A 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Denver puts you in the heart of Summit County. If you’re a ski buff, Silverthorne is the place for you since it’s convenient to 3 popular ski resorts. It’s only 10 minutes to Keystone, 15 minutes to Copper Mountain and 25 minutes to Breckenridge. Tucked into the wooded hills of Silverthorne, this lovely townhome was a delightful retreat. Each of the 4 bedrooms included a large flat screen TV. With many cable programs to choose from, the kids enjoyed their programs in their own room while the adults watched their favorite shows. Best of all, the townhome featured comfy king size beds and private baths. So bring the entire family- there’s room for everyone! We felt right at home with the well-crafted log furniture such as dining chairs and log hewn beds. Plus, we got a kick out of the leather saddle bar stools at the kitchen counter. Everything is well built and sturdy enough for even Goldilocks and don’t forget to bring Baby Bear. He’ll have his very own crib to sleep in. From hairdryers in every bathroom to plenty of kitchen appliances and cookware, this place has everything for the perfect family mountain getaway. We had a blast, and there was plenty of room for various members of our family to spread out. Clear instructions on getting there and how to use everything we needed, very clean place, and nearly everything you could want or need to have a great time (including baby gates and a pack n' play for the littlest). Was super close to Keystone for those of us who could ski, and near other amenities for those of us who couldn't. Only comment would be that some of the games could use a cleaning out/refresh. Quite a few were missing pieces, which unfortunately, made them unplayable. It certainly didn't ruin our time (especially since these were an added perk, and not expected), but it would have been fun to be able to play with everyone during the evenings. All in all, it was a 5-star stay, though, and I'd go back in a heartbeat/recommend as a great place to stay for anyone headed up the mountain.

We loved our stay! There were 11 of us total, 7 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room without being crowded. My 10 month old son loved exploring the house and playing with the lion in the living room. All of the bedrooms were nice and spacious with their own bathrooms, which was great. It was a little warm in there as there is not any air conditioning, but if you leave the windows open it cools off quite a bit. My brother and his family made good use of the hot tub every night. The water heater went out a couple times during the first 2 days of our stay so we had to keep resetting it to avoid cold showers but once I reached out to Dennis he let me know there were reported power outages which was causing the issue. After that day we didn't have any other problems with the hot water. We would definitely recommend this property and will be staying here if we return to Silverthorne!

This home is great if you have a large group of people coming up to stay! We did have issues getting into the property however. The owner did not answer messages and phone calls and we spent over an hour on the phone with VRBO who was trying to accommodate our needs. We finally received a text message with a code and instructions to sign a contract that was never emailed to us. We were finally able to get in around 8:30 p.m. There were some ants in the kitchen, but other than that it was great.

I think it is fair to point this out. The guest was sent the rental agreement and access instructions weeks in advance of the check-in.

Location was awesome- easy access to town amenities and ski resorts. Hot tub huge plus.

In floor radiant heat a bit fuzzy, even for this home builder to figure out. Different temps on different levels. We discovered the last day humidifiers were provided, you’ll need them as air is dry. This is not an isolated place, right near interstate but road noise not bad, even when outside. Trade off is easy location to get to with stores within minutes. All in all, as advertised and good space for a larger group. Hosts very helpful and courteous.

This place was exactly what it looked like in the pictures. It was roomy, comfortable, and clean. The private hot tub was fantastic! We had two families including 3 kids with us. The bedrooms are spread out between the basement floor and the third level. The kitchen was on the second (main) level. It was nice for the kids to have their own level and the adults to have their own space. My only complaint is that the house was too hot when we arrived (heat was set at 76 degrees) and there is a thermostat in every room so I lowered them all to 60. However, it took a very long time (about 12 hours) before you felt the effect, apparently due to heating coiled floors. I would definitely book this place again I'd just ask that the temp was set properly first.
