Nice in Spring

My only reservation about this property is the impersonal online concierge service. I would have preferred to have had a person meet me there and explain how to work things rather than use a chatbox. I had issues getting the cooker working so had to stay with a friend on the first night. On the second night I asked for more bedding because I was cold, but was told they could not provide me with this so I had to sleep with a fleece on! The only bedding was a thin sheet and a thin cover, which was not sufficient for April, a duvet should have been provided. The apartment was well situated in the old town, but attention to the above issues would have made my stay more comfortable.

Bien placé, bien équipé, mais bruyant

Un petit studio très bien rénové, bien situé au coeur de la vieille ville, à 2 pas de la promenade des anglais et du centre-ville, avec tout l'équipement nécessaire à un séjour de plusieurs jours. Points positifs : Draps et linge de toilette, torchons, liquide vaisselle fournis. Entouré de beaucoup de commerces (restaurants, bars, autres boutiques) dont de très bonnes adresses. Possibilité de tout faire à pieds : sentier du littoral, parcs et jardins, accès au tram, bus et à plusieurs parkings. Point négatifs : Pour le lit, une simple couverture toute fine était fournie et ce n'était clairement pas suffisant pour un mois d'avril, même à Nice. Une couette à disposition dans les placards aurait été appréciable. En plein coeur de la vieille ville donc accès à pieds uniquement, attention à ne pas prendre trop de bagages. Les immeubles sont côte à côte dans les petites ruelles de la vieille ville, ce qui rend l'appartement très sombre en journée. Pas de rideau occultant pour la nuit ce qui laisse passer la lumière des lampadaires (plus lumineux la nuit que le jour). L'escalier des communs donne directement sur la rue et tous les bruits des restaurants et bars s'entendent beaucoup jusque tard dans la nuit. Le studio est situé juste au dessus du local poubelles utilisé par plusieurs commerçants du coin donc souvent bruyant, y compris la nuit ou le matin très tôt lors du ramassage des poubelles.

Mitten in der Altstadt

Schönes kleines Appartement inmitten der wunderschönen Altstadt von Nizza. Die kleine Küche ist mit allem, was benötigt wird, ausgestattet. Unzählige hervorragende Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
