Perfect Off Season Family Vacation Beach House

Spent a great off-season week here. The weather was still beautiful beach weather. The sunsets didn't disappoint. And this house was the perfect spot to bring the family together for our grandson's first trip to Jersey Shore. It's located within walking distance to a lot of our favorite spots including Northside Grill, Wally's, Surf City Hotel, Scojos, and the Big Dipper. There were a lot of beds to sleep a lot more people than we had which makes the rooms a little tight on space. But, who spends time in their bedroom when you are on LBI, especially when you have a backyard and a "barage" (including an icemaker and kegerator) like this house. And the house was well equipped for any kind of crowd - washer/dryer, bikes, big dinning table for family game nights, and a very nice outdoor shower. Who doesn't love an outdoor shower after a day at the beach? Hoping our schedules can work out to make room for another stay here next year.

Great holiday gathering family spot!

This house has a fabulous outside area for congregating. Very well stocked kitchen for cooking family meals (beyond a usual rental expectation!!!). Beds are VERY comfortable and well stocked shed for games and toys! The host goes without saying is very accommodating and truly cared about our experience and needs. Outstanding!

Excellent property; All you need

We needed to be on LBI for a wedding During these strange Covid times. 218 N 20th St was the best. The house was perfect for our family. A bedroom and full bath on the ground floor then 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs gave everyone the space they needed. The beds were very comfortable. And then some! The living room, dining room and kitchen accommodated us plus other family members who stayed for meals. The backyard was inviting. Lots of seating and things to do. We enjoyed using the kayak in the Bay which was at the end of the street. About 5 houses away. Charles and Meghan had everything we needed for our stay. We couldn’t have felt more welcomed - the bottle of wine they left for us was appreciated after our long car trip. We will definitely be back.

Amazing accommodation and location!

This house has it all. Fully stocked and equipped kitchen (great b/c we had to stay inside and cook at home a lot for almost 3 weeks) A beautiful backyard and deck with lots of comfy outdoor furniture and even an outdoor fireplace - which we used often since it was still cool at night when we stayed. Great for making S'mores with the kiddos too! Chuck was super accommodating with our requests as well, and had a lot of child friendly things available for us to use in the house (high chair / pack n' play / beach toys, etc) Also, the house is more beautiful in person than in the pictures - so don't hesitate to stay here!

THE PERFECT HOME!!!

My goodness, where do I start?! First, the owners, Chuck and Megan, were all you could ever want in owners and more. They immediately responded to our questions, left a detailed information packet including everything we should know about the home, and made check in and check out SO simple. They are absolutely wonderful. Above all, this home had EVERYTHING we could possibly need for an extended stay. We walked into the home and all of us smiled. This house has everything! I’m talking sheets, towels, TP, sunblock, body wash, shampoo, a washer and dryer, grill, bikes, a FULLY stocked kitchen, tons of toys and games for the whole family, cable TV and a Roku TV, a fire pit area, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and enough indoor and outdoor furniture to accommodate a HUGE group. We were a smaller group of 7 due to two of our group being unable to come and I barely saw my children! Lol. So much to do. And we love to kayak and were told to enjoy the use of their kayaks as well. That was so wonderful and almost made me cry because we love to kayak and the bay is beautiful. It was just icing on the cake. It was nice to be trusted with such a beautiful home and we took care to leave it that way. We plan on coming back! Also, we were maybe two houses from the bay and a block or so from the beach. I couldn’t find a better rental location on the island and I researched for days! This was the one. The daily rate was awesome, the location was absolutely perfect for beach lovers like us, full of little shops and restaurants, AND the house was clean, gorgeous, and ridiculously cozy! The beds... wow. We’ve made beautiful family memories this week that will last us a lifetime. What more can I say... we’ll be back.
