The lake breeze is located on Manhattan dr a quite street in the heart of downtown Kelowna. All amenities are near by (including shopping, restaurants, golf courses, wineries, yacht club, Casino & night life... you name it)

Our LAKE FRONT rustic home has a shallow sandy beach safe for children and a small public park next door.

Come and enjoy a relaxing evening with a glass of wine on the dock while watching the sunset.

The space
This large private 3 bed, 1 bath private suite has onsite parking, washer dryer and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need.

Every room is filled with lots of natural light and large windows that open up to let that amazing lake breeze blow in. The space has 14’ vaulted ceilings in the master, living & dinning area.

Wake up in the master bed to the beautiful view of the Okanagan Lake... one of the most sot-out views in the city!!!

The large living room has a 70” TV along with board games

The dinning room is large and bright and the table sits 6 easily.

The home has 2 private decks that over look the lake and has a large fenced backyard with large lounge & BBQ area.

Our unique space is set up for comfort and relaxation! My husband and I live onsite part time in a completely separate suite but rest assured you will have complete privacy in your home.

Enjoy all the Okanagan has to offer at our Lake breeze home!! Great spot for biking down on the boardwalk, walking along the lake, hiking Knox mountain park or talking a stroll down trendy Bernard Ave. The location does not get better!!!

We loved this stay. Our hosts were amazing to work with. We loved we could walk everywhere downtown we also so enjoyed being able to swim right off the dock. The beds were so comfortable and property was so clean thank you your property was perfect.

The property location is excellent within walking distance to downtown. Being right on the water front makes for exceptional views. Lots of things to do in the area with Knox Mountain park just a few minutes away. Excellent hiking trails! Even the deer liked the sandy beach area right next door.

Great location

This location is super accessible to downtown and a true bonus to have beach access. The home has old charm and lots of space and the sauna was a bonus.

Excellent location

We were attending an event at Prospera place, it is a quick 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk. Views are fantastic and even though some of the space could be upgraded (bathroom), it is still such a great property to be in. The communication was excellent and Tonya was as so quick to reply with questions and help. Fantastic. Compared to a hotel, you can’t beat a place like this for comfort and homeliness.

A Fantastic Lakefront Vacation

We had the most incredible time staying at Lake Breeze! Kari and Dave could not be more accomodating hosts, and really made us feel welcome. The property is absolutely beautiful. If we hadn't pre-booked a wine tour, we probably wouldn't have left! Take me back...

Amazing host and very cozy place

We loved the place. My husband and I work way too much but we able to do some work and still enjoy our time with kids. We loved the proximity to water, evening breeze and walking distance to downtown. The place is a bit older and rather modest in finishes but the host is very responsive and she can add anything you might be missing.

Lakefront Getaway in the City

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Kelowna. The host is very quick to respond, accommodating for an early check in and answered all my questions very quickly. The location is perfect- 5 stars for sure. You have direct access to the dock and lake, 15 walk into downtown on a lovely lakefront path and a short drive to the vineyards in West Kelowna. Beautiful sunset views! The property was very clean and we were very comfortable for our stay. Some of the listing pictures are not accurate, most notably the cover photo of the dock with the colourful chairs- the dock has 2 grey chairs which you see when you scroll through the listing photos; some of the photos also show umbrellas, which aren’t there either. The kitchen has been remodeled as well and some of the appliances are not the same as in the pictures. None of these affected our stay, and we both agreed that we would recommend.

Very wonderful location; easy walk to downtown parks and museums, but off in a residential Neighborhood. It is next to a small park; it was fun to watch kids play on the beach in the afternoons. Slightly funky house - remodeled downstairs, so it has 3br but only 1 bath - no biggy, and the rooms are nice if a bit cramped. We fit fine, though (me, spouse, sister, and parents). Was a very enjoyable trip - and a bunch of that was the house.

Amazing lake front stay

Photos don’t do this wonderful place justice! You have your own private dock and front garden that looks over the lake with a fire pit. Beds are comfy, kitchen well stocked and living room great to cozy up inside. Tonya was easy to communicate with and provided a fantastic place to stay for a girls weekend. Tonya also let us have a late check out so we could relax by the lake while we waited for our flight. 25min walk to downtown Kelowna. Totally recommend! Thank you :)

Great family vacation

The location was perfect. It’s only a short distance to the downtown marina and Bernard Ave. My kids loved playing in the lake, but the access isn’t great for younger children. It’s a long drop down from the dock and property to the water. There is no beach area at the property like some of the other houses in the area, but there is a public beach right next door. It’s an eclectic house that could use a Reno and some TLC but it has everything you need for your vacation.

The perfect family vacation

We loved our time here. My husband, our girls and I stayed here for 3 nights and would love to stay longer. It was clean and comfortable and an amazing property right on the water. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning, playing and resting in the backyard, and swimming in the lake all day. The house is definitely rustic but it’s clean and the beds and furniture are comfortable. There’s no beach on the property and the water access isn’t ideal, a freestanding ladder beside the dock, but it works great and the water is clean and clear. Our host was quick to reply to us. The photos aren’t up to date, some of the outdoor furniture and umbrellas aren’t there. But again we were more than comfortable. Thank you for the great stay!

Great location

We had a good time. The house is old but we new that. Some of the patio furniture was in bad shape and there is only a removable step ladder to get in the water from the dock. The dock is too high to moore a boat properly. They need bbq utensils and oven mitts. The listing said beach towels provided but there were none and the house rules said do not bath towels outside.Other then that we had fun but I feel it was over priced for the property. The location and coffee on the dock made up for any short comings.

Beware!! Although this property looks amazing on VRBO the pictures are very misleading half the kitchen counters and cupboards were missing there was a different fridge in the corner the ice maker didn’t work they did have ice trays in freezer but they were very dirty and stained The floors are very uneven and soft the house has a overwhelming smell mold/mildew in some areas was really noticeable on our last few days once’s the fabric softener,cleaning chemicals dissipated both decks have nails sticking up and can cause injuries if not wearing foot wear the BBQ is located right beside/under a tree the leaves were burning when using and some debris falling on our food while using it should be move into a better location like it was showed on VRBO site the pictures are probably at least 10 years outdated compared to what’s showed on VRBO Caution!! The Boat lift is in rough condition stick holding in safety switch and the carpet is half missing on the rails it was extremely noisy and lacking maintenance was told by host it’s rated for 5500lbs and fits a 23 foot boat our boat weighs 2620lbs and is 19 feet the boat lift broke halfway through our stay and they said we over loaded the lift and changed us a damage fee! Overall this property is in a great location close to city park and all the amenities but due to the misleading pictures lack of maintenance/upkeep, smells and safety concerns I wouldn’t recommend this property!!

Unique stay

The hosts were lovely and had a few nice extra touches such as a collection of games to choose from and a margarita maker. But this property was not what we expected. It is a very very old building and has been fixed up in an odd way (there are four types of flooring in the living room). The bath and shower are quite old and stained, but the beds were all quite comfortable. The Master bedroom is actually in a porch so its very chilly but the hosts do provide an electric blanket and extra heater. Possibly due to the gloomy wet weekend we visited on, the décor felt quite oppressive and dark...but we did become more fond of the place as the weekend progressed and had some cozy visits in the living room. The views of the lake are excellent but the backyard place is communal for the entire building (two other units I believe). Cob webs in hard to reach places and I think the carpet in the living room might need a good wash. The neighbourhood is close to a very old logging yard with some industrial properties not too far away. But if you walk away from those you can find a wonderful lake front path that takes you into the city centre with great places to eat, theatres and cool shops. Overall: I would not remove this from your list from your trip, and I think it is reasonably priced given the Kelowna market, just a bit of a surprise from the photos.
