Get stay - advice for future
Issues maintenance should address: when we used the bath tub, water trickled down to the first floor and left a puddle in the kitchen; shower door needs rehanging. Useful item to add: a lighter for the fireplace, grill and candle. Slight smell of cigarette smoke first day; improved with scented candle. Great accessibility to the slopes and a wonderful time skiing. We loved the end of the day run skiing down with the slope all to ourselves!

Mountain Condo get-away
Overall, nice. The only 2 "negatives" would be: both beds were very uncomfortable/hard & the unit itself was difficult to find, as a Map of the development wasn't provided at check-in. It was a little confusing at first to not check-in onsite, as this Unit is managed by a third party vs the Condo Manager. However, they were very easy to deal with from start to finish! The nature that was active in the community (variety of birds, squirrels, bunnies, etc) was fun to watch. Living in a suburb of a large City, that isn't something we experience regularly. It was quiet, clean, close to skiing, hiking, and just a few blocks from a main thoroughfare in town. The unit was a little small, which was totally fine for the 2 of us. If you have a party of 4 or more, you might want a little larger accommodations.

Keep Looking
Pros: Proximity to chair lift Cons: Needed a deep clean. Thick layer of dust on everything. Upstairs carpet was disgusting and needs to be replaced. Strong floral scent in bedrooms. Extremely uncomfortable beds. Kids opted to sleep on the couch over the bed in their room. No heat vents in bedrooms…only in bathrooms…so it was freezing at night. Check in process confusing. First stop at property management office. Next stop at on-site office, where I interacted with the rudest man who showed zero “hospitality”. I was in tears by the time I got back in my car. Left one day early cause the unit was so bad.

a bit rundown, and not ski in/ski out
the place is tired. carpet on stairs is coming up, my daughter sprained her finger arresting her fall when slid out from under her. Place is dark and a little gloomy, they must have had Klieg lights for photos. One shower door was broken and wouldn't slide (maint guy was leaving as we arrived and said that's what he just fixed, so he blew it). Toaster was inop. Had to run the master bath exhaust fan all night to mask the sound of the smoke detector beeping in the condo next door. Calling it ski in/ski out was ludicrous...it wasn't a long walk (couple hundred yards) to the lifts but you were definitely crossing pavement.
