This is a vary attractive small property near the ferry at Ocracoke. I liked that it was very clean and tidy. The bedspreads and throw rugs were attractive and clean. Bedrooms are small but we only needed 2 and used the others as dressing rooms. Location is wonderful, as it’s near Silver Lake. It was nice that there were spices and cleaning supplies available. Great stay!

This is the perfect vacation house. BEST one on the island. The house is just adorable, clean, comfy. It feels like home the minute you walk in! We must love it.

Our first in oacracoke. It was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had! I own my own cleaning business in the OBX and to feel comfortable staying here says alot. It was very clean. Cottage matched the pictures. Hostess was very responsive and helpful. I hope to come back again. This place is a hidden gem to rejuvenate!! And everyone' on this island is happy!! Thank you again

This house is super cute and close to a lot, BUT it is situated on the end of the island behind a water maintenance plant…it’s close to the sound but not real easy access…more secluded in a little back neighborhood. The inside is cute but some curtains and other items were a little old and dingy. The beds were ok, but not great. Also, I obviously missed this in the listing, but there are no sheets, pillow cases, towels or washcloths provided. This was a big inconvenience due to us flying and having limited space. Again, my fault for not reading it clearly, but it is still something to consider if you are planning to rent here. Communication with the host was easy and the check in process was very simple and smooth. But if you are looking for a place with “amenities” then you might consider somewhere else.

Little House by the Ferry was the perfect place for our family of four and fur baby to stay. We enjoyed the Fourth of July celebrations, walks to shops and restaurants, miles of beautiful beach, and an island full of history. Marsh was super responsive and a wonderful host to work with. We would stay again! If you are looking for a water view, this may not be the place for you. But the screened in porch and private lot are amazing.
