Storybook cottage in Saint Augustine is a perfect getaway
Very clean, comfortable, and quiet location. The beds were so comfy (best night sleep). There is everything you need there just bring clothes and food and your good to go. Everything is within a couple of miles
Exactly as shown in photos! Charming, very well located cottage. Easy walk all over town so very nice not having to drive and worry about parking. Owners responded immediately when we struggled to understand the heating system. Very nice people!
We had a wonderful week at this home. The location is great, within a 15 minute walk to downtown St. Augustine and a 15 minute drive to the beach. The cottage is very comfortable and the owners quickly responded when we had a minor issue with a beeping smoke alarm.

About the host
Hosted by Mike Williamson
We are recent empty nesters that moved to St. Augustine in 2018 from just up the road a bit in the suburbs. We moved because we love the vibe and all the things that St Augustine has to offer. We love to eat out and relax in and around town and enjoy just about everything about this awesome little city. Laura is originally from Orlando and Mike is from South Florida but we have both been in the Jacksonville/St Augustine area since the early 1990's.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property for its proximity to downtown St Augustine (easy walking distance) and we love being on the water (Lake Maria Sanchez). The unique, storybook architecture of our home drew us to it and we loved the idea of being able to share it with others through vacation rentals.
What makes this property unique
One thing you will notice right away about our home is the unique architecture with the arches and doors, the pitch of the roof, the balconies and the courtyard. It's all set on Lake Maria Sanchez and that's why we love it.
