Nice place in a nice location

Located just a block away from the Bay side of AMI and not far from the Gulf side. The apartment was very bright with sunlights and AC was good. Bed was comfortable despite recent reviews. Clean and easy booking! Only slight issue was that one of the washing machines doesn’t drain/rinse clothing which resulted me needing to rewash them but that wasn’t a big issue.

My first solo vacay….

Cute and hip little place, very clean (other than the infestation of fruit flies), easy to get to, close to everything. This unit is near the Bay side so a short drive to all of the beaches. Stayed alone and felt completely safe, except for the two way door in the bathroom that shook every time someone above me shut their door. Surrounding vacationers were polite and regulars were super helpful. My parking spot (#17) was definitely furthest from my rental and I know which numbers to rent during future stays. No one is actually on site but had zero issues. Rental has a small “older” odor but air freshener knocked it right out. Very private. Will definitely stay again.

Would not stay here again

We stayed here for 3 nights and would not stay here again. There's cups all around the unit from pest control saying "poison do not drink". Kind of scary if you have kids. Walls are extremely thin so the first night we listen to a bunch of drunk females and the unit on top of us was walking around and talking loudly til 2am. The other 2 nights the unit above us (which I think may be for the cleaners) was slamming doors and moving around things til midnight then again at 5am. Miserable 3 nights staying there. Others may have had a great experience but we didn't.

Great space, but heavy mildew smell

The space was very cute and decorated great. It was very clean and the little we did speak with maintenance or management they were nice. However, when entering there is a strong smell of mildew at least in our space #17. I let the team know and they told me it was ocean breeze, but it was definitely mildew. I would only stay again, if they could figure that out.

I really enjoyed the little cozy beach house and the way it was laid out . 5 min walk to the water. Restaurant and some small shops and ice cream shop also right there. I stayed in 17 and I thought it was great ! Would definitely come here again . Thank you!

We loved our stay

This is our second stay at Sunrise Gardens, but first in #17. We loved it and found it to be spacious. The decorative style is very beachy retro and love it. The staff was always attentive, like when we were locked out once on accident and they came by immediately, and the unit was perfectly clean. Quick easy bike ride to the beach every day. We put my two littler children's sleeping cots in the walk in closet and it worked perfectly. There are a few weird things - the damp rids in each closet were completely full. They would have benefited from being switched out more frequently. The floors are pretty loud upstairs - but you only hear the noises in the very middle of the unit over the closet and hallway, and some of the kitchen. Overall, these are minor things and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a great time! (And shout out to Matt, who unlocked our door for us, super nice guy)

everything was great at this property ! very clean , shower was a nice size , bedroom was pretty decent , had all amenities. one downfall though was the wifi. since we didn’t have any cell service we had to rely on their wifi which was provided , but it didn’t work. it only worked along the wall of the living room , we couldn’t even make any calls or search anything on the internet. we called and they said they’d send someone out and they never did also the pull out bed broke when we were sleeping on it but other than that it was great
