Charming 2 bedroom home located on a quiet Cul de Sac that's just steps to beautiful Good Harbor Beach. Completely renovated in 2017 with new Quartz counters, SS gas stove, dishwasher & fridge and Washer & dryer in unit. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, pots & pans & just about everything you will need for a vacation away. Seating for 6 plus a breakfast bar that seats 2. High ceilings and fans with a coastal feel throughout. 1st bedroom has a queen bed and large armoire. 2nd bedroom has a full size trundle bed with a twin size pull out and a large closet. The bath has tiled shower, marble vanity & washer/dryer for your use. There is a portable A/C, window A/C and fans to cool you off but there is always a nice ocean breeze. Outside there's a patio with dining table for 6 & gas grill that's great for al fresco dining as well as an outdoor shower with hot & cold water to rinse you off after a day at the beach. There's 2 off street tandem parking spots. Gloucester has so much to do and see whether it be deep sea fishing, Whale watching, surfing, boating, exploring the many trails & parks, swimming at world class beaches, fabulous restaurant's, artist gallery's, museums and shops and so much more.

Awesome house close to the beach

This house is the perfect location - close to the beach and downtown Gloucester. Nice, quiet area and the house is clean and very cute. Dawn was super nice and we would definitely stay here again!

Definitely recommend!

Very clean when we arrived! Excellent location - close to everything but very quiet. We travelled with my 85 year old mother so single floor living was a plus! The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and the beach chairs and umbrella were appreciated.

House was easy to find. The walk to the beach is 0.5 mile, easy stroll via sidewalks. The house was clean and fully stocked with the essentials. Kitchen is well equipped. Wash and dryer works great. Hot water is plenty. Cozy patio on the side of the house. Our only recommendation would be for black out curtains in the spare bedroom. There is a widow right behind the spare bedroom window. Every time someone walks into that room, which happened all through the night, the light would shine into the bedroom

Our experience was beyond exceptional. The property was clean, comfortable, and exquisitely decorated. We felt like we were enjoying time at our own home because the atmosphere of the house was so inviting. The owner, Dawn, is absolutely wonderful. Not only was she exceptionally kind and accommodating, she helped us plan our day trip to Salem and even recommended a great place for dinner in Gloucester. We'll be renting from Dawn for the foreseeable future.

We had an amazing end of summer vacation at this adorable house. The proximity to Good Harbour Beach is awesome. It’s a 2 minute drive or about 10 minute walk. You can drop off your friends/family at the foot bridge and walk back to drop off the car and then meet everyone at the beach…an easy walk. The house is adorable inside and out and it had everything for the beach, beach buggy, chairs and towels. AND the awesome outside shower can’t be beat. it was lovely to sit outside with our cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Our host was marvelous and very responsive to all my questions. She happened to be around and we met her. She went out of her way to even drive us to the beach one day. The kitchen is well equipped which is amazing. It’s a very comfortable home for 4 friends or small family. It has a queen size bed in larger BR and a full with trundle in the 2nd BR. The 4 of us shared the lovely bathroom, the dining room sits 6 people at the table and 2 more seats at the counter. The living room is large but cozy with a large tv and plenty of room for some game playing. Dawn did a great job remodeling and decorating the house. You can’t go wrong with this house and it’s so private in a cul-de-sac. Looking forward to our next stay.

I've been an ocean lover my whole life and finally made my move to the "edge" in 2016 when my 2 children finished college and had moved on. I loved Gloucester the minute I arrived and decided to buy a house here almost immediately and found this one here behind Good Harbor beach. I completely renovated it in 2017 and just added on another unit in 2021 where I live. I love to travel and get away when I can. I have been working full time as a Real estate advisor for the past 20 years so if you fall in love with the North Shore while visiting I would love to help you find your new dream home.

Why they chose this property

I chose this location because I can walk to my favorite beach, Good Harbor. I also love that it is on a cul de sac so it's a very quiet and relaxing place to hang out.

Location Location Location...along with a new custom outdoor surfboard shower with hot & cold water. Walking distance to Good Harbor & Long beach in Rockport as well as 2 shopping centers, Cape Ann coffee & Charlies diner all within 10 minutes. Morning walks to Bass Rocks where you will see the most amazing sunrises, moon rises and gorgeous ocean front homes anywhere.
