We really strive to provide a 5-star stay for all our guests, meaning as described in the listing. Please let me know how we could have made your stay a better experience for you.
Greg, the host, welcomed us on arrival and encouraged us to let him know of any issues - we did not need to contact him. Written check-in, check-out instructions were helpfully thorough. Restaurant and winery recommendations were included. There was also information about local attractions. The property description does not come close to how fun the house is. Each room was a visual treat. Discovery of new and interesting, artistically-displayed objects was an on-going experience. There were fun games to play in a pleasant sun room. There were lots of DVDs when you were through with the games. Sunsets were as spectacular as described - and enjoyed.

Thank you for the thoughtful and generous review. You’re welcome back any time. Greg
This property served us so well at our stay in Fredrick. It was so close to everything. It was a charming, old house with cookware, magazines, games, extra bedding/towels, soaps/shampoos, ironing board/iron, anything you would need. They also had a few drinks and snacks which was great since we got in late and didn’t have time to pick anything up yet. We loved our stay. Very family-friendly, in a great neighborhood with all the amenities you need, and a great host who lives close.
We enjoyed our stay, quiet area, it was everything we needed. Enjoyed the sunroom and watching the deer walk through the properties!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Nice quaint property
An older place but that made it nice and quaint. I think with a 2-3 day deep clean, place would be a 5 star. I would recommend you stay and appreciate the value compared to others in the area.
The host is quick for communication and had an easy check-in/check-out process. The location is in a really nice neighborhood just outside of Frederick, though plenty close enough to run into town to eat or whatever you may need to do. After 19 years in law enforcement, the house's location, regarding safety, is a big deal to me. The view from the back deck is really good, overlooking a lower, semi-rural area. Got to watch a couple of bald eagles gliding around behind the house one morning. My only real complaint is that the house could use some updates. Thank you for the hospitality!
The house had everything we needed, and the host was wonderful. It could use a little updating, but overall, it portrayed warmth and a home-like feeling. Everything we needed was provided. The view is wonderful!
Well stocked kitchen, comfortably nostalgic. Fairly easy communication, except texting would have been better for a vacation.

Happy New Year Mykelle. I’m sorry we didn’t provide your with a 5 star stay. You’re our first that didn’t feel the house was 100% as advertised. Please let me know how we could have improved your stay. I’m happy to receive co structure criticism so we can improve in the future. All the best, Greg.
Greg was welcoming and available if needed. The house was well appointed for our needs. The views from patio and sunroom were gorgeous. We attended a family wedding celebration in addition to visiting family and friends in the area. House was easy to find for all. Enjoyed the house decor and personality and will return to it for future visits to the area
This is a warm, cozy, well-stocked house filled with midcentury modern charm and personality. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and appreciated the thoughtfulness from Greg including a list of nearby attractions and a welcome basket. Unlike other properties, this was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. It was rainy while we were there so we couldn't take advantage of the deck but the view was still spectacular. Highly recommend.

Thank you Jennifer. You and your family are always welcome back.
This home is snuggled in a residential area of beautiful homes, stately trees, a host who leaves close by, great restaurants, beautiful parks, mountains and a lively downtown atmosphere…
Our family loved this property. The hosts were excellent, check-in a breeze, and pictures 100% to actual. Tons of space, numerous streaming tv options for kids, loaded kitchen, beds and pillows to die for, any bathroom need you can think of, gorgeous back deck view, and just everything we needed for a family of 5. Thank you Greg and Kirk and we hope to be back!
Gregory was friendly. Right next door if we needed him.
The house was stocked with anything we needed.
Location is good if visiting Frederick. The stay was enjoyable and we would return.
Wonderful stay! The owners were fantastic and we would love to stay here again on our next visit to Frederick. Great views and proximity to everything the area has to offer. Definitely recommend.
This was a cozy, beautiful property located close to DC but in a nice town to get away from the crowds. House has great views and a lot of character. Greg was very considerate leaving goodies at check in. The house is well stocked, and the owner is very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer and explored the area. There were plenty of local thigs to do. The whole process from booking to check in was easy and hassle free. We would definitely return when we are up that way again.
The house was just as advertised. It was spacious enough for my family of 5 and had everything we could need. We appreciated the welcome basket of snacks and beverages left by the host. He was very responsive too, which was great. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We felt right at home.
Greg was an excellent property manager! Friendly and next door in case of any problems.
The home itself was clean, quiet, and well stocked with provisions.
Would absolutely stay here again if we’re in the Frederick area!
