Nice stay but house needs updating

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We have stayed in Sunset Captiva every year for past 35 years so I know almost every three bedroom property in the community. Number 34 is a true three bedroom that is large. It is fine but really needs some updating. The furniture in the living room is worn and there is not enough seating. There are family picture ALL over which is just a little odd for a rental. The master bedroom bed is only a queen and was extremely uncomfortable. The upstairs loft has two odd old lounge chairs with a tv. And again tons of family pictures. Better furniture or adding a pullout couch would be a much better use of the space for a family rental. The porch is very large but rugs are old and moldy and the shades are so old they don't work. All in all with just a little work this house could be made much better and on par with other three bedroom rentals in the community.
