Meet your home base for your next Isle of Palms getaway! This massive home boasts an amazing location right near the Wild Dunes Resort Gate and is just 200 yards from the surf and sand, making this an attractive property for all types of vacationers - avid golfers and beach lovers! Offering up an impressive 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this home is the ultimate retreat for big extended family vacations and/or large trips with friends.
Pull up to the home and you'll first notice the ample parking space including a large garage, which is a must-have for a home of this size! Here you'll also find a convenient outdoor shower, made for rinsing off after a visit to the beach, saving you lines at the public rinse areas while also ensuring that the sand won't be brought inside! From here you can journey up to the main level, which also offers a separate entrance at the back patio.
Step onto the main floor, where one space flows into the next. You'll find a sitting area with lots of bright windows, as well as a generously sized dining table with extra chairs. This space leads out to the patio which offers handsome outdoor furniture and a BBQ gas grill.
Back inside, the fully equipped kitchen has been beautifully updated with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances. You will find many options for cooking your own meals - from snacks to big family dinners. An island seats up to four, and from here the space connects to the living room, furnished with cushy couches, classy décor, and a flat-screen TV.
With seven bedrooms, this property is made for festive vacations with your family and friends, offering plenty of sleeping accommodations. On the main level, you'll find four bedrooms—the 1st bedroom with two queen beds, TV, and a private bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and private bath. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and 4th bedroom has two twin beds. These two bedroom share a hall bath.
On the upper level you'll find the 5th bedroom with a bunk bed and a twin bed, and the 6th bedroom offers up a queen-sized bed, TV and private bath. The 7th bedroom, the master bedroom, is the prize of the property with a king-sized bed, large bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower, and a private balcony where you can relish the ocean air while reading a good book.
For your added convenience, this property has a washer and dryer, regular coffee maker, free high speed internet, and cable. With so much space, an excellent location, and an upscale design, this property is the perfect home for your big trip to Isle of Palms, whether it's a summer vacation or quick weekend getaway!
*Please note: Fireplace is not a "working" fireplace. The flue is closed, please do not use.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 7 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $1000 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.
This property also includes a $250 credit to order beach gear when you book a stay between 3 and 14 nights!! There are many options to choose from including bicycles, beach chairs, beach carts/wagons, coolers, umbrellas, kayaks, paddleboards, etc.! Our partnered company, VayK Gear, will contact you 45 days prior to your arrival so you can place your order and they will deliver all equipment to your rental property. ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, shampoo, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.

We had a group of Navy Submariners and their spouses, get together for reunion of friends apart for decades. The house was very nice and located in a very scenic and quiet neighborhood. It has very convenient access to the beach just a short walk away. Check in and out was quite easy. I would highly recommend.

This home is beautiful and has a wonderful layout. We had 17 people and we could all fit around the dining table, and there were tons of large pots and pans and silverware and plates etc. Most of the bedrooms had bathrooms en suite, which was really nice. We will definitely be back!

We hope you were able to fully experience the 'Low Country', with the beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, and, natural history wonders. Rain or shine, there are always new places to explore.
I had actually been at the house just prior to your visit to complete some minor repairs. I'm so glad the housekeeping team assured the house was clean, neat and presentable for you. Carroll Realty makes sure their guests have a spectacular, problem-free experience.

The home is in a great location to the beach and other things in Isle of Palms. The house needs updating. The beds were like rocks. Buying bed toppers for each would make it so much better. Because of that we likely would not stay here again.

GREAT NEWS! The owner of 2-54th has replaced ALL of the mattresses throughout the home this week (except for the bunk beds as they were fairly new). The owner selected premium mattresses which are very comfortable for all guests staying in the future. Thank you for sharing your experience. We hope you will consider returning to 2-54th Ave, again!
This beautiful house was large enough & had sufficient sleeping arrangements to accommodate our family of 9 adults & 7 children, and provided enough baths for "bath-time" for all those littles as well.
Location is good, one block to the boardwalk to the beach, and a 10-15 min walk to the pool accessible to renters. Real estate agency was attentive to my complaint about the "chirping" of an expired battery on a security device & fixed it the next day.
Two problems, though, the dishwasher didn't work, and the gas grill had not been cleaned, resulting in a small grease fire.
Otherwise the house, location management were all outstanding.

Thank you for the comments! I wanted to let future guests know that we have replaced the dishwasher with a new one, and have addressed the grill issue so that our inspector may keep a better eye on this so this will not happen again! We do ask guests to clean the grill after each use so that these issues can be minimized, but will also make sure our inspector checks the grease trap each time between rentals! We're so glad that overall your stay was fabulous and we hope to have you back again soon!
My family (15 of us) stayed at this beautiful Property walking distance from the beach. House was clean, easy to check in and out. We all had a great time and can't wait to do it again.

This house was perfect for our large family and an easy walk to the beach. We loved it. The AC went out the first night we were there and the AC man was there within two hours after we reported it. On a holiday weekend, no less.
Everything about the house was perfect, with 2 exceptions. First, all the beds are extremely hard and in need of memory foam toppers at a minimum. Second, and this is not the owners issue, just a warning for other extended families…because we had toddlers in our party and there are open design steps, we had to bring a play yard to open up and use as a safety barrier around the steps entrance. And we needed a gate for the other stairs, as well.
First time to Isle of Palms and really enjoyed it. The house was very very nice. Bedrooms were roomy. The beach was a short walk. We were unable to use the Wild Dunes amenities such as pools.
Property was very nice and convenient to the beach. Accommodations were nice. The issue experienced were: 1) door lock did not work but repaired second day, 2) ice machine was very slow and we purchased bags of ice during stay, 3) coffee pot didn’t work, 4) toaster worked first day but not after that, 5) fan in living room needed adjusting and repair man gave instructions, 6) drawer in kitchen was repaired during stay as it was off hinges, 7) vacuum cleaner inoperable, 8) needed additional light bulbs
Fantastic stay, said it slept 22 and everyone had a bed. Perfect white sand beach (not crowded on Memorial Day week!) and awesome clay tennis courts. We will definitely be repeat customers.

We had an excellent stay! The home was very spacious and easily accommodated 13 people very comfortably. The location was great too. Walking distance to the beach and also to Wild Dunes. I highly recommend this rental if you have a large party.
We had a blast on our family vacation, the house was the perfect size to fit everyone and the kitchen and common areas were great for spending time all together.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
