Nestled in the hill country by a 7000 acre preserve 30 minutes from Austin, Casa Mora, home for all seasons, is a tastefully decorated 3-bedroom 2 bath stone home on 2.5 acres with a secluded private pool and game room.

A perfect base to explore the energy of Austin and the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country with lakes, charming town squares, vineyards, breweries and distilleries. Or sit on the front porch or the secluded back deck with your complementary glass of wine and nature watch at your home away from home.

Casa Mora features an open floor plan: gourmet kitchen; warmly decorated living room with electric fireplace and French doors that open to outdoor patio, BBQ, eating area, outdoor fire pit, pool and expansive grounds; romantic master bedroom (queen) with electric fireplace, bath with claw foot tub and shower separated from guest bedroom (double) and office/guest (trundle with two twins). Hall bath serves both rooms.

We continually make improvements to the property: new leather couches and electric fireplace in living room; new bedding, linen and comforters in all bedrooms; electric fireplace in master bedroom; new trundle bed and desk in guest room/office; new dishes and glassware in kitchen; mosaic table imported from Morocco in outdoor dining area; newly painted porch and steps.

The quiet is exquisite. Birds and wildlife abound. The neighborhood is secure- there's only one road in and out with only occasional car traffic. Jester King Brewery and Pizza and Beerburg Brewery/restaurant are about one mile away. Many wineries, distilleries, restaurants and Texas Olive Oil Company and town of Dripping Springs are nearby.

This was our 7th stay at this property. We always enjoy the quiet setting of this location. It is a great place for anyone who wants to sit back and relax and enjoy the country. It is also close enough to Austin and Dripping Springs that you can enjoy dining out or find entertainment venues and return to a peaceful place to unwind. Mori and Rachel are great hosts and are always easily accessible if a problem arises. We will be returning again next year to get our annual dose of peace and quiet.

My wife and I enjoyed a quiet getaway at Casa Mora. The pool was a terrific escape from the hot summer. The trees around it gave some shade which was nice. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was comfortable. Hosts were easy to communicate with.

We loved the fact that this home was in a beautiful wooded area and very close to amenities in both Dripping Springs and Austin. The home itself has beautiful acid washed and stained concrete floors throughout. It’s perfect for a home with a pool. Speaking of the pool, the pool was very clean, a nice size, and a portion of the pool always was shaded, which is very nice. The kids loved the playroom until they got schooled by the old guy at ping pong lol! Loved the single story layout as well as it had easy access to the yard and wonderful outdoor area. We had a great stay and highly recommend this place as it is family friendly as well. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch!

This place was great. It’s nice a peaceful and we had a great trip. The pool is in the shade for a lot of the day but was still plenty warm. There are horseflies around the pool, but the battery powered Thermacell Mosquito Repellent that I brought made that much less of an issue and we enjoyed many hours floating out there. The house is also conveniently located near some grocery stores, restaurants, and things to do. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location

We have enjoyed each of our summer stays at casa mora. The location is great just outside of Austin, quiet, peaceful and close enough for an easy drive into town. The pool is a plus for the hot summer days.

It was peaceful and we had everything we needed. The pool was amazing, and our time spent there was wonderful. We saw some deer and felt completely safe nestled among the trees.

In response to the issues addressed: As soon as we learned of the leaky puddle behind the refrigerator, we replaced it with a new unit. Other puddles were a result of catastrophic weather causing extreme flooding and rain in the area. As soon as we learned our cleaners had not made the home ready (something that has never happened), they went out, cleaned the home and washed all towels and linen. This is a country home that we proudly maintain for ourselves and guests as reflected in 206 reviews and an Exceptional 9.8 rating. We have been hosts for sixteen years and will continue to offer a beautiful environment to all our guests.

Quiet spot close to the city

This is our second stay and it was just as wonderful! The pool is perfect and the backyard is so quiet. It’s only 10 minutes to several food choices, and 20-30 minutes into Austin for other things to do.

Good place right outside Austin
