Bienvenido a Sterling Shores 303

Déjame contarte sobre esta belleza de playa en Sterling Shores. Primero déjame darte el "411" en Sterling Shores. Cuando llaman a una piscina una piscina de laguna que significa "GRANDE" y esta es grande y media. Son 4,300 pies cuadrados, pero eso es solo el comienzo. Han colocado todo tipo de exuberantes plantas tropicales y árboles alrededor de la piscina. Incluso hay una piscina para niños allí. Pero eso es solo el comienzo, mire más allá de la piscina y verá lo que buscó en primer lugar. Hermosa playa de arena blanca que parece azúcar y aguas verde esmeralda que se extienden hasta donde alcanza la vista.

Lo bueno de Sterling Shores es que hay mucho más que solo la playa y la piscina. Hay una sala de fitness completamente equipada, una sala de cine, alquiler de DVD, una parrilla de barbacoa de gas junto a la piscina, actividades para niños y mucho más.

Este lugar lo tiene funcionando desde el momento en que entras por la puerta. La entrada es lo suficientemente grande como para estacionar tus juguetes de playa, chanclas y palos de golf. Y el lugar está decorado muy bien. He puesto algunas fotos aquí para que puedan ver. Basta con mirar el comedor. Mesa grande si quieres comer. (con todos los excelentes restaurantes que probablemente no tengas) La sala de estar también es muy cómoda. ¡Mira ese centro de entretenimiento! Tiene un gran televisor, con un DVD, puedes ver tus películas favoritas si estás en la playa. O puede navegar por Internet porque tenemos alta velocidad por todas partes aquí.

El dormitorio principal tiene esta gran cama king size. Es un póster de cuatro y es una belleza. Además, hay un baño privado con una bañera de jardín que es todo tuyo. La decoración está realmente atenuada para que pueda relajarse en esta habitación. Tiene mucho espacio de guardarropas para todas tus cosas. Usted recibe el paquete de cable completo en la televisión como en la sala de estar. Incluso puedes navegar por la web desde aquí.

El SEGUNDO MAESTRO tiene una cama queen muy cómoda y un montón de espacio para todo lo que has traído a la playa. La televisión también tiene el paquete de cable. Los baños son un poco más pequeños pero tienen todo lo que necesitas. Navega por la web desde aquí también.

El TERCER DORMITORIO es una suite amigable para los niños con cómodas camas individuales y área suficiente para que los niños se pierdan por un tiempo.

Great location, easy access to everything

This was our 6th trip to Destin and first stay at Sterling Shores but won’t be our last. Condo was super clean, had a view of the beach and gulf and you could hear all the sounds from the balcony. Easy to get to restaurants if you want to walk or drive. Attractions are close Easy access to private beach and poolYou can’t go wrong staying here.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great vacation! The pool, grill area, and the easy beach access made the property enjoyable. The condo was clean with everything we could have possibly needed. Communication was quick and very hassle free.

Comfortable Condo

The condo has three comfortable bedrooms that accommodated my family of six very nicely. The condo was clean with plenty of towels, pillows and the essentials to clean dishes. They even had a few games and books in the tv cabinet. The property has two pools and access to the beautiful emerald coast beach. We look forward to visiting again.

The pictures that are posted are older. The condo has been painted and upgraded. Great place to stay and very convenient to everything. Did not know they had two pools until arrival. Very clean and accommodating.

Nice place. Good location.

Check in was great, place was nice, but was given the wrong gate code, the garbage disposal didn’t work and the bathroom sink was clogged, but maintenance fixed those very quickly. Bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags. Overall, we were very happy and had a wonderful stay.

Location is GREAT. There was a quaint, hominess to the condo. It was inviting and comfortable. View from the balcony was super. Especially during the morning and evening sunset. Looking out at the gulf was a wonderful experience. I only had one issue. In the bedroom with the full size bed...there were small ant like bugs crawling on the dresser. If that issue is taken care of...I would definitely rent there again.

Awesome unit for the price.

Overall this unit is a steal. The view is not bad for a third floor unit. Great size inside with a large balcony. The unit was clean and well cared for. There were approximately 12 remotes in the living room, only one seemed to do anything. Which more than anything comical, but frustrating the few times we did actually attempt to watch tv. (never could figure out living room t.v.). Would be an easy fix if addressed.

Our stay at Sterling Shores

The condo has a bug problem. We had them on the floor and they got into one of our boxes of food. The curtains in the master bedroom are falling off of the rods. I called the after hours number and never received a call back, I felt like we were on our own with no help. I feel like for the price that we have to pay things could have been a little bit cleaner and taken care of. We love the location and the resort. We plan on staying there again, however we may not rent through VRBO.

This condo was no was no what we expected

We expected a lazy river pool. The condo was very dirty. The master bathtub was gross. When I filled it up it had black stuff all it that came out of the vents. They didn’t have xtra toilet paper. Only had the one on rolls and not even new rolls. There was not a plunger. The couches smelt musty. The master closet smelt musty. I wouldn’t place my clothes in the closet. I travel all over the world and this is the worst experience I have stayed in. I much rather have stayed in a hotel.

Wonderful location

Great location and this unit is well-equipped with kitchen dishes. Communication prior to and for check-in was problematic. The man downstairs, who apparently wasn’t in charge of my booking, was rude and angry that I would even ask for help. It seems like there should be ONE management system for the property with an on-site representative. Once I finally got in contact with the right property manager, she was helpful and pleasant; however, how to contact needs to be clarified for visitors. We love the location and beach, but again information regarding chairs/umbrellas seemed unorganized and based on tips. There should be a number to call or streamlined online booking for chairs or perhaps included with the units. The unit itself is nice and the beach can’t be beat. Better organization and communication on site by management would make the experience more pleasant and consistent.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED

We stayed here from 7/27 through 7/31. I sent the owner THREE MESSAGES leading up to our trip, yes THREE; never got a single response from them (have yet to hear from them). Had several questions regarding the facilities and accommodations. When we arrived (with a family of eight) the oven didn't work. The reason we rented a condo was so we could cook the majority of our meals there and not have to eat out mult times each day. Again, we could not get ahold of anybody. After day three we finally spoke to the property manager and were told we were essentially out of luck with getting the oven fixed/replaced. They refunded us two hundred dollars for meals. You can imagine how far two hundred dollars will feed a party of eight in a town like Destin. Needless to say, there are so many accommodations available on VRBO to choose from, KEEP LOOKING!! If you have an issue with the accommodations etc, you are not going to be able to get a response, will be out of pocket on additional expenses. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!! KEEP LOOKING!!!!!

Sterling Shores 303: Rumors of its demise are greatly exaggerated

I was a little apprehensive about 303 based on the (dated) reviews here but this place was great. the space was perfect for our family (4 kids). super easy access to the beach and the back porch, if that's your thing. There were plenty of dishes and towels for the stay and the in-unit w/d was pretty new and worked well. The space was great, but a few things brought the score to 4 stars: 1. little things just need to be addressed to be 5 star such as..there's no screen on the main screen door (from the living room) to the balcony so although the bugs aren't terrible, you can't leave the door open all the time and frankly the sliding glass door is heavy for kids. The unit also has a LOT of fake plants and these fake plants need to be dusted (or thrown away). the couch and leather seats are just old and the patio furniture is run down. there's also a lot of family photos in the house which is just odd, I think. as far as the resort goes. the big pool is impressive but obviously you can't swim there in the spring. Sterling Shores heated pool was fine for the afternoon swim as long as you got there before the meatheads started drinking too much and dancing, that's when it was time to get out. I think the security guy wanted to do something but he just let them party. Location was great if you needed to run out, very convenient to everything and also very close to the amusement park for bigger kids. we did see some dolphins so that was cool. Final Verdict: rent this place. for the value and location you can't beat it and we would stay here again if we come back to Destin.

Great Resort - Condo TERRIBLE

I have stayed at Sterling Resorts since it was opened - this is by far the WORST condo that we have ever stayed in. It's like the owners want to own a condo but they do not want to maintain it. it was dirty - not dirty like the housekeeping wasn't doing their job, just dirty like neglected - curtains, baseboards, shower tile - nasty and worn. No pot holders, no cookie sheets,- but there are at least 4 cork screws for wine - two back burners on the stove top don't work and all the burners are lopsided and heat unevenly luckily we had friends in 214 (WHICH WAS A BEAUTIFUL, WELL MAINTAINED CONDO) and we were able to use their stove when we all ate meals together the couch sags in the middle - I was told it had just been replaced, it was apparently replaced with a used couch. In the master bedroom the big walk-in closet is used as the owners old furniture storage - old dressers, shelves, etc. littered the whole closet. Beds are worn and uncomfortable - front bedroom has no ceiling fan and because it is so packed with furniture there is no circulation so you can't even use the room because it's so hot. The kitchen drawers are stained and dirty. Also there are about 5 remotes for the living room and NO BATTERIES or backs for any of them - I had to purchase batteries and then figure out which remote belonged to what - same for the master bedroom - I have never had to purchase batteries for a remote - also toilet stopped up at least once a day and the master bathroom sink drained so slow that every time I brushed my teeth I had to plunge and and all the black silt came up until it cleared. I would not recommend this condo to anyone - again, Sterling Shores is a great, great complex and most owners have pride and want to/are able to take care of their property, - these owners clearly just want rental income.

Very miss leading, not a honest disclosure

Unit full of cockroaches, furniture in bad need of repair (replaced) beds, chairs, kitchen appliances. TV & or remote not working. All in all a nasty unit 👎👎👎

Great location but too many cockroach

Great location, easy access to beach and restaurants. What we don’t enjoy is that there are too many cockroaches at the condo that we stayed in. They are everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, it was a lot and was pretty terrifying! We are not going to return!
