Our family owned and managed, pet friendly home is modern and tastefully yet comfortably furnished, stocked with the vacationer in mind. The home is just a short block from the beach, right across the street from the park & a short walk to nightlife, the arcade and a small market! Just a few miles from Surf City town center with tons of restaurants, activities, and the pier.

We met Amy and she was great. The house and location worked wonderful for us. We stayed here with our entire family including our paraplegic sister who is in a wheelchair and the elevator was incredible for her. The house is so close to the beach you are able to walk over. Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at your lovely beach home; we had 4 generations of our family together, age 82 to 5 months; The home was very clean and well stocked with whatever we needed; The proximity to the beach was perfect; The elevator and the handicapped beach access allowed my mother in law to enjoy our beach vacation also; Amy was very responsive with any questions I had during our stay; We definately plan to stay here again;

The house was wonderful for our teen age granddaughters, their parents and the two of us who relied on the elevator. The walk to the beach was easy and the access has no stairs. We all loved the house!!!Check in was easy and the owners were outstanding!

Wonderful family vacation!

We had a great week at Sweet Tea by the Sea! We had ten people ages 18-65. Very short walk to the beach. Beach wagon and chairs were available and we used them daily! We rented a golf cart to drive around town, but it wasn’t a necessity. Other reviews noted The Trailer Bar that is a couple doors down, but it didn’t bother us and we actually enjoyed the music! The house had everything we needed! We were all very comfortable and look forward to staying again!

This place is amazing! Larger than expected and super clean. It was our twins first beach trip and we had everything we needed. Amy was super responsive to anything we needed. Looking forward to staying again!! Fun had by all 😎

Labor Day weekend

We enjoyed our weekend, the house was perfect for 2 families and 2 dogs. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the location was perfect, with a short walk to the beach.

Great Beach House and owners are Fantastic!

We planned a brief trip to our favorite location on the East Coast! Amy did a great job communicating and the property was well equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to enjoy our stay - even toothbrushes in the event we forgot ours. The owners were very accessible, accommodating, and happy to answer any questions we had promptly. GREAT JOB and thank you for an incredible short get away!!

Very nice!

The house was in the perfect location. It was super easy to get to the beach. House was plenty of room for 12 of us, the kitchen was well stocked. Only negative thing was the listing has one of the beds upstairs as a queen bed & we’re pretty sure it was only a full.

Great location and handcucap friendly!

My father is handicapped and uses a walker so the elevator was awesome to have! The beach was just a short walk away. Every restaurant we went seemed to be only a couple minutes from the house. Looking forward to booking again!

The house is amazing. This was our second year spending our summer vacation there and it won’t be our last. We have all positive experiences. The owners are awesome. They respond within an hour.

Family Celebration of life

The place was great, clean and honey. We enjoyed the place which was convenient to where we needed to be. Only one negative:It was 2 doors down from the trailer bar which had music Friday and Saturday night. Was ok if you were inside but pretty loud if you were outside. They did stop at 11:00.. overall a great place.

Great week!

We had a fabulous day in this wonderful home. The location was such a quick walk to the beach and we enjoyed the music from the nearby trailer bar and being so close to everything. We really enjoyed our time out on the front porch. The owner has really put a lot of thought into everything a family would need while there, making the packing process much easier. Any issue or question we had was met with a quick response from the owner. What a wonderful week making memories with our young adult children and the grandparents. We will definitely be back to this place!

Vacation 2023

We were so comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sweet Tea. The beach is easy access, within walking distance which was nice for hauling all of our supplies. We had the luxury of sitting on the deck and listening to live music from the Trailer Bar. It was a most pleasurable experience and plan on returning next year. The owners are great and they answers texts promptly. Thank you for sharing your home. The Ackmans

Sweet Tea Beach House Review

Pro: The house location was great for beach access especially for kids because there’s a playground on the way to the beach. The spacious living room and kitchen was nice for large family. And plenty of beds. Con: The house wasn’t very clean; showers and floors were dirty upon arrival. Dog hairs and sand on the bed that wasn’t ours that we noticed when we were checking out and had to strip the beds. There were a few too many unwanted critters in the house (mainly kitchen). The beds and pillows were uncomfortable.

My husband, Bruce and I fell in love with Surf City and hope to retire here in the future but in the meantime we love visiting as often as we can from our home in Pittsburgh, PA. We own another property down the road in North Topsail Beach (VRBO#967366).

Modern, open layout, fully stocked kitchen & elevator. Beautiful deck on the front & back of our home. The location is perfect- so close to the beach, park, nightlife & market & a bonus view of the beach and the intercoastal waterway. Our home feels just like home, but right at the beach!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I just love the quiet neighborhood feel of our home. The quiet streets are perfect for bike riding with views of the intercoastal waterway and canals. Its also so close to nightlife but so very quiet at the same time- best of both worlds!
