  • Fantastic home. Great location. Quiet neighborhood .

"We loved the home. Very Quiet neighborhood . Close to every thing from shopping to hiking trails. Room for every one. We had 9 adults and it was comfortable in all aspects. There was plenty of room even if we had 4 or five more people. Plenty of beds. Thanks again Shiela"

  • Good place to stay, poor internet.

"This was a nice home to stay in. If you decide to stay here, there are a few things you should be aware of: Things we liked: * Nice neighborhood and location. * Nice amenities. * Well stocked cabin (paper products, soap, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies) * Heated floors in bathrooms What we didn't like: * The internet connection is a very SLOW DSL connection. We were unable to get even 1 Mbps downloads. A couple of people on our trip needed to be in touch with work and were unable to. It was difficult to see resort web cams. Movie night for us consists of streaming from our Roku player. The video was choppy and very low resolution. * Ventilation. The stove island doesn't have an overhead hood. This resulted in poor ventilation in the kitchen. The popup vent that pulls fumes from the stove area doesn't do a good job and ends up disrupting the stove flames, resulting in unpredictable and inconsistent hot spots in your pans. It also doesn't help remove fumes from the oven area. * Access to the hot tub is through a guest's bathroom. If that guest is using the bathroom or showering, you can't get to or from the hot tub."

  • Great Stay!

"Everything was great about the condo - it was very clean, near so many restaurants and activities, and a perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The front desk check in was so easy too. Quiet with an amazing view of the lake and boats. Commons Beach had a concert and there was a Farmer's Market on Thursday, which I would recommend. We would definitely rent again and recommend to others."

  • Charming Condo!

"We stayed here a week in July and had a wonderful time! This cozy condo has great Lake Tahoe decorations. Butler Bear put a smile on our faces every time we saw him. The condo was spotlessly clean and easy to find. The kitchen is lovely. We grilled out on the deck most nights and stayed out there to play games. The complex felt very private. We had the beautifully landscaped pool to ourselves a few times. The few people we did see were very friendly. Lake Forest is a perfect location--about a five minute drive to Tahoe City, where we had breakfast and rented bikes. It's about a half hour beautiful drive to many day outings. We hiked around the Emerald Bay Area, went stand up paddle boarding, and hiked up Mt. Tallac. We also rented bikes in town and rode along the new bike trail."
