Gather your family beneath the shade of live oaks in one of Ocracoke's classic island cottages. Morning Star blends the timeless charm of a 1930's beach bungalow with the modern comforts that today's travelers expect. Sip coffee on the front porch as the village wakes up, and spend the day exploring shops, beaches, and the lighthouse just a short stroll away. Then, return for dinner on the screened porch, and an evening under the stars. Or, enjoy one of the many unique and delicious restaurant options, all within walking distance of the house. Spacious enough for families and friends, yet warm, cozy, and welcoming enough to feel like your own island home, Morning Star is where unforgettable Ocracoke memories begin.

Two bedrooms each feature a queen and a twin; the master bedroom has a king. The house has two full baths (tub/shower combos). Amenities include complimentary Wi‑Fi, central A/C and heat, 3 TVs, stereo/CD player, dishwasher, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, and gas grill. Docking for one boat available upon request. All linens provided. Parking for four vehicles.
Sleeps up to 8. Nonsmoking; no pets. The house features three bedrooms, with two bedrooms offering a queen bed and a twin bed, while the master bedroom boasts a king bed. There are two full baths, each equipped with a tub/shower. Additional amenities include free wireless internet, central air conditioning, three TVs, a phone, a stereo/CD player, a dishwasher, a washer and dryer, an outdoor shower, and a gas grill. This charming house is conveniently located within walking distance of all island shops and restaurants. Docking for one boat is available upon request, and Morning Star accommodates up to eight guests.


Pets are not allowed, and the cottage is non-smoking.

Parking on Ocracoke is EXTREMELY limited.
The cottage DOES NOT have additional parking for utility trailers.

Everything was clean and ready to enjoy our vacation!Rooms were great for being an older home, beachy and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed for your stay. Also enjoyed the outside shower,just needed a few hooks. Enjoyed our stay so much, walks in the morning and days of relaxing and fun!The host was so easy to contact if needed. Finally made it to Ocracoke!!

Property could not have been more perfect!House was larger than expected and clean beyond clean!!! The location was within walking distance to both the Village area and the beach. Having a front porch, back screened in porch and a deck was amazing for a family who loves being outdoors!Can’t wait to book it again
