Aloha and welcome to the Hale Anna, Maui. The Hale Anna is a beautiful, private home located across a quiet street from miles of sandy beach. This home is a legal grandfathered vacation rental with the Maui County Department of Planning. The vacation rental is located on the upper floor of a two-story home with ocean and territorial views, including Haleakala. This rental has three bedrooms and a swimming pool. The home will comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests (including children).

The house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a standard king bed, the second bedroom has a California king bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin-size beds. The main living area is open and contains a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and living room. Large decks face the ocean and Haleakala, plus contain an outdoor eating area with stainless BBQ. You can watch the sun both rise and set. AC is installed in the main living area (which includes the third bedroom) and 2 back bedrooms.

There is an amazing private pool and deck. There is ample seating and lounge chairs. The deck has been finished with beautiful TREX decking.

The home is located in a residential neighborhood. This property is perfect for families. The quiet hours on Maui County are from 9pm - 8am, this home is not a party home but perfect for families.

-Maximum occupancy is 6 guests (including children).

-QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM-8AM (POOL HOURS 9AM-8PM): The Hale Anna is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and guests must be aware and respectful of neighboring properties at all times. Noise carries at night and although guests are on vacation, our neighbors are not. Please be sure that ALL the members of your group are aware of the quiet hours and will be able to comply BEFORE booking this property.

The home is fully equipped, and you will enjoy the on-site caretakers that live in the separate caretaker apartment on the first floor of the home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for our family of 5. The place was just as advertised. It was a great location close to many stores and restaurants. Wonderful Time in Kihei

We enjoyed our stay at Amber and Jeremy's place. They were able to accommodate an early check in and we were very comfortable for our 1 week stay and enjoyed the pool and beach nearby. We hope to return soon.

This was our third trip to Kihei and by far our best rental experience. Our group of six (including a 2 and 4 year old) loved our week spent here. Hosts were awesome, and were able to accommodate an early check-in for us—which was a huge bonus traveling with two littles. The house was also well stocked including lots of towels, a travel crib, and all you need for a fun day at the beach (chairs, toys, umbrellas, etc). The location is awesome. You’re close to a lot in Kihei, and can easily get around to major roads that can get you to wherever you’re wanting to explore on Maui. The beach is an easy two minute walk away, which was perfect for catching sunset each night. But by far the highlight for us was the private pool area. We spent every afternoon here, and it felt like our own little private oasis. The kids loved being in the pool each day, and you just can’t beat the peace that comes with having it all to yourself. The only note for those traveling with kids, is that the smaller bedroom with the two beds does not have floor-to-ceiling walls (they’re a couple feet short on two sides) and so sound travels between it and the living room area. By no means did it negatively impact our trip since we traveled with our kids’ sound machines, but just something worth noting for families. All-in-all this is a great rental, and one we’ll be looking for next time we return to Maui.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Kihei house. Our kids loved having their own pool and we spent hours out there everyday. The house was in a great location, everything was very clean and well taken care of. The host was very responsive when we messaged. Overall a great place to stay!

Another great vacation

Fantastic 2 week stay!

We arrived shortly after a substantial rain storm that flooded the area. Amber and her family worked hard to clean up and by the time we arrived we could barely notice the area was recently flooded. The house was great, but the pool area was the highlight. Amazing to have a private pool area like that steps from the beach. Our family spent hours in it every day. Thanks for the great stay and we hope to return .

Perfect stay in Maui

The house and the pool area is absolutely amazing. The house is next to thr beach where you can swim and watch the turtles coming out every evening. The appartement is very well equipet and Amber and her family are very nice host. Would come again.

The perfect place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was spacious and comfortable - perfect for our family of 5. There are gorgeous views from the front (where you can see and hear the ocean!) and the back (where you can enjoy sunrises over the mountain). The beach is even closer than I had realized, and we loved walking there every evening to watch the sunset and the turtles that come to shore. The pool area is beautiful as well. All in all, this was the perfect place for our family’s Maui vacation!

Lovely location and perfect for families

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It has everything. Very clean and location is ideal. Short walks to close restaurants and parks. We found drives to North, South, West, and Central Maui appropriate and not too long. Beautiful yard and pool. Jeremy and Amber were great host. We enjoyed sunsets on the balcony every evening. We highly recommend and will return in future.

A Slice of Paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Kihei home. There were views from every window—Haleakala (out back), corridor views of the ocean (in front) and tropical plants from all other windows. The beach was a super short walk down the road and it was a great place to spot turtles during the day and watch the sunset in the evening. The place was immaculate, and Amber was super responsive. I’d definitely stay again.

Maui Paradise

Vacationed with our two kids and my father. Absolutely amazing place to stay. We’ve stayed in many rentals and this one takes the cake by far. You’re lucky to rent it if you get the chance. Well stocked, clean, close to everything including beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Phenomenal hosts, private and beautiful setting, pool was amazing and the beach walks were beautiful. Amazing Vaxation!

What a wonderful place to vacation. The house was perfect for us. Although one bathroom it is large and very well appointed so accommodated us easily. Three bedrooms were very comfortable. Great location - easy to access all Maui has to offer. Private beach directly across the quiet residential steeet. Beautiful and private pool and amazing owners who are very hospitable and responsive. We will definitely be back!!!!

Wonderful Vacay Getaway

The place was as advertised. Clean and spacious. Pool was secluded and private. Tons of cooking items. Tons of beach towels. Beach chairs. Air conditioning worked great. Very quiet neighbourhood. Another amazing vacation…

This was our second stay at the Hale Anna, and it certainly won’t be our last. Once again, the property was perfect. During this stay, another couple joined us, and the house offered plenty of room for our group of four adults. You can’t beat the location and the amenities. The pool is fantastic and completely private. The beach is great, especially during sunset. It was so nice having beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas available for use during the days that we spent exploring other parts of the island. Amber and Jeremy are great hosts, and it’s nice to have them close by for help/recommendations, etc. We look forward to booking this property again sometime soon. Highly recommended!

Aloha! We are the Peterson family! This amazing home was purchased in the late 70's by our family. We have been running the upstairs unit as a vacation rental for over 30+ years. A member of our family has been lucky enough to call the separate downstairs caretaker unit home the entire time. For the last 16 years my husband (Jeremy) and I (Amber) have lived on the property and don't have any plans of every leaving. Jeremy is a local contractor and I am a property manager. We love living on Maui and sharing a piece of our paradise!

Why they chose this property

The home and property have been meticulously maintained over the years. Most guests say "the photos don't do it justice"! The private pool and spacious upstairs are perfect for a Maui getaway. The location is amazing as well. The beach access is just across the quiet residential street. The beach is great for morning and sunset walks. You can walk in either direction for miles... and most visits you will be lucky to see Honu (sea turtles) resting on shore. Also less than a 5 minute walk you are in the Azeka Shopping Centers. There are many great restaurants and shops, including Nalu's South Shore Grill with amazing food and evening live music.
