Come and stay at Eagles Rest Lake LBJ on the upper Colorado. Enjoy the beauty the lake has to offer with the large picture windows. Have fun in the water or by the pool. Hang outside on the patio or under the lakeside pavilion and firepit. The sunsets are unforgettable! This is an amazing 4 bedroom/3.5 bath home with additional sleeping for 4 in the built-in bunk beds. The open concept floor plan assures a great view of the lake from inside of the house. Home is furnished with comfort in mind, so you can unwind and leave your cares behind. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for both kids and adults to relax and have fun. You can fish from the dock, jet ski, go boating and much more! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Amenities also include a washer and dryer in the home. There is a dining area with a table with seating for 8 and 3 bar stools at the island, 2 living area, heated and cooled garage, outside patio, lakeside pavilion and grill. Excellent House and Location!

House was perfect for our needs. Beds were excellent, with the bunk beds having outlets for charging your phone overnight. Our POC was readily available for any questions, and made sure our stay was excellent. While unavoidable due to the trees, the pool was heavy with leaves. It was cleaned our final day, but we did not use it. All in all, was an excellent stay that the whole group enjoyed. Will definitely be looking again in the future to bring the family for a weekend lake trip!

Great Weekend

Stayed at the house for a golf weekend. Everything was great! Property Manager was super responsive. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils!

Great family vacation!

This house is the perfect family vacation. We have a large family and it never felt congested. The best part was that it is very baby friendly. The back porch had a gate to keep the babies from wandering to the pool and they also had a gate going down to the dock. The house was clean and spacious. The only thing I didn’t like was the trees above the pool. They should be trimmed back so more sun could shine on the pool. We all had a great time!

Great location

We had a great time. The beds, bathrooms, family area were good. Our grandkids loved the Lilly pad and giant tube. Loved being on a pencil of the lake. It was more quaint. The pool was awesome.

PEACEFUL BEAUTY

The house is just as beautiful as the pictures. The pool is perfect with the giant shade tree...pool is on the west side so the tree is a lifesaver from the Texas summer sun. The garage is really fun with the ping-pong table and arcade games... and the garage has air-conditioning! We really enjoyed our stay!

Family lake trip

Property was great for our family. Location and lake access was awesome. Tree over pool prevented the pool from getting much sunlight but otherwise the weekend was great.

Perfect Place For a Family &Friends

A great time had by all. The house was perfect size for our group. The dock and pavilion area was a hit, with a lot of the time spent fishing, playing, and relaxing in the lake. The pool had nice balance of shade too. Communication and check in was seamless. Directions and info on everything regarding the house was written in detail. Really enjoyed our stay and the overall experience.

Awesome lakeside retreat

We had a marvelous time at Mike’s place. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the living room a wonderful place to gather. Our family loved playing ping pong, the pool and the paddle boards. There were 14 of us for the eclipse and everyone was comfortable.

Family Weekend

Family weekend before school started and we enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and perfect for our family. We spent a relaxing weekend enjoying the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Review

Washer/dryer was nice to have as we did laundry daily. The Master bath/shower is awesome! Swimming pool was clean and yard was manicured however, there were several ant mounds near driveway that we stepped in as we were unloading. The west sun hits the back side of the house but not that big of a deal. House was not deep cleaned. Long black hairs in shower and in bed sheets. Everything needed a good wipe down. The upstairs game room is nice but when someone is sleeping there, others have to walk through that area to get to their rooms. The bunk beds were nice but very warm inside to sleep in. The bunks and Master bed were made noise everyone you move. Kitchen pots and pans were old and needed to be replaced. Several coffee cups and cereal bowls were chipped and not safe to use. Spider webs on deck. Lots of unwanted extras in pantry that I moved to the top shelf to get out of the way. Too many breakable decorations in living room and master bedroom. The master closet had some electrical cords that need to be organized and not stretching across the closet. Overall my family had a very nice time on our 8 day 7 night stay but for the amount of money charged, these things should be addressed. The neighbor on left if you are looking at the house was awesome, very nice neighbor. Trash was never ending on our stay as we cooked all meals so trash bins were filled quickly and although they were picked up on Friday and dumped, we still left them full as we checked out.

Weekend at the lake

Incredible Memories Made at this Gem Propery

I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is set up to accommodate multiple families with kids of varying ages. The pool is wonderful for the littles because it’s a smaller side and under some shade trees. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was responsive to any questions and we felt very well taken care of! Booking it for next year!!

Perfect for family gatherings!

We needed a place to host our huge family Thanksgiving, and this house did not disappoint. We didn’t have the weather we wanted, but that didn’t stop some of us from using the stand up paddle boards and kayak that are provided. We even brought fishing poles and caught some fish off the dock and from the kayak. It’s a great location on the upper arm of the Colorado. Very quiet and super chill. The house is perfect for big groups and there are plenty of beds. The sleeper sofa is not comfortable, but there is a mattress topper in the closet to help with that! We had a ton of kids staying (4-17 years old), and there is plenty for them to play! They loved the Golden Tee and ping pong in the garage (LOTS of time out there haha), as well as the shuffle board upstairs. Peggy manages the property, and she was extremely helpful and attentive the entire time. She truly wants you to have a great experience. The kitchen is stocked and you will have a great time if you stay here. We would definitely rent this house again!

Good October Vibes On the Lake!

We had a great weekend. This house is beautiful and the sleeping arrangements are perfect! Lovely baths and kitchen. Great laundry room, too. Bathrooms are fully stocked with nice towels. There's plenty to do with a very nice ping pong table, small arcade game, yard games, and pool and lake toys. I took off one star from cleanliness ONLY b/c the outside could have been better. The lakeside furniture was quite dirty-we had to wash it off before sitting on it and the patio had sticky, syrupy looking stuff on it. It could have been from the tree that kept dropping some kind of fruit all over the ground???? Also, the propane grill is in pretty rough shape and had food particles on it when we got ready to use it. I'd say grill at your own risk- the burners either need deep cleaning or replacing. As far as location I also took off one star only b/c the surrounding neighborhood is pretty shakey. The row of homes where this one is, is lovely. But most everything around it is unkempt. Now, this said, it's very close to Kingsland and very easy to get to. These are great things! The water was great for skiing and tubing. It wasn't crowded and the views are just beautiful. However, true to the very careful warning from the owner and property manager, there are zebra mussels everywhere in the water. They're very sharp. Know ahead of time you'll need river/water shoes if you plan to swim. I'd suggest you bring heavy duty plastic ware if you're going to have more than about 6 people. There were not enough forks, knives, and spoons for our 12 people. There were plenty of nice plates, bowls, and mugs. The property manager is very attentive. It's a beautiful home and one which you'll enjoy completely as long as you know and plan for a few of the particulars.
