We came into town to drop off my oldest at Tulane University for the school year. This place was perfect for us! The rooms were roomy and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was a perfect size and the living room cozy for watching movies without sitting on top of each other. The house was quiet even though construction was going on all around us. The house was central to everything on NOLA! Nothing was more than a 20 minute drive away. We definitely would come back and stay here every time we’re in NOLA!
Exactly how it was pictured. Very clean, was nervous about the area after reading some other reviews - it was perfectly fine. Left my new truck parked right out front all weekend and had 0 issues. Even met some friendly folks walking by. And there is a 24/7 Burger King right across the street. Would definitely recommend it especially at such a great price
Property was very clean!! Walking distance to many shops, neighborhood was a little sketchy at first but had no issues. The host was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions that I had. Would definitely stay t this property again!
The property in New Orleans, Louisiana was exactly like the pictures show on the Vrbo site. It is very pretty and nice. The neighborhood was a little dated but no one bothered us and it was fine. Overall, our trip to New Orleans was OK.
Me and my sister go on a trip every year for my birthday. This home was amazing. Very clean and decorated beautifully. The manager was very quick to respond and check in and out was easy. I would like to go back very soon. This property is worth every dollar. We loved it.
Clean and comfortable. Our host was very good at helping or answering questions.
Bed was comfortable. Loved the kitchen.
Very tastefully furnished.
Location is very convenient for driving to all of N.O. It is in an unusual neighborhood but that’s N.O.!
This place was fantastic, we loved everything about our stay. The house was clean, felt nice and fresh and the location was so convenient. If youre new to New Orleans (like we were) you might worry about the area when you first pull up but rest assured New Orleans just looks like that, the city has been through a lot. A passing person on the street may ask you for money as youre trying to go into the house but again, they’re completely harmless and we didnt feel unsafe at all staying here. Rochelle was super responsive over text and made our stay awesome!
This is a beautiful well stocked house, however, beware of the surroundings!
I stayed one night and had to find another rental.

Thanks for renting from us. Not sure what your use to as far as culture but New Orleans is a melting pot of people of colors and religions that what makes this city so amazing. If this area was unsafe Vrbo would have shut my property down year ago but we offer a beautiful home for cheap prices but yes your correct this home is not in a million dollar suburb. Our locals are welcoming and kind!
The accommodations are lovely with quality practical amenities like laundry. The suite met my every need. It was nice to find that the surrounding area had coffee shops, shopping, gas and groceries within walking distance.
The area is a little bit sheltered with little pedestrian traffic. Next time I will bring a friend to feel a little more secure in a foreign city. Otherwise I loved it there and the host helped tremendously when I realized I hadn't booked the correct check out date. I was able to stay the extra day.
This property was very cozy once you get inside. Everything was exact as shown in the pictures. Very clean and neat! Communication with owner was an A+.
The areas for improvement is the neighborhood seems a little rough, no drive way, and it was hot in the rooms and cold in the rest of the house. 2nd bedroom did not have a closet or any mirrors.
Besides that we had a great stay.
The inside of the property was exactly as depicted in the photos and description. It was clean and had all the essentials listed. I am giving this a 4 star rating because the neighborhood was SCARY. Homeless people were walking around 24/7 and asking for money. There is a security system that is easy to use which made me somewhat relieved. I didn’t like how we had to park our car on the street in fear of someone breaking in or hitting the car. I would absolutely not feel comfortable walking in this neighborhood so I would only book if you have a car to get around in. Overall, nice inside with clean cozy cottage feel. It is easily accessible to all the main attractions if you have transportation.

We want to thank you so much for renting our beautiful brand new home. The city of New Orleans is a very cultured City and I live around the corner. We do not have any homeless people living in an area as I would immediately call 311 which takes care of any issues in the city immediately. Maybe you were just not used to culture or being in a melting pot of white, black, Hispanic, Asian and more but we thrive on the kindness of our city and neighbors. The property is located in not the best area but absolutely not the worst we’ve had this property for five years and never once had Internet not even someone trying to snoop around in anyone’s car that’s just not what our area is made of as the guest ASSUMED. Due to not being the richest neighborhood in our city the house at the time of this booking is $118 a night for a beautiful 2 bedroom home. We appreciate and understand everyone’s opinion is different. We also have a Burger King that is located across the street a Starbucks one block away and many other places that many guess would enjoy.
"Rochelle was wonderful and the property was great. What you see in the pics is exactly what you see in person. The house is so tastefully decorated, very comfortable and located on a relatively quiet street just off the main drag. It has impressive security and parking directly in front of the door.
Speaking of location, I was in NOLA for a wedding and without even realizing it, this place ended up being less than 10 minutes from the venue, the New Orleans Board of Trade. And I was also within a very short distance of food and shopping options I may have needed during my stay.
The only thing that I would mention is the lack of shelf space and towels racks in the bathroom. There's an area in from of the tub, but it was a bit small for all my toiletries, makeup, etc.
As a travel agent, I am always on the lookout for lodging options for my clients and myself. That being said, I would recommend Rochelle and this property without hesitation!! Thanks for a very positive experience."
My friend and I stayed at this home as a recovery trip from a surgery in New Orleans and it was the perfect home for it. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable to stay in. The decor was gorgeous- from the ceilings to the backsplash to the chandeliers to the claw foot bathtub, everything was beautiful. We were so thankful for the k-pods to use, the dishwasher detergent and laundry soap available, and even the bath tub had a little set up with soaps, a wine glass, and washcloths! The neighborhood didn’t feel the safest, but we chose to keep the alarm on and stay inside when we were home. I wish we had any sort of towel racks in the bathroom or bedrooms to hang hand towels and shower towels on. We also would have liked to have side tables and side lamps in the bedrooms to set phones/books on. There was cable TV with a very limited number of available channels so we used our computer to stream shows the entire trip! The host texted me back immediately regarding checkout time and was very kind! And best of all- she didn’t require any cleaning before we left! How thoughtful of those on vacation! We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting New Orleans!
