Look no further for your perfect escape! Relax in this 6 fireplace, 5-bedroom house that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Saranac Lake, It is walkable to downtown, the new Rail Trail, new brewery, ski hill, skating rink, beeaches, lakes and art galleries. With 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 2 full beds, plus a gourmet kitchen, 2 screen enclosed "cure" porches, billiard and game room (complete with fussball table and giant chess set), and office there's plenty of space for everyone. Enjoy the large flagstoned patio with a 9 person hot tub spa and large campfire pit.

Off street parking for 7 cars and a large yard with yard games make the experience complete.

Amenities include plush bathrobes, a coffee station with keurig, drip coffee maker, stove top percolator and french press.

Every room displays one of a kind artwork from local artists that will inspire you. Saranac Lake has farmer's markets, outdoor music concerts, athletic events, festivals, art classes, and a plethora of outdoor activities.

Your hosts, David and Valerie Trudeau are avid hikers and are 46'ers (hiking the 46 highest mountains in NY). They are happy to share suggestions to enhance your stay.

STUNNING home with so many thoughtful amenities. The host was warm and welcoming. Even on a cold weekend, the house was cozy warm. We hope to return!(To note, just in case it is an important element for your crew: the fire pit, understandably, may not be shoveled out if there has been significant snow fall the week prior. Still plenty to do with the pool table, games, hot-tub...and plenty of indoor fireplaces to enjoy.)

We visited Saranac lake to celebrate a milestone birthday! When we travel as a family we prefer to be in a homey setting as we like to eat some meals in, play games, build puzzles and read. All of these activities were easy to engaged in at the Adirondack Artist Retreat.

Exquisite! The house has such a homey feel. The amount of artwork to look at was an added bonus. Watching deer walk through the woods while drinking coffee was an added bonus.

Big, unique property

Family get-together. Crowded house of kids/adults - but somehow still plenty of space and no shortage of things to do. Unique house. Sizeable property. Great area of town.

Perfect Family Gathering Place

We had a wonderful stay. The yard is very private, and the large parking area was great. The firepit was big enough for the ten of us to sit around with plenty of firewood provided. We also enjoyed the hot tub (nice touch with robes, towels, flip flops included) and playing cornhole. The house was very spacious. We especially liked the dining room where we could all be seated for family meals. The house is filled with amazing local artwork. We loved the collection of kaleidoscopes. Valerie, the host, was extremely warm and welcoming. We would highly recommend this property.

Very unique and homey feel to this house rental. Our family enjoyed all the rental had to offer which was accurately described. Valarie is a super host and our family (30 aged guests) loved the decor, pool room, board games, kaleidoscopes, and hot tub during record frigid temperatures. A wonderful experience was had by all.
