The best VRBO Stay Ever

We have stayed at a number of places over the years, but hands down this was the best stay we have ever had. We were in Austin for a month and wanted a place with a pool that would feel like home. We fell in love with the house snd the location. What an amazing property. Huge area fir kids to play inside and outside. The owners were supper friendly as too was Gary that looked after any of our needs. I also appreciate being able to leverage the cleaner the owners used. Lucy was a dream, well organized and my girls gave her a big hug when we left. Thanks Camille, Adam, Gary, snd Lucy for the best month away we have ever had.

This is our primary residence, and we have poured so much love into creating a truly special house that feels like a getaway from the outside world. I've decorated every element of the house personally, with a goal of making it cozy, uncluttered, and incredibly welcoming for family and friends. Our family is spending the summer in California, and we're looking for just one or two renters to occupy our home during that time. It's a great opportunity for someone who may be looking to make a move to Austin and wants to test out the waters as a "local" for a month or two! :)

Why they chose this property

The expansive lake and downtown views make you feel as though you've escaped the city to your own tranquil getaway - even though you're a 10 minute drive from downtown and Austin's incredible dining scene. The open floor plan, professional-grade kitchen, beautiful pool and covered terrace, and huge backyard with firepit are made for summertime enjoyment.
