Home base is the big open living room, where a stone fireplace glows beneath the TV and the balcony shows off pines and peaks. Dinner happens together at the eight-seat table, with the kitchen's breakfast bar keeping helpers close. When bedtime comes, grown-ups retreat to the master with its private bath, kids climb into the handcrafted log bunks with a movie on their own TV, and late arrivals fold down the wall bed or stretch out on the memory-foam sleeper. With three bathrooms, nobody queues in the morning.

Between ski days, the lodge keeps everyone busy: cannonballs in the heated outdoor pool, soaks in the shared hot tubs, foosball showdowns in the game room, and s'more-worthy evenings around the shared fire pit.
