The home is large enough to fit 6 adults comfortably and the location is perfect as well. Although, the home itself is far too outdated and the upkeep has lacked over the years unfortunately. The home has a musty smell which probably comes from the carpet throughout the entire home, including the bathrooms. The carpet extends to the toilets and showers. There was also a lot of dust and spiderwebs from about eye level and up. Evident no one has really cleaned the home well in a long time. Although there are heaters in each room they are loud and will frequently turn on and off through the night. On a positive note the fireplace and provided wood was nice to have at night as well as the larger dining table for all of us to sit at. Overall the stay was ok, the home just felt neglected over the years unfortunately.

Perfect spot for our snow retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo. It slept all 7 of us comfortably, with all new furnishings. Most condos have outdated furnishings but this one was up to date. The owner has taken the time to enusre it's decorated nicely and has all of the amenties anyone would need. The proximity to shopping, walking trails, snow shoeing and skiing is perfect for us and we look forward to staying agian in the future.

Just like home

My husband and I, along with two couples spent a long weekend in Mammoth and wanted to have a comfortable and spacious home. The Snowcreek condo did not disappoint. It was well equipped with every thing we needed to make a gourmet meal as well as 3 queen beds in separate rooms which is hard to come by in rentals. No adult wants to sleep on a bunk bed! Thank you Ken for opening your home to us, we will definitely be staying here again!

Glad you had a great time. We try to make our guests trips as enjoyable as when we go to Mammoth! We did away with the sofa bed and futon use and now have real beds for everyone!

Friends Winter Trip

This Place was Perfect for Our Yearly Friends Trip. It was very Warm n Cozy it felt like Home. The condo is Fully Equipped. Kitchen has enough plates, bowls, utensils etc….Enough Space for everyone to Mingle. Grocery stores n shops is just 5 min away. Mammoth Lodge was about 10 min away. Want to thank Mr Ken for his hospitality. He was attentive to our staying. He reached out to see how we were doing and if needed anything. Definitely will recommend this Cozy home to Friends n Family!!!

When we arrived there were snap mouse traps set in the kitchen and communal bathroom area directly adjacent to the kitchen and dining room--without advance disclosure and safety precautions. In addition, a number of mouse traps were left out in the laundry room and plug in electronic mouse repellers were present in numerous places throughout the condo with instructions that they were not to be removed. The snap mouse traps were very worrisome to us as we had a 3-year old granddaughter with us. The condo also had a heating problem, which was important to us given the winter storms in the Sierra Nevada which dumped 8 feet of snow while we were there and 12 degree overnight temperatures. Our multi-generation family ranged in age from 3 years to 71 years of age. The condo instructions contained detailed instructions for use of the heater in the downstairs master bedroom. However, the thermostat for the heater in the master bedroom had been removed, so that it was inoperable and the heater in the adjacent master bathroom did not adequately heat the master bedroom. The principal heater for the downstairs entry was also defective. We reached out to the owner and a handyman brought us a small floor heater for us to use in the meantime, but it was inadequate. Unfortunately, the issues with the downstairs heaters (one was disabled and the other was broken and needed to be replaced) caused us considerable worry and a day of our vacation.

Let us first respond that the guest could have left the first day and received a full refund but waited until after their departure and close to it to notify us of their dissatisfaction. The guest did not mention the mouse traps until the day before leaving and we mentioned they could collect the traps and place in the laundry. Mammoth Lakes had a severe mouse problem during the summer and fall. Hantavirus was also a problem. I'm sure the guest would have been more concerned if they experienced a live mouse!. Fortunately we did not catch any mice during this period and the weather has changed during late December so mice are not likely a problem. All traps have been removed. Regarding the heater, this occurred during the Christmas holidays. Upon hearing of the heater problem in the entry, we had a service man respond within 1 1/2 hours. It was determined the reset button needed to be pushed. Unfortunately the heater failed again and a replacement part was needed. We searched trying to get the part as quickly as possible and also tried to obtain a new replacement heater. But since this was the Christmas holidays nothing could be obtained until after the day after the guest left. The repairman left a portable heater. Again this was for the entry, not a bedroom or living space. We have a WIFI based thermostat system that has temperature sensors in all the areas. The temperature during their stay in all areas varied between 68-72 degrees. More than adequate during a period of heavy snow storms. Regarding the disconnected heater we told the guest that it was disconnected as it was too loud when we were sleeping and increased the size of the other heater by the same wattage to make up for the disconnected heater. If both were connected it would trip the circuit breaker. Again during the guest's stay the temperature varied between 68-72 degrees. The guest did not complain and ask for refund until after they left. VRBO gave them a refund but they still left a review indicating we were unresponsive and conditions were unbearable. If you read our other reviews you will note guests are extremely happy staying in our condo and the service we provide.

Beautiful mountain getaway

This was a wonderful location that was more than large enough for the 8 of us who stayed here. Not sure why the VRBO marker showed on the meadow side of the complex but it was a short walk to the meadow nonetheless. Great trip!

Family get away

My family of 7 stayed at this lovely home. Great area close to town. There was more then enough room for my family. The kids loved the loft area. I will say there were more stairs then expected but it was fine. Ken the owner was great with communicating with me on the check in process and was very kind in answering all my questions.

Perfect Stay

We had eight adults stay in this beautiful home, and there was plenty of room. I've stayed in several Snowcreek homes in the past, and this one was by far the best. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed -- even though we brought some of our own pots/stoneware and utensils just in case, since we we were going to be preparing Christmas dinner. Thanks for the great stay and also for supplying us a white Christmas for free! :)

GREAT PLACE!

This is a great condo! Good location. Clean. Kitchen very well-stocked with everything you'll need if you'll be cooking. Even some spices! We were pleasantly surprised to find a highchair in the dining room, as we had a little one with us. Beds were very comfortable! Heating is good, once you get the heaters set right. It is four-stories so you have to be o.k. with steps. Very comfortable condo. I recommend this condo and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Fabulous rental with lots of space.

We had a great stay at this location. The condo is very spacious and there is plenty of room in all the different areas (bedrooms, loft, kitchen, dining room, and living room). We had a group of 8 people and it never felt cramped at all. There are plenty of pots/pans/kitchen utensils to cook with, as well as a nice big laundry room. The condo owner was very responsive before our arrival, provided lots of details about the condo, and area. He also checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything after we checked in. Parking was super easy as you can park in front of the condo. Really great place!

Great Mammoth getaway

The place was amazing. Very spacious and everything you need to enjoy yourself for a short stay. Nearby everything so we got to spend most our time skiing the mountain. Would highly recommend!

Roomy condo!

This condo is a great place with many rooms. My friends and I enjoyed ourselves. It's very spacious with four levels. Eagle is the closest run to this condo. Less than a mile away is the bowling alley. This place is tucked away off snowcreek road. We didn't get a chance to check out the spa, but next time we definitely will. The owner checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and that we understood how everything worked in the the condo. It was nice to know that if we needed help with something that we could just call. Looking forward to another trip.

Winter Comfort

We spent a big part of our winter break at this condo in Mammoth. It had been years since we had been to Mammoth Lakes and this was our first time at this particular condo. Our group included 4 kids and 3 adults and everyone had plenty of room to live comfortably. The rooms are spread out with the master on the first floor, two other large bedrooms on another floor and the loft above everything else. In addition to that, there is a nice entry way with a long bench which gave everyone space to hang their outerwear and leave their boots which was really helpful with the snow. The bathrooms are big and well-equipped with plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. The kitchen is full-sized with a healthy supply of everything you would need to prepare a meal (we brought our own food, of course). We cooked most of our meals which was easy and convenient because all of the kitchen tools and utensils are right there. In addition to that, having the laundry right off of the kitchen was extremely helpful. We didn't have to pack every single outfit for everyday which was awesome. The living room is a nice size too with plenty of comfortable places to sit, and the wood burning stove kept us nice and warm. Transportation to the mountain is close. We didn't use it because we drove ourselves everyday which wasn't too big of a hassle at all. I would definitely stay here again. The owners are very helpful, communicative, fast, easy and pleasant to deal with which is a huge advantage especially over the holidays when you're coordinating a thousand other things at the same time. We will certainly stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to family and friends.

Summer in Snow Creek

My family and I had a great time this summer in Mammoth. The Snow Creek condo we rent was spacious and very well maintained. The location is ideal for biking, walking and easy access to town. At the same time it is located away from traffic and noise of town so we could enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Definitely a great place for kids and adults.
