This property exceeded our expectations in multiple ways. It was perfect for our family Christmas. Our dogs had plenty of space to exercise in the backyard. The sunroom and outdoor fireplace were a delight.

Great Place
THe house was very nice, well stocked and plenty of room. Quiet neighborhood and nice backyard.
When you come in, you are aware that you are in a home not a house. The home offers enough space to spread out with the family. The home is comfortable.
The host went the extra mile to help us out with a couple of issues. The propane fireplace and the sunroom were delightful, and this house had more comfortable seating than most places we’ve stayed!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was perfect for bringing our family together and had plenty of space to comfortably accommodate two families. Everyone had room to relax and enjoy themselves. The backyard and deck were great for spending time outdoors, and the location couldn’t have been better—set in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but still close to stores and anything we needed. The kitchen was impressively well stocked, which made cooking easy. We even baked Christmas cookies during our stay, which made the trip feel extra special.
Needed a comfortable, safe place to stay and this property didn’t disappoint. Felt like home and didn’t want to leave. Thank you (to the owner) for opening their home and making it such a great place to be… 5 Stars!!!
Great location for visiting area historical sites. House was verify well stocked and clean. Did not get to enjoy the exterior due to the many days of Elaine. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you would need is there with the exception of a toaster in the kitchen Would recommend and would stay again if visiting the area.

Weekend Stay
We were in town for my nephew’s wedding and enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed an evening out on the back patio watching football on the outdoor tv while enjoying a fire in the patio fireplace. Also spent a good deal of time hanging out in the enclosed sunroom. The house is cozy… though a bit overdone on all the decorations/knick knacks. Other than that it is a lovely home in a good location/neighborhood with all the amenities.
Exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for everyone. My son, wife and 2 boys came to visit everyday. They were the reason we came there. Plenty of toys and lot of seating for everyone. Nice big kitchen to cook. Quick trip to Walmart. We place a grocery order when we got there and had them delivered about 10pm. That was nice. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. We will come here on our next visit.

Very homey but still needs work. Entry doorknob came off every time it was used. The upstairs fans were very noisy.

Hi Joan, we're sorry your stay didn't fully meet your expectations. The homeowner would like to address your concerns:- The door handle was not broken at check-in, but we did find it damaged after your departure and repaired it promptly to prevent any inconvenience for future guests.- We’ve checked the upstairs fans and haven't noticed any loud or unusual sounds, but we’ll continue to monitor them in case any issues arise.Thank you for letting us know about your visit.
Please add a toaster and some wine glasses! Would benefit from more bath towels (used a beach towel for one guest) and a bedside table/lamp in the king bedroom and single bedroom (had to turn off overhead light by door and then make way in the dark to the bed). Property met our needs, and the kitchen was well-stocked (except for no toaster!).

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
The house was dusty and doors were gross. Alot of dirt. The backyard was cool, but it wasnt cleaned in along time. Cushions were missing, dirt on everything. My sister and i had to go to the store and by cleaning products and clean the entire house ourselves which took 2 hours and we were late to a family function. Very disappointed. We had to get toilet paper as well, one extra roll and not full rolls in any bathroom. House could have been adorable, but was not cleaned properly at all.
Home is very cluttered, not stocked as advertised, and very dirty. We were met with failed empathy by the landlord/company responsible for the rental. We were trapped to stay in the home for the first few days, and after we reported the issues and made other accommodations, the company blamed us for not reporting the issue sooner and allowing things to be rectified. For certain, the length of time to make this home appropriate would have exceeded the length or our stay. As frequent travelers and users of various services, this is the first time we ran into such unimaginable circumstances. Rent at your own risk. We would NOT recommend.

Hi Randy and Robin, we take guest feedback seriously and shared your comments with the homeowner, who wanted to clarify the following:– We wish you'd reached out with any concerns at the start of your stay so we could've had the chance to help. The home is intentionally decorated as shown in the listing photos and isn't cluttered, though preferences can vary. As for stocking, we provide all the essentials we've included on our listing. We encourage guests to fully review these details before booking.– Since cleanliness concerns were raised at the end of your week-long stay, it was difficult to look into them in real-time, particularly after the space had been used for many days. We're confident the home was thoroughly cleaned by our dedicated team before your arrival, and we were surprised to hear otherwise after receiving your kind message thanking us for sharing the home. The homeowner and their team work hard to provide the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many more satisfied guests.

This house is located in a perfect area. The house also has the potential to be amazing. It has some things that need cleaned up outside and it needs some work on the upstairs and basement place.
It was a lovely stay, perfect for relaxing with family. Very quiet neighborhood and we especially loved all the spots inside and out to hang out together, including by the outdoor fireplace and in the sunroom! The master bedroom was very nice; we wished the queen-sized bed had been upstairs for our other couple, which we found more pleasant than downstairs in the basement. We made it work with the smaller beds upstairs, but a bigger bed up there would have been nice. Only other thing we couldn't find was a tea kettle. Otherwise, all our needs were met and we found the house so cozy! Grocery stores less than 20 min away and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. Would love to use the grill next time. Thanks for a great stay!
