This beautiful Gulf-front vacation rental at Island Echos includes patio doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. Other features of this multi-colored, comfortable, beach inspired vacation rental include a full-size refrigerator, upgraded cabinets and light fixtures, cooktop stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. The bathroom includes upgraded tub and a vanity, light fixture and cabinets. The living room has a 60” TV and bedroom has a TV and DVD player.

Things to Know
Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Beautiful condo and views!The WiFi didn’t work the time we were there. I wouldn’t choose this if you need stable wifi for work. Also, the pool was so cold when we were there. The ocean was warmer. Just be prepared for the polar bear temps, especially since there’s no Jacuzzi. .

Nice but could improve

This condo could use some TLC. I feel like if I give my honest opinion it will be too harsh so I will just cover the basics. I’ll start with the positives. The kitchen appears to have been remodeled recently and it is very nice. The master bath is spacious and nicely appointed and the balcony is large and has lots of furniture. The property of the complex is spotless and felt very safe. The property is conveniently located near groceries and restaurants. However, there are negatives. When we checked in the condo appeared to be clean, but as my grandson crawled around his little knees, shins and feet were black. The couch is stained and dirty, we had to put a sheet over it to sit. If you are planning to cook bring your own things as the kitchen had the absolute bare minimum in utensils and cooking equipment. The vents in the ceiling are covered in dirt, dust and what appeared to be mold. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The balcony door did not lock. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom made a terrible noise so we weren’t able to use it at all and the handle came off of the tub faucet when we ran water. These things were reported to the rental company immediately but only one issue was addressed on our last day. Rental company did offer to have someone come mop (the next day) but we had already mopped so we declined. Having said these things, we were on vacation and enjoyed our stay making the best of the situation.

PERFECT LOCATION!

This place is as close to Destin as possible without all the congestion. It was PERFECT. Views were incredible, beds were comfy, and the kitchen/living area were the most spacious we've had in a rental to date. The decor could stand to be updated, but it worked for our needs. We never had to wait more than a minute for the elevator and rarely even had to share it with anyone else. We will DEFINITELY be back. Also, the gated community is a nice bonus for safety. The two chairs/umbrella on the beach was awesome too. Absolutely loved this place.

Fun time for all

Lovely place to stay. Beautiful beach views. Sitting on the balcony watching (and hearing) the waves was awesome. This was our first time staying in Ft. Walton, but it definitely will not be our last. I will be looking to book this same unit in the future! Great place for families of all ages. Close to good dining and grocery stores. The beach service was a nice benefit too!

This unit has a breath taking view. The choice of furniture is lovely and the place has a very home-away-from-home feel with all the comforts. The unit was clean and spacious with comfortable beds for everyone. Guest Services acted quickly to resolve minimal issues. Included beach service was a plus. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful updated condo beachfront

This gorgeous condo is the most updated condo we’ve ever stayed in. Plenty of room for all 5 of us and we cooked two nights with with everything we needed from the kitchen. Great views of the ocean up from the 6th floor balcony. We love this place.

Beautiful place!

This place was wonderful! It was perfect for four friends to enjoy time together. It looked just like the pictures. The view from the balcony was beautiful! We loved the beach service and the private beach!

A Spacious Place

We didn't need three bedrooms but did want a more open feel to any condo we selected. This one hit on all cylinders. Clean, good quality furnishings, great view, and very comfortable. Check-in and -out was very simple. Beach access was direct and the beach itself wonderful. Only gripe is how sterile the kitchen was. That is, no coffee filters or other useful non-edible items were available. Publix is close, but traffic to it can make it a miserable trip in-season.

A disappointing visit

The condo was lovely and in good condition. The view was so nice over the beach. The chair/umbrella person was very accommodating. We had issues with the ice maker, but were given a bag of ice. The TVs had some issues that a maintenance person corrected, but when the TVs were turned off, the issues returned. Monday and Tuesday the jackhammering on the stairwell prevented us from remaining in the condo during the day.

Fielding Phone Calls During My Mother's Funeral

There is such a thing as OVER COMMUNICATION. I booked two nights to return home for my mother's funeral. I have received no less than 7 texts, 8 emails, and three phone calls from Vacasa. Pretty absurd to be fielding a phone call while driving from the church to the grave from someone that wants me to run the dishwasher before checking out the next day. If you want to check on the performance of your cleaning staff, get off your rump and go check up on them. So many little surveys and pestering. It would have been annoying for a family vacation, unacceptable during my mother's funeral. I answered the phone because I had arrangements for a luncheon after the funeral. Saw the 850 area code and had to see who it was. Completely big business, robotic "customer service".
