  • It's never off season at Tahoe

"This is a high quality place, nicely furnished with comfortable furniture with a perfect regional touch, much rough-cut wood. Every room looks comfortable even though of course we only stayed in one of the two master bedrooms. Plenty of books, DVDs and music for every taste except bad. A short walk from the lake, a decent walk from Tahoe City, and a somewhat dinky but quite pleasant pool. LOTS of room whether for a few pairs of adults or some kids who will love the bunk beds. Happy place to land. ("Romantic getaway" yes, but I'd suggest two couples as there is plenty of room and lots of privacy! Bring some good company and it's heaven)"

  • I like this place

"We had a family vacation (4 adults, two children) at this beautiful home during the Christmas days. Everything was great and comfortable. I like that this condo is situated very close to the Tahoe XS with their excellent cross country trails. We all are the advocates of cross country skiing, so we choose this home for that reason. Also, the location is very comfortable to reach as Tahoe Lake beaches as the Squaw Valley Resort and other local attractions. Thank you very much to David and Maria for their service! One thing we were disappointed was a sauna at the complex. As a rule, everybody uses it to change clothes to go to the hot tube so that we couldn't use according to its intended purpose."

  • Quaint cabin in the woods

"We had a great stay at the "sweet dreams" property this week. The house is so well maintained, clean and decorated, definitely above average to what we are used to going through VRBO at that price point. Location was great for what we were looking for, a short walk from Tahoe City, Rosie's and the lake, and an easy drive to a lot of hiking trails. The rooms are nice and cozy, bedding is very comfortable, and everything is top quality (e.g. towels... sometimes considered a detail... but actually make a difference when of good quality!). The only small downside is how dark the main room gets during the day; windows are tiny and house nested in the woods with not much sun exposure. Loved the game room!"

  • All around great

"We had a wonderful experience here! The place was very nice and in proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and resorts. Parking is easy. You can also take an easy walk to the beach (we were the only people there and got to enjoy a sunset to ourselves)! There is also a nice view of the lake from this property. The owners are very communicative and helpful; we received clear easy instructions for check in/out and small helpful notes are left around the place for all the appliances/fireplace/wifi etc. One of the things that makes this place stand out are the conveniences of fully stocked rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make 6+ homemade meals, and we found everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. Examples include, ample bath towels, lots of extra blankets, Kleenex in each room, air freshener in each bathroom, shampoo/conditioner, Tupperware, paper towels, and even phone chargers. There is a lot more, but the bottom line is that the owners make an effort to provide you with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend! Thank you!"
