Our condo is a quiet refuge on the Sea of Cortez, where you can relax while enjoying an oceanfront view of jumping fish and surfers. There are sliding glass windows that open to the ocean from both bedrooms, in addition to the living room. This is a corner unit with a large balcony.
Recently added, new flat screen TV and Mexican DVD player which allows you to rent your favorite movies from the local blockbuster and play them in English. There is wireless internet so you can stay connected and a Vonage line for free long distance calls home.
Located very close to the town of San Jose del Cabo you will avoid the chaos that has become Cabo San Lucas. San Jose is an artists haven. You will find the town quaint and much quieter than our neighbor to the south. Yet there are many excellent restaurants.
The airport is about 20 minutes away and easily accessible. Cabo San Lucas is 30 minutes away.
Once you have visited our local grocery store 'MEGA' and purchased some food, you will not want to leave the comforts of this well appointed condo.
Costa Azul, Zippers and Old Man are next door for those of you who wish to try to Surf, they rent boards and give lessons.
The beach is pristine and the morning sunrise is inspirational.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
We started to vacation in Cabo for Spring breaks when the kids were young about 18 years ago. It was a quick flight and the weather is always great. It is a dream come true on own oceanfront property anywhere.
The view is spectacular. This building is the closest to the water of all San Jose Del Cabo.
The location is central to all the activities.
The pictures are the real thing. Clean and well equipped. The artistic touches in the condo make this one special and unique. The common areas (pools, gardens, etc) are beautiful. Security is 24 hour - very safe. Computer with internet was a plus - you can leave yours at home. Toll free calling to the US, beach chairs, ice chest, and washer/dryer are wonderful to have. Comfortable beds and nice furniture. We loved the quiet, uncrowded beach. Zippers beachside restaurant only a 5 minute walk down the beach. Mega supermarket is very close and sells everything. San Jose Del Cabo arts section is enchanting, safe, low-key and close. Be sure to eat dinner at Mi Cocina on the square - great setting and great food. We also enjoyed Tequilas and Salsita.
Cabo San Lucas is a short drive and made for a fun day-trip. But, you won't need to leave the condo. It is very relaxing and comfortable.
Though usually touted as a surfing beach, we swam in the surf with no problem.
Donna, the owner, makes it easy with her pre-visit communication and recommendations. She has thought of everything. One (of two) central air conditioning units quit on us but thanks to Donna's instructions and arrangements was fixed within a couple of hours.
We will look forward to a return visit soon!
This was our first time to Cabo and what a great surprise the entire experience was. Firstly - staying closer to San Jose Del Cabo was a great decision. Unless you want to be closer to the "action" - we liked the slower pass of San Jose.
The town of San Jose is charming and there are great restaurants - we liked Lolita's cafe, Sardina Cantina (walking distance from the condo) and El Toro Guero (great seafood - Rick Bayless (chef) goes there when in town.) Skip Zippers and 7seas - both are not worth it when there are plenty of other great options. Art walk on Thursday's is worth it - and a good excuse to wander the streets.
The condo has spectacular views and is very well equipped with about everything you need for the beach or just hanging in the condo. The Mega has plenty of grocery options to stock up for meals in the condo. We really liked the Mykonos property - it was well maintained - and the pools were fantastic. The gate was rarely down- but there was always a friendly guard who recognized us - the property felt very safe. Probably the best part of the condo was the porch - it's massive with enough space to have guests over - plenty of seating - or just chill.
The only downer was there is construction right next door and a huge crane (literally you could climb it from the left of the porch)- but we imagine that will be done in the next few months - if you are an early riser they don't start construction noise until around 8:30 AM - and the sound of the waves blocks the noise most of the time. Construction is happening everywhere - so this wasn't an issue for us. Bedrooms were spacious - and there was nothing like being able to see the sand and waves right from the master bedroom. We loved the massive shower that felt like an outdoor shower.
You don't need a car - but we would recommend one - it's difficult to explore without one. We highly recommend Santa Maria beach for snorkeling - they just completed a massive renovation including a walkway that could accommodate a wheelchair to the beach. Chilano is good - but the construction is distracting. We also recommend going to Cabo Pulmo - if you are adventurous - it's drive up a dirt trail about 50 miles - the views and beaches are fantastic. Dirt trail - and bumpy with no cell coverage - so be prepared.
This is a great location, condo and views.
I have stayed in several rental condos in San Jose, and have to say this is my favorite thus far. Great location, very well equipped, and very comfortable place. It is very obvious that the owners take pride in decorating this condo to make their guests feel like they are in a home, and not a rental.
We stayed for a week over spring break (2 adults and 2 teenagers). You wouldn't know it was spring break in San Jose, as it was very relaxed. The Quacamaya restaurant turned out to be our favourite - thanks for the tip. We also enjoyed Mama Mia for lunch (a short walk down the beach towards the resorts).
Your place had everything we needed, and is very well appointed. The new furniture is very nice, although I don't think we even sat in that room when we could sit out on the patio overlooking the ocean. There is a new property being built next door, but we didn't notice the noise at all. The grounds are in great shape, and will only get better as the plants mature post hurricane. We were able to swim in the ocean everyday as the tide was low during the day, and the shore break was pretty small and not treacherous.
Thanks for sharing your place with us, we really enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Both the condo and the complex exceeded our expectations. The view from the condo and the pool area was jaw-dropping. Bring your binoculars as you will be able to see whales and dolphins from the balcony, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning from that same spot! Great ocean-front views from every room, and the 2 BR layout was perfect for us; it was almost like having 2 masters. Best of all was the fantastic communication, helpful hints, and recommendations from the owner. Thank you, Donna! We highly recommend the 7 Seas for dinner, and Zippers was great if you wanted to have a cocktail with an ocean-side view just a short walk down the beach. We hope to return in the near future!
We were very pleased with everything - the location, the grounds, the pools, and especially the condo itself. Everything was as clean as could be and worked perfectly. Of three buildings at Mykonos, this unit is absolutely in the best building (C) and maybe the best location in that building. Though there's a busy highway not far away, you'd never know it once you're in the condo. The sea breeze, breaking waves, and view from the master bedroom - lying in bed, even! - were all fabulous. We were there 8 days and didn't turn on the AC once. The wrap-around deck is huge and extremely well furnished. All of the extras you'd have in your own place - beach chairs, boogie board, tons of towels, anything we might have needed - are all provided.
The beach goes on forever. Even during the holidays, it was never even close to busy. We walked up the beach and into town on several occasions and also found our way to the big grocery store, Mega. We loved the snorkeling at Playa Chileno though were disappointed with snorkeling at Cabo Pulmo (though loved renting a car and getting out for a few days).
The owner was extremely helpful, both before our trip and checking with us while we were there. Her suggestions regarding restaurants and side trips were all stop-on. While this wasn't the least expensive place I've ever stayed, it was definitely one of the nicest and I hope to go back again someday.
There are a variety of activities, including whale watching, pirate ships, ATV tours, etc...not enough time to do it all!
