About this property
Unit W/ Mtn Views, Walk to Summer Festivals
Red Hawk Lodge 2264 was made for family ski trips, with sleeping for nine and a bunk room the kids will race to claim, all a short snowy walk from Keystone's River Run Village.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE - King master suite with private bath - Log bunk room (twin over king) with its own TV & bath - Queen wall bed + memory-foam sofa sleeper - Dining table that seats eight - 6-minute walk to the River Run Gondola - Outdoor pool, hot tubs, steam room & game room
Home base is the big open living room, where a stone fireplace glows beneath the TV and the balcony shows off pines and peaks. Dinner happens together at the eight-seat table, with the kitchen's breakfast bar keeping helpers close. When bedtime comes, grown-ups retreat to the master with its private bath, kids climb into the handcrafted log bunks with a movie on their own TV, and late arrivals fold down the wall bed or stretch out on the memory-foam sleeper. With three bathrooms, nobody queues in the morning.
Between ski days, the lodge keeps everyone busy: cannonballs in the heated outdoor pool, soaks in the shared hot tubs, foosball showdowns in the game room, and s'more-worthy evenings around the shared fire pit. Ski storage and an elevator make hauling gear painless, and the village's restaurants and festivals are minutes away on foot.
Give the family a week they will replay all year and reserve Red Hawk Lodge 2264.
One vehicle parks free in the lodge's shared garage.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review Jaron! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay with us and loved the condo and its amenities. It was great to host you and we hope to see you again soon! ~ SummitCove Lodging
Location can’t be beat. Short 5 min door to lift (after accounting for elevator or stairs and walk across parking lot). We used to stay in Dillion but with two kids and needing to switch off ski/parent duty being close was ideal.
The kitchen is well supplied with utensils/dishes/pots pans and even a crock pot. A kitchen is essential for us when coming up to ski and this one does the job.
We did have quite a few issues the biggest one being eco friendlyness. When we arrived the heat was turned up to 80 and despite turning the heat all the way down we had to have the windows and sliding door open day and night to tolerate the temperature. (This is because the fridge is so old and inefficient and heats the room and also it’s a “hotel” with heated units all around.) even the parking garage is heated to 70degrees. We were visiting in February with daytime highs in the 30s and had the sliding door and windows open all the time for 3 days to make the unit temp tolerable. This in a mountain town under critical drought.
Also, the check in process was a bit difficult. We are very familiar with the area but the map sent us to the wrong place to check in and we had to call and get directions to the actual spot which was across the street and down a few blocks. They said they had tried to change the location with google but haven’t gotten it updated yet. Once checked in it was difficult to find the unit (north or south building? Where is the parking garage?)
Another issue was that we picked this unit because of the bunk bed but the spacing of the railings is way too far apart and our three year old would have slid right out. Not safe at all for young kids to sleep in (fine for older larger kids or ones that are less wiggly at night).
We also could not get the stove burners to work until we realized that all four burners were unplugged. Luckily it only took us 20min to figure this out.
Great to have appliances (dishwasher/fridge/oven) but they are all from the 90s and are loud and energy inefficient. For the cost of the rental they could afford to buy new appliances with one weeks rental.
Pool is heated and is small but nice. Hot tubs are great too. Fireplace is lovely but you have to open the door wider to tolerate the heat it generates.
And this is a building issue but the elevators are super slow. Take the stairs.
Overall we had a fine time due to the location but there are lots of opportunities for improvement.
