  • Great Family Cabin

"My family and I stayed for the full month of July this summer and had a great experience. The property has everything you need and most importantly is a short walk to the Tahoe Park private beach. The house is clean and very comfortable with a great front porch and backyard. Ample parking and the neighbors are very friendly. After spending a month in the area, we felt like this is the best location in Tahoe. Short walk to a great beach and the new market which has everything you need. Easy ride into Tahoe City."

  • Excellent Accomodations

"The family and I have stayed twice for skiing at the Chalet and both times have been a great experience. The place is very welcoming and has a personal touches that make you feel like you are staying at a friends place versus a rental. Lee is always responsive and accommodating. Love the Wood Stove for the fire place. You are 5 minutes from the Lake and Tahoe City. Will definitely stay here again. Paul"

  • perfect

"This home was perfect for our quick getaway. A little dated, but priced right. we were cozy and happy with 3 teenage boys and two small dogs. The enclosed back yard has towering pine trees tht smell so good, and was perfect for leaving our dogs outside when we were away. location cant be beat-boys could bike to everything and explore the resort on their own-pool, dock and lake-so convenient! Biggest complaint and an easy fix for the owner-is that there were so many lightbulbs out that it was quite dark. Overall very enjoyable and we hope to return!"

  • Good place to stay, poor internet.

"This was a nice home to stay in. If you decide to stay here, there are a few things you should be aware of: Things we liked: * Nice neighborhood and location. * Nice amenities. * Well stocked cabin (paper products, soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies) * Heated floors in bathrooms What we didn't like: * The internet connection is a very SLOW DSL connection. We were unable to get even 1 Mbps downloads. A couple of people on our trip needed to be in touch with work and were unable to. It was difficult to see resort web cams. Movie night for us consists of streaming from our Roku player. The video was choppy and very low resolution. * Ventilation. The stove island doesn't have an overhead hood. This resulted in poor ventilation in the kitchen. The popup vent that pulls fumes from the stove area doesn't do a good job and ends up disrupting the stove flames, resulting in unpredictable and inconsistent hot spots in your pans. It also doesn't help remove fumes from the oven area. * Access to the hot tub is through a guest's bathroom. If that guest is using the bathroom or showering, you can't get to or from the hot tub."
