Pet-Friendly Lakeside Chalet with Sauna!

Welcome to Cattail Chalet, the O’Connell Cabin Co. cabin with the private wood-fired sauna on Lower Holly Lake. Built in 2019 in Stone Lake, Wisconsin, this is the stay people picture when they want the lake all day and heat in the evening.

A few things to know first:

-Parking is limited to 4 vehicles. The driveway is the only place to park, and it is not very big.
-We welcome up to 2 dogs. The pet fee is $150, and we ask that you declare pets on your reservation.
-If you are thinking of bringing your own boat, ATV, or snowmobile, get in touch so we can talk logistics. The road in is tight, and so is the driveway.

What makes Cattail Chalet different:

-Sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with a finished walk-out basement. About 2,000 square feet. The fourth bedroom is an open loft.
-The custom wood-fired sauna seats 4. The building is made almost entirely from vintage reclaimed lumber. We supply fire starters, kindling, and firewood.
-Gas fireplace on the main floor.
-Screened-in porch and a large deck looking out over 48-acre Lower Holly Lake.
-Walk-out basement with ping pong.
-Full kitchen with a center island and a dining table that seats 10.
-Watercraft: 2 adult kayaks, 2 kid kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat. This cabin does not include a fishing boat.

Location and the outdoors:
Cattail Chalet is about 10 minutes from downtown Stone Lake and about 20 minutes from Hayward. Lower Holly Lake is a small, quiet 48-acre lake for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. The cabin sits on a snowmobile and ATV route, with CAMBA trails a short drive away for bigger rides.

Also included: firewood for the fire pit, a Blackstone gas griddle, high-speed internet, Smart HDTVs, laundry, and books and games.
