Great place great location

Wonderful house for 3 couples to enjoy. Dog friendly which was great and easy to get to Nature Preserve and downtown Cape May. We would stay there again!

Wonderful Stay in Cape May

This little gem in West Cape May was wonderful! Beautifully-maintained property, lots of room for the dog to play, and exceptionally quiet. I will certainly be looking to book this house again when I plan my next visit to Cape May!

Great quiet location

We stayed here for our annual sisters-in-law trip, and had a great time. The house was clean and the kitchen well-stocked. Note that you will need to bring your own sheets, towels, body wash and shampoo. The owners live in the big White House next door and were super friendly and helpful. We had an awesome stay.

This home was exactly as advertised. The house is well maintained in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to town. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, central air. Would happily return here.

Secluded and quiet stay near all the action

Terrific location that was quiet and relaxing, just a quick drive to get to any of Cape May’s attractions. The fenced-in area was so helpful with our dogs. We had a minor issue when we arrived that was remedied within minutes. Chuck and Barbara couldn’t have been better hosts!

Cape May Vacation

This was a wonderful vacation. Property was immaculate, kitchen well stocked. Location was good a short ride to the beach or into town. My only suggestion would be an outdoor shower, or a hose to rinse off before entering house after the beach.

Cape May Getaway

Lovely property. Very clean and sweet. Great for a family and pet; although we decided not to bring our pet after all and frankly, there are a lot of geese on the property because of the nearby pond and they would have driven her crazy, so it was best we did not bring her. But it was a lovely stay.

Excellent Location

The house was very clean and located 1.6 miles from everything Cape May has to offer! An added bonus, the neighbors are so friendly! Make sure to bring a throw blanket, as evening are perfect for sitting out front enjoying the sunsets.

West Cape May - Relaxing and Quiet Getaway

This is a town I grew up in and have been vacationing for decades so it was easy to search for areas I wanted accommodations. I was looking for quiet and laid back and that’s exactly what I got. Everything is close so just 5 minutes away from town and the beach has its own vibe. The accommodations were simple and well maintained. This listing provided a great escape for catching up with my kids and their partners and grandchild. Hammock out front is house under the trees was very relaxing and used often. A few of us fell asleep on it. The house was clean and the owner left notes in various locations to assist with questions we may have had. If I need a place that fits 6 comfortably, I will check to see if the home is available again.

Perfect fall getaway!

We loved the Cottage! It is beautifully furnished, had everything we needed, was super clean, and had plenty of storage space for our gear. The hammock, pond, and grounds are all a fun bonus. We are big fans of West Cape May and loved the proximity to Rea’s, Beach Plum Farm, and Willow Creek Winery. We didn’t expect a great forecast but the Cape May bubble came through and it was a gorgeous weekend with only a couple hours of evening rain… so we even spent time on the beach!

Beautiful scenery

The house was really nice and the scenery was beautiful. I grew up on a lake, so I absolutely loved hearing the ducks quacking. Totally enjoyable!

Cape May Fun

We enjoyed the peaceful property and watching the birds. It was lovely sitting on the front porch in the morning and evenings. A quick bike ride, walk, drive to areas of Cape May! Very clean property.

Had a lovely week at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Really loved the hammock and the view of the pond and the ducks. It was centrally located - 5 min from the beaches.

Peaceful spot

Property was great. Close to the beach, but nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the view of the pond, waking up to peaceful surroundings each morning. Everything was very clean and it was a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Hidden gem, minutes from everywhere!

My husband and I booked this property for our Anniversary getaway, with our dog "Doc". Everything about the place was wonderful! It was a sweltering 90 degrees and humid when we arrived and the AC was pumping away for our moving in process. "The mowers", who were still mowing when we arrived, turned out to be the owner who lives next door. He was immediately welcoming and courteous. Ended up having some nice visits with him through our stay. Great guy. I was weary of leaving Doc crated in an unfamiliar town, but I felt very safe about it after meeting the owner. Dog beach was a 15 minute drive to Wildwood, and we would return in the afternoon to enjoy the shaded porch area where Doc stared longingly at the pond full of ducks and geese. The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. I am so happy we fell upon this listing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful 5 acres of serenity with us. We hope to return!

Nice stay

House may be on 5 acres but there are 3 others house right on top of you. Neighbors are friendly but if you are looking for a little privacy this isn’t it. You sit out front facing the road as there is not a big back yard with any deck or chairs. Clean and nice to stay at.
