Built in 1855 as the Original Schoolhouse in Murphys, then remodeled to the highest standard, we welcome you to stay and enjoy the very best Murphys has to offer!

This home is charming and cozy and so perfect for a Murphy’s get-away. The location couldn’t be more convenient with easy walking to all the fun things on Main St. The beds are comfortable, the towels are fluffy and the best part is there’s plenty of room to hangout with friends and have meals or play games & visit. The property owners are easy to communicate with and are wonderful people. We love this place!

The host was very accommodating. The house is spacious, our 2 sons and their families stayed there for Thanksgiving. It was walking distance from our home in town so grandsons could come visit on their own. Would definitely rent again.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. We loved being able to walk back and forth from shopping, wine tasting, and restaurants with ease. Plenty of hot water and pressure for nice showers. Would definitely book again in the future.

Murphys Original School House - Fabulous House

The house is charming and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable, just a 2-minute walk to downtown Murphys. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are always responsive and pleasant to work with.
