths are not provided. We purchased shower poufs at CVS. Also only one kitchen towel provided. We would definitely stay here again."

  • Excellent for Group Gatherings

"We rented this lovely home for a group of five couples and had a wonderful experience. The large, open great room, dining, and kitchen area was perfect for conversation, meals, games, and just hanging out. The adjoining deck with a large gas-fired BBQ overlooking the lake enhanced the experience. The downstairs TV lounge and back yard seating area with pit fireplace provided places where one could escape for a little quiet and solitude if needed. A car is definitely helpful, particularly in summer, to get around the sights and activities in the area. Hiking, boating, fun restaurants, and other activities abound. The house was well equipped, clean, and quiet. Highly recommended."

  • Very comfortable and clean

"This place was as advertised. Very clean and modern/updated. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals instead of eating out, large island to prepare meals, newer oven/stove & dishwasher. Garage was large enough for one SUV (maybe 2 small cars), bedrooms were spacious and can easily sleep 10 (with another on the couch), big dining table to accommodate large parties, plenty of seating in the living room, nice flat screen tv with Roku to watch netflix and other apps, and a backyard deck (which we couldn't use because of the crazy amounts of snow that fell and covered it). It is conveniently located in Tahoe City near HWY 89, Kings Beach, Homewood, Granlibaken Resort, and 15 minutes away from Squaw and Alpine. Close to trails along Truckee River. Nice coffee shop around the corner and supermarket down the street. Place had plenty of clean linens and towels. Fireplace was plenty to warm the living room, and the central heating easily warmed the upstairs and downstairs. Place was very clean. Would definitely stay here again!"
