The apartment is in a Historical building in downtown Del Norte, CO and is above a restaurant and office space. It is centrally located and in walking distance to local retail shops including a local microbrewery restaurant. It is just a short drive to Wolf Creek ski area and other local attractions, including hiking and biking.
The space includes a kitchen with refrigerator, a two burner cook top, microwave, small toaster oven, cooking ware, and plates. The bathroom has a shower only and is stocked with towels. The building does have a shared laundry facility free of charge to our guest. A total of 3 apartment have access to the laundry facility. Guest must climb stairs to access the apartment.

Great stay!

I stayed here during my travel assignment for work. Very nice place and super quiet for the location. Walking distance to great food! Cozy bed and recliners. Fully furnished. Definitely recommend!

We stayed for two weeks, it was amazing having a kitchen and bathroom to ourselves. I really liked that the washing maching and dryer were separated from the room as when I read the amenities I thought it would be located in the room. I also saw that the windows were blocked out at the bottom and worried it would effect my sleep, but it was actually fine. The sauna was perfect as well, only used it twice because we were out exploring most of the time so if we come back we will definitely be using it a lot more.

Our stay was comfortable and quiet. We did not mind the stairs to the apartment, the location is directly in town and we walked to many shops and restaurants. The AC and ceiling fans kept us cool, enough hot water in the shower and kitchen for washing dishes. We found the washer and dryer conveniently located across the hallway. When we next return to the area, we book our stay again at this clean, quiet and convenient location.

Great location. Great price.

Very convenient downtown location. Great communication with owner. Kitchen and dining room separate from bedroom. Great value. Parking is on the street but we had no problem finding parking close by. The apartment is on a second.

Perfect Base of Operations for Del Norte Area

Great location, clean, well equipped kitchen, owners very helpful, available washer & dryer a big plus. If you can hack the stairs to get to it, this is a great place for two people wanting to check out the Del Norte area. There's lots to do in the way of hiking & biking without driving far.

Nice long weekend getaway in the San Luis Valley

The apartment was as described. We were comfortable and cooked a couple of meals. Although we knew going in that the windows were mostly covered, we did wish we could have some air flow and natural lighting. With the location, we were able to enjoy the Great Sand Dunes National Park, nearby towns, and Del Norte itself. Laura was prompt and helpful with her communication. The listing described having a hot tub/spa but that wasn't the case.

Classic Old Time Colorado

Great historic building with updated rooms. You can feel the history of this Old Timey building on the Main Street in Del Norte. Location is great, lots of food options right at your door or within a few minute walk. The room is simple, clean and fulfills all your needs. The host was super responsive and kind, even when I asked a question about Wifi that was posted on their flyer that I should have not had to ask. Del Norte works great for skiing at Wolf Creek Ski area. It is a little farther than the South Fork options, but far exceeds when it comes to dining options. Staying on the East side of the pass is not only more affordable, the Pagosa Springs side is the first to close in inclement weather. This means if a storm blows through, you might still get to ski (and ski an empty mountian) instead of having part of your trip cut short by bad weather. Check in was super smooth and easy. Room was clean and neat with plenty of linens for our stay. Staying here on future trips will definitely be one of our go to options!

Quiet place

It was quiet and simple place. I think it is overpriced for the location and the layout. Did not expect to have boarded up windows. It reminded me of a motel than a VRBO.

very clean practical well-located unit

This is a very simple clean unit with large kitchen area. It is above store front/restaurant, but that was not an issue. It has nice high ceilings. It is very well located for day trips to Pagosa Springs, Salida and Ft Garland. Very close to Penitente Canyon. The landlord/owner is responsive and available. The only negative is that the windows are partly covered, limiting natural light. I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice

Property is very clean and in perfect condition. Everything in good order for an extended stay. Convenient downtown location. Quiet, no outside noise. Spacious sleeping room and large kitchen with well supplied cooking utensils.

5 Day Stay

We had great accommodations! They were willing to respond to questions or concerns before our trip in a timely manner which I truly appreciated. Everything was there that we needed. Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items. When our air conditioner was having issues, I text Laura and they had it taken care of that morning. Very responsive and great to deal with. Definitely a go-to place when we come to Del Norte.

Functional, good location, clean, and modern

I recognize it's an interior apartment in an historic building, so there are some structural limits to additional ventilation options. Other than some improved sources of fresh air, it was just what we needed for a long weekend of mountain biking in the area.

We are excited to start this journey as host through Airbnb and want to accommodate our guest as much as we can. We enjoy living in the San Luis Valley with everything it has to offer, the sand dunes, hot springs pool, hiking, hunting, camping, dirt bike and atv riding.
