During the summer months, a couple of nearby establishments host outdoor live music a few days a week. It’s a great way to experience some local live music. Depending on the time of year, you can enjoy the small-town charm of a Fourth of July Parade, the Whitewater Festival on the Swan River’s Wild Mile, the Bigfork Car Show, a few rounds at the Eagle Bend Golf Course, keeping fit at the Montana Athletic Club, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding and the Bigfork Rodeo. Virtually every opportunity to get closer to nature is right at your doorstep, including biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, jet-skiing and canoeing.

Charter sightseeing and fishing boats, relax at the Flathead Lake Lodge, hit the slopes of Blacktail Mountain and Big Mountain for snowboarding and skiing, or venture into the Jewel Basin wilderness area for hiking in Wayfarers State Park or along the Swan River Nature Trail.
