Gorgeous sunsets, private dock, beach just across the street and plenty of room for everyone!!! Nature lovers, fishing folks and sunset fans will love this Broadkill Beach retreat! Awesome views abound - front deck has bay views, rear deck features plenty of seating for those amazing sunsets over the wildlife refuge. Sunset deck in rear yard leads to a dock behind the house for kayakers, fishing and crabbing, or just sitting watching the creek go by with a good book. Beach access and bay just across the street for the best of both worlds. Upper level loft provides another living space to enjoy some quiet time -- complete with sofa, powder room, bedroom with queen bed, and adjacent kid's room with lego table. Great outdoor shower. Just minutes to quaint Milton with supermarket and dining, and Lewes/Rehoboth Beach with its fine dining, boardwalk and outlet shopping. House sleeps 8, but up to 10 guests allowed for extra fee. Bring your dogs up to 75 lbs with pet fee. Sheets and towels not provided - please bring your own along with your food/play items!

We are returning renters and we can’t say enough good things about this place. It is great for kids walk to the beach and we could have a dog. The views from the back porch for morning coffee and evening sunset is just so relaxing. The house is spacious and held all of our multigenerational families.

Wonderful Broadkill House

We've stayed in Broadkill 3 times, and this was by far our favorite place. Clean and well taken care of, plenty of sleeping space, beautiful view, close to the beach and great books on the shelf! Renter was also very communicative and helpful.

This vacation house is in a great location—there’s a waterway in the back and the beach is just across the street. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our group. While the property could use some updates, particularly with the windows (many didn’t stay open and some screens had holes), it didn’t take away from our overall experience. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely rent again.

We have been visiting Broadkill Beach every summer for over 10 years. This was our first time staying on the bay side. We were nervous about the walk with kiddos (ages 4, 6, 8, and 9) but it was exactly 200 steps to the beach, super doable for all ages. The location was near a row of rocks that "trapped" some wildlife at low tide and the kids had a blast exploring. The bay gave us gorgeous views and evening sun on the porch. Watching the occasional storm come over the bay was just as relaxing as the ocean side. House was exactly as pictured, clean, and the owner was super responsive when we had questions. We will absolutely be back!

Our first time visiting Broadkill beach. The house was lovely, well kept and well stocked. Amazing views of the wildlife refuge and sunsets. This home is exactly as listed. It is clean, well laid out, nicely decorated, and is in a great location. We loved that it was right across the street from the beach. It also has gorgeous views off of the back porch overlooking the nature preserve. The sunsets are amazing and it is great for relaxing and bird watching. The owner was also an excellent host. Bring your kayak or canoe the house's private dock and take a paddle in Deep Hole Creek which leads to the Broadkill River. Or enjoy the beach with convenient beach access just across the street.
