Step onto the slopes from this cozy mountain house this winter! A true ski in/ski out mountain home just steps to Eagle Swoop. The perfect spot to celebrate the holidays with your family. The house is secluded at the end of Pinnacle Drive and walking distance to slopes, the Mountain Inn, shops and dining. 3 BR, 2 BA house with a woodstove and plenty of firewood, flatscreen tvs in every room, washer/dryer, deck with grill and ample parking. 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 2 sets of Bunk beds and fold out futon in the cozy upstairs loft great for kids. Enjoy watching the skiers from dining table and sitting around the fire.

One of the best rental experiences we’ve had. The home was perfect for our family (Husband and I, 6- and 2-year-old kids plus grandparents) and had everything we needed. We loved the high-quality kitchenware, great shower pressure with plenty of hot water, and the wood stove for indoor s’mores.Ski-out access onto Eagle’s Swoop was incredibly convenient—especially for quick runs during nap time—and the house is just a few homes from the Big Acorn lift. Our 6-year-old loved the loft with bunk beds and her own hangout space.Florian was a wonderful host: communicative, flexible with early drop-off, quick to help with a washer issue, and incredibly kind when our car broke down before departure. We’d absolutely stay again.

Terrific family weekend

We had a terrific visit at this property and would be happy to return again. It is very clean and provided everything we needed throughout the stay. The location is super close to The Market and The Edge, and right on the ski path. We were there over Thanksgiving and Wintergreen has just started making snow, it was fun to see the snowblowers going and to wake up to snow on the ground. The owner was kind and easy to reach. Overall, a great stay and an easy 5 stars. Thanks so much!

Great treehouse at wintergreen

The description was accurate and the property was well maintained, to the point that we felt comfortable with our 7-month-old crawling around on the floor . Florian was easy to deal with, very responsive, and accommodating.

Lovely weekend in the mountains

Our group really enjoyed our stay and we found this property to be beautiful and cozy. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with all the dishes, spices, and amenities we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and the sleeping set up in the loft was even better than we thought it might be. The living room was perfect for our group as a hang out space and the porch provided another tranquil space to enjoy the surrounding nature. The property is steps away from one of the ski trails and a short walk to the chair lift - beautiful view in the summer. The area was quiet and serene and overall this was just what we were looking for. Florian was an excellent host - very responsive and helpful, both before and during the stay. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property! The house was very cozy and clean. It had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable. Our stay included two families - 4 adults and 4 kids. We all had comfortable sleeping arrangements with plenty of space for everyone. Kids slept in the loft, which has two twin beds and a futon. The views, especially at night time were amazing. This is a true house in the mountains. While there, we drove to the Sherando lake nearby, which is a beautiful and peaceful mountain lake to relax at or hike around. It’s best to bring all of the food you plan to use and cook with you. There is a small mart nearby to grab some basics or anything you may have forgotten. But once you make your way up the mountain, you probably wouldn’t want to go back down for groceries, especially if it’s in the evening and dark out. Florian is a very responsive and hospitable host! We hope to be back again!
