About Paul and Gail Teveliet

My husband and I are recently retired and enjoy an active lifesyle that include racing our sailboat, skiing, hiking, traveling, and beach time. We were born and raised in the Portland area. Went to Franklin and Milwaukie High Schools. This home was built by Paul and his brother when he was in his mid twenties to be very strong to stand up to the coastal storms and it has survived many with no damage.

Why Paul and Gail Teveliet chose Lincoln Beach

close to a local airport. Located between Newport and Lincoln City. With a panoramic view up and down the coast for many beautiful sunsets. No traffic going by or noisy people. We are located at the end of a cult de sac overlooking the ocean. We built the home to live full time but plans changed so we decided to let others enjoy it also. We appreciate it being taken care of which makes it possible to keep the cost down.

What makes this house unique

This property he built on was because of the incredible view

You cannot beat the view!

  • 4 of 5

We were 4 women who spent 4 nights at this rental. The location is fantastic. You see the ocean from the living room and main deck. Very peaceful; the reason you come to the coast.

The wifi is spotty and pathway to and from the water is difficult. The day we left, I realized they had walking sticks in the garage.

None of us noticed them during our stay even though the

owner suggested using some for beach access. It would

be helpful to have a note pointing out that they are

available to renters.

During our stay I was able to reach the homeowner pretty easily.

We had a great time! Thank you!

Super ocean view

  • 5 of 5

This is where to stay if you like a quiet neighborhood and super ocean views. The home has everything you need and the owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is trouble free. We saw whales from the deck and the beach is a short walk away. This beach is not crowded and everyone enjoyed the agate hunting. We already have plans to stay here again.

Fabulous Home!

  • 5 of 5

The home is situated in a beautiful location with fantastic views. The kitchen is well appointed and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Centrally located within easy driving to outdoor recreation and other beach towns. We slept like babes to the pounding of the surf. We hiked Drift Creek falls ( dont miss this!) , Hiked up Cascade Head ( do this one too!) and we kayaked on the Siletz river for 3.5 hours and were the only people on the water. We came for the eclipse, which was awesome, but the region has so much to offer! We made 2 trips to the Glass Art Studio to make our own glass pieces, went to Depoe Bay and whale watched, worked 2 1000 piece puzzles, shopped the outlets, and had some great dinners at Kyllos and McMinamens. Paul and Gail were so helpful when we got there and checked in with us to be sure everything was ok. There are lots of puzzles, games, and books for quiet time or get to the beach for a long beach walk. I hope we can return soon.

Fantastic view at an affordable price!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay here. We were a group of 8 adults (19-56) and 2 children (2-5). The home was clean and exactly as pictured, older and dated but in good condition overall. It smelled a little musty when we first arrived but aired out quickly. The kitchen was in good condition and well stocked with dishes and pans. The appliances are all new. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean but dated. The door on the main bath wouldn't latch unless you lifted up on the handle. The routes to the beach would be difficult if not impossible for an elderly person (even the "easier" route would be difficult) but was fine for our group. The view was fantastic and we saw whales everyday of our late July stay. It was just what we were looking for at a price we could afford. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.
