This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests never want to leave the balcony with its top-floor view of the Atlantic Ocean, the beach, and the oceanfront swimming pool. Inside, the living area has a new queen sleeper sofa and new dinette table and chairs. If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access, flat-screen cable TV with HD channels, and a smart DVD player. The compact kitchenette has a small smooth-top stove, microwave, refrigerator, and Mr Coffee-style coffeemaker, and is stocked with plates/glasses, pots/pans, and utensils. Relax in the bedroom with a king bed with a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway and flat-screen cable TV with HD channels. Linens and towels provided.

Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Minimum age to rent this condo is 25. Small to medium dog allowed with prior approval and additional pet cleaning fee.

Property had light bulbs out and all remotes needed new batteries; bed was very comfortable; view was spectacular. Whole unit needs a little "TLC." Looked shopworn. Sofa was uncomfortable - sagging springs. Won't be back.

Wonderful beach stay

I didn't have a car and while I could walk to a convenience store, pizza place and ice cream bar, a car is needed, so they should not say a car is not needed in the ad.

We gobbled up the beach!

Thanksgiving is usually an "at home" experience but this year we decided to head for the beach. Place was perfect for us, 2 adults and a small dog. Pool was amazing. Beach view from balcony even more so. Condo could be brought into the 20th century but overall very pleasant.

Great ocean view getaway

We have already referred this condo to family. My only suggestion would be better lighting in LR for reading in evening, and a chair height toilet for those of us with limitations.

Right on the beach

One of the ac units leaked, but we were able to use a towel to keep it under control.

Not good!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach and location are perfect. The condo sadly was not. It was not clean. Furnishings were all old and uncomfortable, including the patio furniture. The air conditioning quit on our second night there. When It wasn't fixed 24 hours later I asked for and received a refund for one half of our stay.

Beautiful Views & The Most Comfortable Bed

Loved this cute little beachy condo. The view of the beach from the balcony was stunning. Great spot to sit back and enjoy that morning cup of coffee. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of quality towels, linens, blankets and pillows provided. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Easy access to the beach and the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view

Very close to the beach with a fantastic view (as the picture accurately attests). The overall place was nice and so was the condo. Truly no complaints. It is a bit dated, but that is not a complaint, just an observation. We had a great time and would gladly stay here again if we find ourselves wanting to come back to St. Augustine.

Beautiful Crescent Beach Condo

The view from the balcony is priceless. We loved being able to walk to the beach everyday. The condo has everything one would need for a nice stay. Sunrise every morning was spectacular! Listening to the waves crash all day/night was amazing. Although the pool is right below us, it closes early and did not disturb us at all. It was a quick ride into historic downtown. We even took an Uber one night when we both wanted to enjoy libations! Fabulous location and we will be back!! Host was very responsive to any questions. Great first VRBO experience for us! Thank you!!

Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Beacher's Lodge numerous times, and this was the least enjoyable. The furniture in the living was very uncomfortable, the tiny little table to eat on was just not useable, and the tall furniture on the balcony totally obscured our view of the beach. When we went to open a kitchen cabinet the knob fell right off. The bed was comfortable, but that's about the only good thing I have to say. We'll probably stay at Beacher's again in the future, but I would NOT stay in this unit again.

Weekend get away

Very nice and clean cute place. Close to historic St. Augustine. The view from the balcony just beautiful and at nite the sounds of the wave so peaceful. Definitely would stay again
