2nd Stay

We enjoyed this property for the second time. It is so convenient to downtown Kirkland. Walkability plus. There is a covered car port so it is perfect. Minimal traffic noise. Extremely nice neighborhood.

Great location but needs care and upkeep.

When we arrived, the outside trash was overflowing with dirty diapers on the ground. As a result, trash accumulated along the walkways to home. I contacted owner and received no response. Trash was never picked up during our entire stay.The condo is lacking maintenance. The stairs and decking need to repaired and walls and woodwork need painting. The towels need replacing and the mattress pad was stained. Kitchen towels were not provided so we used bathroom hand towel in kitchen. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Christmas week visit

Overall, just "OK". Kitchen lacking supplies, like enough silverware, bags and wraps, kitchen towels (there was only 1). No window coverings for windows facing busy 3rd st. Heater is different, works well to heat main living area, but bedrooms and bathroom don't have vents and get almost no heat. Had problem at check out and could find who to call, left message. Bathroom sink not draining well. Beds very comfy.

updated apartment

This property in Selkirk Washington was lovely. The living area was newly renovated, spacious, clean, had a very comfy couch, beds were super comfortable, kitchen was a nice size, and the area was full of trendy shops and great restaurants right on the harbor that was only a little over a five minute walk. The area was very quiet at night and felt extremely safe. There were a couple of negatives. The large private deck had no outdoor furniture. As well, it was hot the day we arrived and the apartment was very warm when we stepped inside. We turned the ac on, but it took a while for the place to cool down. It would have been much more inviting and comfortable if the ac had been turned on before we arrived. However, that being said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay her again. The apartment was a true sanctuary for the four of us and we will recommend it to friends. Thank you to the owners as this place made our holiday that much nicer.

Great location

The location and decor was wonderful. We walked to restaurants easily. A bus runs along the street so public transit is readily available. The setup of the condo was pleasant and there was lots of room for the four of us. There is furniture on the deck now, albeit dusty. There are a number of stairs leading up to the second floor entrance in case mobility is an issue. The owner responded quickly to our messages. We only had one major concern during our stay, and that was that the shower drained very slowly. This issue was brought up to the owner right away but she only looked into it after we checked out 6-7 days later. My husband started taking showers elsewhere and my son stopped taking showers after 4-5 days of this. Other minor issues for us was that the ice maker did not work (owner was aware and apologized), the curtains in the second bedroom are not darkening and let in lots of light (owner told us this before we booked), and that the air conditioning consists only of one unit that blows into the living room area. You may want to bring some fans for the bedrooms if you are staying here during a warm spell. Many homes in Seattle don't have AC at all so we appreciated having some AC. Overall, we enjoyed the great location and ample space.

I would stay here again

Comfortable, clean and is stocked with basics (kitchen items, utensils, etc). Great walkable location. There is a deck currently being added which will be good for sitting outside on nice days.
