About this property

Cozy Adirondack log cabin in the woods of Ausable Acres. New 7 person hot tub and air conditioning added in 2024. This is a perfect vacation getaway for families and people looking for peace and quiet.

We are 15 minutes to Whiteface Mountain, 30 minutes to Lake Placid, and a 5 minute walk to Lake Eaton. There are plenty of activities in the area including nearby skiing, hiking trails, fishing, golf, kayaking and biking.
Tops grocery store is only a 5 minute drive.

Great getaway with two large TVs w/Roku connected (DirecTV with HBO and Disney+ included), high speed wifi, downstairs game room, fire pit, charcoal and gas grills. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath that could accommodate 6-8. Complete with a loft office if unable to get away from work and a newly added Yoga studio. We can set you up with a private Yoga and Reiki instructor during your stay at an additional cost.

Quiet time in the acres begins at 10pm for outdoor spaces (this is a community rule).

Amazing home! Highly recommended!

We immensely enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you could possibly want and is extremely comfortable and beautiful. Communication with the owner and property manager was incredibly speedy, and check-in was a breeze. The home is so relaxing. Highly recommended!

Great place with great location.

Very nice place with everything we needed for our stay , great location close to our points of interest (winter activities)would love to come back in spring/summer. Very cozy and clean. We highly recommend this place for others !

Great get away

The house was very charming. It was also immaculate with everything we needed: linens, towels, kitchen stuff, etc. We had a really nice post-holiday vacation despite some poor weather. Owner was available and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Our cabin is decorated with outdoor Adirondack themes of fishing, skiing, and bears. All furnishings and accessories are updated and new.

Why they chose this property

We love the Adirondacks. When you come to visit you're greeted by our bear mascot Baloo.

This is our getaway home because we love the area. There is so much to do regardless of what you like. Fishing areas are nearby, along with hiking trails, canoeing, skiing, and just enjoying the nature. The neighborhood is very tranquil and relaxing.

What makes this property unique

Our home is a very unique log cabin style home with plenty of space to yourself with 3 deck/patio areas on the front and back of the house. It is perfect for a family getaway. We have plenty of amenities to make this feel like home including an expansive fire pit, salt water hot tub (seating 7 people) basic cable, high speed internet, and two office spaces if there needs to be work while away.

All the furniture is NEW and added December 2020 and January 2021. Each floor has a bathroom for convenience and we are still adding to the property to make it even better.
