Cabo San Lucas is world famous for it's natural rock formation in the ocean known as 'The Arch'. But there is only a small area on the Corridor where you can actually see the Arch at Land's End. Misiones is located on this small stretch of beach. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and a commanding view of the legendary Arch from your over sized private terrace. In fact, this one bedroom, one bathroom unit offers an Arch view not only from the 45 ft long balcony, but also from the kitchen, living room and bedroom. Many condos claim a view of 'Lands End' but few can offer the romantic view of 'The Arch' at Land's End.
The resort features a guarded, gated entrance, large swimming pool with swim up palapa bar, and 2 restaurants. The concierge can arrange most activities and can set up tee times at one of 8 nearby championship golf courses. Sunset Mona Lisa Restaurant is located on the property, providing you with a view so spectacular, you'll come back night after night. Or maybe not, since the same great ocean views are available from your private balcony.
This beautiful, non-smoking corner unit features over 1000 square feet of living space including the 300 square foot covered balcony with ocean and Arch view. The full kitchen is complete with all amenities, and the bedroom features a very comfortable king size bed and flat screen TV. The living room includes a Hi Definition LED TV with a Dish Network system that receives over 100 channels plus 100 Sirius Music channels, AM/FM stereo and CD player. A Brinks wall safe is included for your convenience.
This fully air conditioned unit also has a washer & dryer, a high speed fiber optic line and private wi-fi. We also provide a Vonage phone for free phone calls to the U.S. and Canada. The huge covered balcony includes patio furniture to relax in and an outdoor table to enjoy meals and the fabulous sunsets. If you like to BBQ on the balcony, you'll enjoy the gas BBQ. And yes, you can hear the sounds of the ocean as you sleep at night!
Both private beaches are a two minute walk from the condo, and you will never encounter annoying beach vendors here like you will on the main beaches. Scuba diving is available in town (3 miles away) along with parasailng, ATV's and jet skis, horseback riding, sunset cruises, shopping, dining and more.
Costco is located less than a mile away from the condo and with Wal-Mart Super Center, City Club, and Soriana's Mega Super Markets in Cabo, you'll be able to purchase almost any grocery item you can imagine.
Prior to your arrival, we mail you a map of the resort and over 4 pages of useful tips and information that should answer most of your questions about the condo, the resort and Cabo San Lucas. So if you're a regular traveler to Cabo or a first time visitor, you can be confident that you'll have all the information you need to make your vacation go smoothly.

Lynn and I have been traveling to Cabo from California for more than 20 years and when the opportunity to purchase our condo at Misiones became available, we jumped on it. Our love for the area grew with each visit and we decided that when the time was right, this is where we would like to retire. In 2004 we purchased a 3 bedroom home in Cabo Bello, which borders Misiones. In 2006 we retired and made the move to Cabo. In 2007 we purchased a lot in Cabo Bello and built our dream home, which is where we now live. In addition to maintaining and renting our home and condo, we also help other Cabo owners with their property management and rentals.
Bob Pearsall purchased this condo in 2001
We looked at several locations in Los Cabos before we purchased at Misiones, and we found that downtown Cabo and the marina were too busy for us, and San Jose del Cabo had limited activities and benefits. Misiones is a small, quiet resort only 3 miles from town, so if we get the urge for a night out in Cabo, it's close by. But as a quiet, relaxing resort with a great ocean view of Land's End, Misiones was the perfect choice.
When you first walk into the condo, one of the first things you'll notice is the great ocean and arch views from every room. Most balconies face the pool, but ours faces the ocean, which gives us more privacy, and the sound coming from the ocean sure beats the sounds coming from the pool. You'll also appreciate some of the same conveniences that you enjoy at home including private fiber optic hi speed internet, a
Vonage phone system with free unlimited calls, Dish Network in the living room and bedroom TV's, a washer and dryer, wall safe and a built in BBQ on the balcony. When we completed the remodel and added the new appliances and furniture, we knew we had the perfect place. In addition, the private, safe swimming beach is a 2 minute walk from the condo and there are several great restaurants within walking distance.

This sweet condo is bright, open, super-clean and comfortable. The large wrap-around deck is where you can spend many happy hours enjoying the stunning views of the Sea of Cortez and the famous El Arco in the distance. The owners live nearby and sees to every detail personally. We love the Misiones resort. It's a hidden treasure which is just close enough to Cabo San Lucas town and Marina for the fun and action, but far enough away for peace and tranquility. You won't want to leave.
My husband and I ventured back to Bob and Lynn's condo for our honeymoon back in September of 2015. We were supposed to visit in fall of 2014, but Hurricane Odile spoiled our plans. We figured it was the next best option to celebrate after our wedding! Amenities are all the same... pool, stocked fridge with beer, fabulous patio with sea breeze, quiet condo community, Walmart down the road for groceries... can't say enough about this little gem in Misiones. I love Cabo and plan to come back next year for a girl's trip with mom, who is also a frequent renter with Bob and Lynn.
Our first trip to Cabo, and my husband and I were looking for a place to decompress and spend some kid-free time together. I loved the pictures of this condo and the description of this place as NOT being the place to go if you were looking for wild partying. We couldn't have been happier with this choice!
I just don't think the pictures do the place justice. We arrived in the afternoon and Bob had already been to the condo to open the sliders to let in the breeze, and stock the fridge with some cold waters and cervezas to welcome us. And we felt very welcomed! Once we arrived it was very hard to think of any reasons to leave. The view is spectacular, the kitchen well stocked and the bed was super comfortable. Bob and Lynn have thought of everything! We knew immediately that this was a place we would return to. I don't know if it was the timing but it was VERY quiet while we were there. The only other humans we heard were the gardeners occasionally. We slept great and found a way to "squeeze in" naps every day :)
- We weren't sure if we'd need a car or not but in the end decided to get one and we were glad we did. You don't HAVE to have one but it does give you some freedom to get around. We rented from BBB Rentals and were extremely happy with them. Check them out, they were great to work with
- We stopped at Walmart the day we arrived and picked up some basic groceries and we will do the same next time. Walmart is not too far from the condo. We also used the ATM there to change some money to pesos
- If you want to eat at Sunset da MonaLisa get your reservations way in advance! We couldn't get in for prime time while we were there, but we did go to the bar and that was pretty awesome too
- We loved Tacos Gardenias in town so much we ate there 3 times. Great tacos and ceviche and very reasonably priced. http://www.tacosgardenias.com
- We went out for 2 nice dinners- one at Puerta Vieja up the road from Misiones, and one on Medano Beach at Hacienda Cocina & Cantina. Both were great, but Hacienda was worth the trip to see the beautiful grounds.
- We did the walk along the beach into town to eat breakfast at Mango deck on our last day. It is a challenging walk (I'm sure my husband will forgive me some day) with a beautiful view the whole time. I recommend wearing some good athletic sandals as you'll be climbing some rocks.
We loved this place! Thanks, Bob & Lynn!
This review is well overdue. We have rented from Bob twice, and rented a condo that he manages once. This condo was fantastic, we stayed there in December 2014. It is clean, well kept and has everything you will need, included a few ice cold cerveza's right you arrive! We have been 4 times now to Cabo, three times to Misiones, once to Cabo Bello, next door. The only reason we have not always rented from Bob is availability, because they are so popular. This is why we book our trips now right when we get back from one! The pool bar is perfect, Pepe and Andreas are amazing! They are so friendly, and the food is awesome, especially Mexican night when real authentic Mexican is served. You really get a sense of community at Misiones, and everyone is very friendly. There are a lot of snowbirds, so you see a lot of the same faces everyday along with the weekly visitors. This past year , we paid $25 a week for the gym at the neighouring Sunrock Hotel which was very convenient. We also managed to walk over the rocks (not a real path, little bit of climbing) and into Cabo, which we love but GO EARLY, it gets very hot, and take water. We are already booked for this year and I look forward to it everyday.
My initial thought as we walked through the door of Bob's Casa for the first time was...."the photos do not do it justice"!
Before even grabbing a cold cerveza, which was so kindly waiting for us upon arrival, we opened up the pocket doors leading to the huge balcony....full of wonderful breezes from the Sea of Cortez and a picture perfect view of Lands End and El Arco. I knew right away, this was someplace special.....and I was so right!
I will now give you a condensed version of our week in paradise. What you can expect. Some tips. And maybe some dos & don'ts for your vacation.
We booked transport to and from the airport through allwayscabotransportation.com. $160 round trip was a little extravagant, but we were out of the airport & on our way to our condo in about 5 minutes with cold drinks all around. (Pick up for our return was also perfect)
That first night, with the twinkling lights of Cabo San Lucas in the distance, we headed up to the wine & pizza bar at Sunset De Mona Lisa. This world class restaurant is just steps away, and there is no need for reservations for the upstairs bar. We had pizza & cocktails, a little chilly that evening, so the waiter brought us over some blankets to wrap up in....so cozy & a great way to start our vaca! (Total bill 37$ USD)
The next morning we walked up to the main road, about a 10 minute hike uphill. We crossed the main road to catch one of the little white buses that run back and forth all day long. 1$ USD & they will drop you where ever you like. We went into downtown Cabo & we also made a stop at Walmart to stock up on groceries, we bought eggs, coffee, milk, meats....etc, not to mention lots of alcohol, all for about $110, which lasted us the week. There was a cab stand out front, no problem ( it seems that every time we took a cab, it was 20$ USD, that included tip) we may have overpaid? But it felt fair to us.
We did every touristy thing you could possibly think of....whale watching, parasailing, ATV riding, water taxi to Lovers Beach, Cabo Wabo Cantina, The Office.......and it was all great! But my favorite part of the whole week was just sitting out on the balcony, drinking our coffee & watching the cruise ships come in. Same goes for cocktails on the balcony in the evening watching the sunset & the lights of Cabo.
The week went by in wink of an eye & we were sad to leave, but also so content in the choice we made to stay at Bob's Casa.
There simply isn't a better place to stay in Cabo San Lucas. The community in and around Misiones has the laid back, relaxed feel of what I imagine Cabo once was. The view from the Condo is spectacular, a short 50 yard walk to a world class restaurant Sunset Da Mona Lisa which also has an informal pizza and wine bar up top. The days we went into Cabo we either took a short taxi ride or, as we preferred, we walked down to the main road to catch a bus for a little less than a US dollar. On the bus we enjoyed interacting with the locals and learning where to go for the best activities and local dining. The cove nearby is perfect for snorkeling, with schools of vibrant fish. Most afternoons/evenings we'd find ourselves down by the pool enjoying a drink and a taco from the bar while visiting with our fellow travelers and new friends. We will be going back to Cabo but will have to plan around availability of Bob's Casa, to stay anywhere else would be a let down.
