Beautiful property and accommodating hosts. The bed (and quilt) was comfy and the fireplace warmed me in the mornings and late evenings. A beautiful place to relax and rejuvenate. The full kitchen had all the essentials to make all my meals. Very quiet and private. Being close to Juanita Bay was a bonus feature for early morning walks.

This is a picture perfect property. Grounds are meticulously kept. Close to restaurants and and activities. I would recommend this local quiet destination. The owners are so kind and attentive to your needs. I highly recommend this destination.

We loved staying in the cottage! It was such a peaceful break from our visit to the city. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful- and just a joy to speak to when our paths would cross in the garden! If you are looking for peace, quiet and a cozy bed- look no further!

I had a wonderful four day stay at this charmingly beautiful place in Kirkland. The cottage looks even better than the pictures. It’s comfortable and fully equipped. Marcy and Norm wonderful hosts. I would love to come back and stay again.

Unfortunately, my husband had a terrible breathing problem due to the fragrance in the room. He actually slept in the car the first night. We left the next morning losing the next two nights. I informed the owner the next morning.

You told us you (wife) couldn’t smell anything and not sure what he (husband) is smelling. We went in to see if someone plugged some scent thing in or placed something where we couldn’t see it but couldn’t find anything or smell anything! I don’t use scent in the cottage because I’m sensitive to them. So your choice to leave was your own not because we had scent in any of the rooms. My husband remember ed as well you even said to us, “I don’t smell anything.” So it would be helpful if you could remove the review. Thank you, Willis’

The bed and mattress were terrible, the shower handle was broken, outlets flicker, but ultimately the host entering unannounced made us very uncomfortable. we stayed only a few days then went to a hotel

This sweet cottage is a real throwback to how vacation rentals began. Attentive hosts, safe places, priced affordably. The bonus was the beautiful yard styled as an English garden. The kitchen was missing a few items but we were able to borrow them from the hosts. I would recommend this place 100% if you’re staying in Kirkland or visiting Seattle.

Lovely cottage with propane fireplace was super cozy and well done. Hosts greeted us as we arrived and seemed like "old friends"....felt very welcomed! Quiet location but close to what we needed.

This property is spectacular because the guest cottage on our grounds is one of a kind. We designed the interior after we took a trip to Nantucket Island! People that have stayed here say it is uniquely peaceful! Was featured on, "TINY HOUSE NATION!."

Spring thru Fall one acre of immaculate landscaped grounds!!

Juanita Beach if 6 blocks away with a beautiful Lake Washington access for paddle boards and kayaks, lots of new climb on toys for kids of all ages, rentals, snack bar (in the summer months) All updated within the last 3 years. SO nice to have nearby and a great place to walk to (large walkway out around the beach area) and if you include that round trip from our house to the beach is 2 1/2 miles! So, you can your walks in!!

The benefits are that it's close to everything, the beach, the mountains, downtown Seattle, Microsoft, Boeing, Google, and if you love islands - the San Juan's are only 2 hrs. away!
Kirkland is like a beach town in the summer with arts festivals, alfresco dining everywhere and a beautiful waterfront to stroll and enjoy the view of downtown Seattle and the Olympic mountains. Come stay a week or stay a lifetime! You'll be glad you came! OH AND REMEMBER - IF YOU RENT A MOVIE ON OUR TV (NETFLIX, PRIME, ETC.) LEAVE US A CHECK OR CASH FOR EACH MOVIE YOU HAD TO PAY FOR - THANKS!!! )
