The feel of the property is one of a modern blend between a chalet and farmhouse in the Catskill Mountains. There are many special areas for one to enjoy whether it is sitting on the Adirondack Chairs on the upper deck or sun bathing on the lower deck or just simply enjoying the views out the windows from the cozy living-dining room.
In the lower deck there is a living room under the Pergola as well as a full dining room table. Why not cook your meal on the Weber Grill and enjoy the outdoor space after all that is why you are here!

Great getaway!

We really enjoyed this home. The views were beautiful and the home had everything we needed. We used the fire pit, grilled, and even saw black bears. The kids had a great time. We would stay here again.

Clean, thoughtful and responsive

We stayed at the house with my extended family, ages ranging from 3 to 70. We all were impressed with the cleanliness of the house and thoughtful details (e.g., indoor socks, slippers, a bottle of wine, etc.), and how well stocked the kitchen was. When they were issues, the owner/house manager was responsive and helpful. We would stay here again if we’re ever back in the area.

Awesome! The owner was quick and lovely in all communications. The very nice new house is fully equipped, stocked, nicely decorated, immaculately clean upon arrival.... beautiful view of Hunter Mountain - close to Windham and not too far from Bellayre, too.... will stay there again!

Great property close to Windham and Hunter

We had a lovely stay at this house. Clean and comfortable accommodations for our family of 5. Loved the amenities like bottled water, paper towels, soap, etc. that wouldn’t necessarily be included at other properties. We had a ski vacation planned for Windham Mountain but couldn’t find accommodations at Windham. We were concerned about being too far away from the mountain but it was a quick, easy drive to Windham. The owner of the property was so nice and helpful before and during our stay.

Wonderful stay, we loved everything about this place!

We absolutely loved our stay! This property is perfect for two families, nice warm decorated and super clean. The living environment is so quiet that it takes 7 minutes to hunter. We stayed for three days, we are lucky to enjoy both the sunshine and the beautiful snow view. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We'll be back...

I grew up in Manhattan enjoying everything the city had to offer but growing up in a big city one wants to get out and explore what the world has to offer. My wife Carolina comes from Quito, Ecuador. She had the privilege of growing up surrounded by nature, this is the reason why we decided to buy the house and enjoy what this beautiful area has to offer. We both like travel and have been blessed to have traveled quite extensively.

Why they chose this property

My mother Nancy bought this property in 2002 and used it to enjoy her retirement working on her Interior Decorating and her passion of being an artist. It was important for Carolina and I to keep the property in the family to continue to enjoy for years to come and share the beauty with others.

What makes this property unique

The property is truly special, just sitting on the upper deck and looking directly out towards Hunter Mountain is very relaxing. Being with nature while you pan out across the property seeing the deer, rabbits to name a few and hearing the Blue Jays excited communicating while the Chipmunks and Squirrels are jumping from tree to tree. And when the wildlife turns off for the evening staring up at the stars is quite peaceful. Just being here one forgets what day it is.
