Saranac Escape is perfectly located on the East side of Saranac Lake. Walk to 7 restaurants in one direction, access the wilderness in the other. Just 8 miles from Lake Placid, it's an ideal ski lodge in the winter. The gas fireplace pumps out the heat at the flip of a switch! In the summer you're mere footsteps from Lake Flower, head of the 35 mile Saranac chain of lakes. And the kids are sure to love the pollinator friendly lawn full of monarchs! The front deck is - no guarantee - remarkably bug-free! The spacious back deck features a covered BBQ. The loons and owls are your lullaby at Saranac Escape.

Why they chose this property

We built this home in 2008 when we moved "into town." Part of a 10 acre parcel bordering the village, a rare find.

What makes this property unique

Location. Part of the village, yet bordering the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest. Close to Lake Placid, yet miles from the hustle and bustle. Walk to 8 restaurants, no traffic at home. Destination outdoor fireplace made from glacial erratics!
