Great house. Easy walk to the beach. Host was very accommodating to questions and issues. Blackstone was a nice touch. Previous guests didn’t clean it well so I was careful to give it a good cleaning and left it better than I found it. Highly recommended location in a very family friendly location like ocean lakes. So many things for the kids to do from the water park to the beach.

Family Vacation

Our stay was very nice. The house was very close to the beach access which was wonderful for 5 small kids!The house was great for what we needed. The outside shower and hoses were very useful for after the beach. There was plenty of space for us to eat. The porch was very nice and had a great view of the beach. There were a few issues we had though. The ice maker did not make ice so we had to go buy ice several times. The door knob kept falling off from the inside of the master bedroom. The Blackstone was very rusty and we felt not usable. We had to change plans for food because we were relying on using the grill. Other than those few issues, the house was very nice.

Awesome place

My family and I had a great trip and stay here. Beautiful house. Great location. Awesome views. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back to this house once again. Very modern and clean. Great setup inside. Love Ocean Lakes Campground.

The location was perfect, but the house was not very clean (due to cleaners, not the owners). The owners were very quick to respond to the few issues we had.

Great spot!

This house is in the best location in Ocean Lakes! We had young kids with us and I loved that this was a quiet low-traffic street within the park. Cannot beat the proximity to the beach, just steps away, and we could easily walk (even with little legs on our 2 year old) to one of the playgrounds, the bball courts, the daily food truck, etc. The house was spacious and we really enjoyed the double level balconies. We had several questions during our stay which were answered by the hosts within minutes at most. Overall we had a great experience here!

Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the property! Easy walk to the beach! Low traffic road so kids could play and ride bikes. Very clean! We had everything we needed! Melissa was awesome to work with!

My family said this was there favorite beach house. For my self it needs one more full bathroom but other than that it’s nice place to stay and the close walk to the beach was great.

Nice location to beach

Overall the stay was great, the closeness to the beach was convenient and the house met our needs. Most of the fan remotes did not work or outside lighting; there was a nail sticking up on the steps and loose boards on the deck. The toilet in the primary bedroom barely flushes, lights were out in the vanity and could have used some more attention to cleanliness (dead bugs and garbage that didn't make it into the trash laying on floor). While these are minor inconveniences we still enjoyed our stay, it could just use a little attention.

Awesome location!

This house was the second house from the beach access path. Very convenient to go back and forth. Deck was very comfortable and had a great view of the beach. Ocean lakes is a fun place and the nightly golf cart cruise is unique! Highly recommend

Great location in need to cleaning

Pros: Location was perfect Amenities were good Decorating was tasteful Had tons of living space and bedroom sizes were great Cons: The bedroom linens were in need of change, stained and ripped on some No mattress protectors (we always check for bed bugs) only mattress topper (in all bedrooms) . Master bedroom mattress is stained, hair on mattress and topper along with the bedroom pillow cases. No bugs on mattress but tons of other foreign particles on the mattress and topper. Mattress topper is ripped all alongside the bed. Upstairs mattress topper had two large white crusty stains on it (very disappointing). The topper hadn’t been washed as the stains were crusty. Hair on the actual mattress and bedroom pillows. Air filters and vents were filthy. The location was nice but due to the lack of cleanliness in bedding it wouldn’t be our first pick when we go back. We’ve stayed at OL over a dozen of times and was wanting to try another home, which was this one. If the bedding was corrected we would stay here again.

Really cute house

We came with a women’s group for a fun little getaway. The house was described pretty accurately. 2nd house from the beach. Beach access was directly across from house. Super convenient. We all really enjoyed sitting upstairs on the deck for morning coffee and evening cocktails while looking at the beach. Pros: plenty of room for larger groups. Lots of seating and beds throughout the inside and outside of house. A/C would freeze you out. Kitchen was stocked with every thing you should need. Con’s: the house needs a deep cleaning. There was dust on surfaces, sand in showers and cobwebs on light fixtures. Also, the mattress on the king size bed needs to be replaced as it was sunken in the middle badly and the two people that slept in that bed would roll into the middle then have difficulty getting off the bed.

Great Weekend Trip

Perfect Views

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this home! I was a little worried after reading some of the most recent reviews about bugs and dust, but all was fine upon arrival. We did have some palmetto bugs, but they were dead, and that’s unavoidable when you live on the cost of S.C. The beds were comfortable and the linens provided were soft as well. The refrigerator was clean, and had amble space for groceries for a family of 5. The house could use a good dusting, but it wasn’t dirty. The only suggestion I can offer the owners is that the unit is in need of bowls, coffee cups and maybe one new medium sized pot. Other than that the stay was amazing! We spent most of our time on the deck soaking up the view and the sunshine. The walk to the beach was maybe 1 minute long! Such a great location!! Would definitely stay again!
