Cancellation Policy: If you cancel prior to the balance being due (30 days prior to arrival), nothing further for the reservation would be processed and you would only forfeit the deposit.  If you cancel after paying in full, we will refund you for any nights that we are able to rebook, minus the $400.00 deposit.  If we were to close to tourism, you would be fully credited the amount that you have paid towards a future booking and the balance would not be processed. Travel Insurance is available and strongly encouraged.

The beach across the street was great with the provided snorkeling gear. The pool and hot tub were great after sunset. The concierge service was exceptional. We were able to do many different activities with easy, beautiful drives.

Very nice unit. Very clean and lots of amenities including beach chairs, umbrella, washer / dryer, etc. Decent view of the ocean and a very short walk to the public beach. Overall, I rate the accommodations as excellent — no complaints whatsoever. I definitely recommend this unit / rental to others.

Lovely condo at a great location

I visit Maui frequently and always stay in S. Kihei. I have stayed in many condos in this area, and this is one of the nicest condos and condo complex!! The unit looks just as you see in the pictures that are posted. Matt is very responsive and easy to communicate with when making a reservation, and helpful with answering questions. Mahalo, Matt. I definitely plan to make stay at this unit for my future visits!

Beautiful Condo

Great location, comfortable, clean and loaded with everything you need for your vacation. All the amenities you need for beach days, which is important to my family. If i had one complaint, very minor, it would be the size of the garbage can😂 A 30 gallon can that fits the trash bags would be way more convenient. But this definitely would not detour me from staying here again.

Awesome Trip

A little confusion during check in, however front office staff managed very efficiently. Matt was awesome with his response to our email with questions/concerns. He was at our condo within 15 minutes of sending our email. Great resolutions. The condo is extremely well equipped with starter supplies,, beach accessories and still ample cupboard space for food storage

Maui is Open

This was our fourth, and at three full weeks, our longest Maui vacation yet. It was our first time staying at Kamaole Sands, but it was our favorite place yet! The condo was very clean, the kitchen is super well equipped, and everything we needed to enjoy the beach was conveniently located in the closet on the large, and very comfortable lanai. They even had multiple pairs of snorkeling fins, and my wife and I both found a pair that fit comfortably, saving us from renting them locally. Kitchen lights were a bit confusing, we kept flipping the wrong switches because they didn’t seem to make sense, and the primary bathroom is somewhat small and dark, but these are really minor “complaints”. We loved being able to look out at the ocean, and enjoy the sun rise over our shoulders, and a portion of Haleakala, while enjoying our morning coffee, and to see families enjoying the beautiful pool area, while watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, all from the comfort of our lanai. Lastly, Kamaole Sands grounds are absolutely gorgeous, very similar to what you might expect to find at luxury hotel resorts, and everything is meticulously maintained daily! We even noticed maintenance personnel routinely cleaning the stainless steel in and around the elevator, which is truly impressive! We would absolutely stay in this condo for our next Maui vacation!

Another great Maui vacation!

Rented through PMI for the fifth time and we were extremely happy with the suite and the facility. Each unit we have rented through them has been the same high level of furnishings, pantry items, beach toys/accessories, etc. The Kamaole Sands site and the pool area in particular, is extremely well maintained and the on-site staff are very friendly and efficient. Had a minor issue with the washer/dryer this time, but the PMI folks were on it immediately and had it resolved right away. (Things are always bound to happen, it’s how they are addressed that matters!) The simplicity of dealing with the folks at PMI make the vacation completely care free from the clarity and transparency of the initial booking process, the timely information sent just before the vacation starts, the touch points and support through the stay and the easy check-out process makes them my one-stop-shop for booking our annual Maui trips. Have already booked our second visit with them for later this year for a family milestone celebration, and looking ahead at dates for 2024. Have recommended PMI to many others, with all sharing back their appreciation for the same high level of service and experience. Mahalo Matt, Tonya and their team!

Kamaole Sands Condo Rental

We enjoyed the location of the unit to the South Maui beaches and all the restaurants and shops on Kihei Road. The grounds of Kamaole Sands were extremely well kept - lush greenery, clean pools/hot tubs, and spotless outdoor grills. My son enjoyed many hours meeting many of the other families in the kids pool. The condo unit itself was in Building 2 which had a partial ocean view. It was nice being able to eat dinner on the lanai and see the sunset. We appreciated the pullout futon, air conditioning units in the bedroom and living room, all the beach gear (including beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and kids toys), and a well stocked kitchen (bowls, plates, utensils, crockpot, and coffee machine). This is an older unit which is showing it’s age, but the furnishings and decorations fit a beach theme. The unit was clean, but they should consider an alternate solution for mopping the floors as it was grimy when we initially checked in. PMI, the property manager, was very communicative and accessible. Overall, it was a good stay and we had a pleasant time at Kamaole Sands.

When we arrived, the sofa bed was already set up for our son so he could quickly jump into bed as we had a late flight into Maui. The unit was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a two week stay; we didn’t need to buy more toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing or laundry soap! The unit also had lots of beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, boogie and skim boards). The a/c kept the unit nice and cool but only the fans were needed at night. We loved the huge lanai and enjoyed our breakfasts and evenings out there. The lighting on the lanai was very dim, as with all the units. A lantern or something would’ve been a nice touch if it was allowed. Parking was very close to the building and the elevator is right outside the unit but not noisy. The grounds of Kamaole Sands are immaculate. We used the pool several times during our stay and the beach across the street was so convenient and great for kids. We enjoyed our walks along S.Kihei Road as there were many food options along the way. The only thing we noticed was that the unit seemed darker than the units my other family members stayed in. Not sure why as their suites were on the same side of the complex in the next building (same floor plan). PMI was always quick with their communication whenever I had a question. I would not hesitate to stay at this unit for our next visit to Maui!

Beautiful property, nice pool, across the street from great snorkeling/swimming beaches. It was walkable to many restaurants and plenty of gear rental opportunities of which we didn’t really need because the condo came with everything we needed for the beach! After visits to West Maui we were VERY happy we chose to stay in Kihei as West Maui is crowded with many tourists and resorts. Kihei was also much closer to visiting other attractions on the island such as the road to Hana and Haleakala crater. Overall very pleased with our stay!
