Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Plus Suite with onsite Front Desk and Staff

The extra space in this 2nd floor Balcony Suite Plus is well used by the queen Murphy bed in the living room area. This is the perfect suite for a family of four or even five if necessary. The queen bed in the Murphy bed cabinet is a beauty rest mattress and is just as comfortable as a regular queen bed. The sofa can still have someone sleeping on it as a sofa when the Murphy bed is in use. The view from the balcony or the 37" flat screen TV can be enjoyed either from the sleeper sofa or the Murphy bed and makes sleeping in the living room most enjoyable. The full kitchen and separate area for the kitchen table are necessary when you have a larger family and just as appreciated when there is only a couple. The bathroom has been recently updated with a new tub including grab bar. The private bedroom has the king bed and a standard TV. This 2nd Floor king suite will not allow a pet, so it just might be the perfect suite for you! NO PETS ALLOWED

This was our 2nd time staying at Beacher’s Lodge. This unit was larger than the one we previously stayed in. Easy access to the beach whether you’re walking or driving.

Rusted appliances and bath tub. Pealing pain. Door to the patio so rusted it was hard to move and it didn’t even close completely. Even the toilet paper holder was broken and several cooking pans had broken handles.

We rented a room with a murphy bed this time instead of a sleeper sofa, and that is definitely the way to go. Much more comfortable than a sleeper sofa. The best thing about Beacher’s are the employees. The lobby staff is always super nice and so are the housekeeping employees. We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve stayed in several units and each one is different. Unit 222 was very spacious compared to other units. Loved the Murphy bed vs sofa bed. Was not happy with limited cable channels and never got the few apps to work on TV. I did call office and was provided reason for limited channels but still disappointed. Loved the new keyless entry. Definitely will return to Beachers Lodge.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay here all of the time. We try a different room everytime we come. It is definitely our go to place to stay and I highly recommend. In this review I am going to talk about this trip specifically. This room was fine, but it wasn’t one of the best rooms that we’ve stayed in here. The main door wouldn’t lock from the inside, however, the maintenance guy came twice, once to try and fix it when we weren’t there and then again when we got back to explain why the door wouldn’t lock and how it wouldn’t be an easy fix so it would have to be fixed at another time when no one was staying there. The cover on the ac unit kept falling off and the maintenance guy fixed it immediately. The hotel staff were amazing. I woke up the next day to a $100 refund for my trouble with the room. I didn’t even ask for that, they just refunded it. Any issues I had they were always friendly and very helpful.

Otherwise the rental could use some attention. There were exactly three forks available, the no stick frying pan was scratched (& no longer "no stick"), the little handle on the lid for the cooking pot had melted off, the chair was stained, fridge door rusty, etc. Not looking for fancy but some new utensils/cookware & an overall freshening would make the inside more inviting.

The toilet didn’t flush very well, one of the TV remotes didn’t work, the furniture was old and dirty. The location itself was great and has a great view of the ocean. Other rooms were nicer.
