About Paul and Gail Teveliet
My husband and I are recently retired and enjoy an active lifesyle that include racing our sailboat, skiing, hiking, traveling, and beach time. We were born and raised in the Portland area. Went to Franklin and Milwaukie High Schools. This home was built by Paul and his brother when he was in his mid twenties to be very strong to stand up to the coastal storms and it has survived many with no damage.
Why Paul and Gail Teveliet chose Depoe Bay
close to a local airport. Located between Newport and Lincoln City. With a panoramic view up and down the coast for many beautiful sunsets. No traffic going by or noisy people. We are located at the end of a cult de sac overlooking the ocean. We built the home to live full time but plans changed so we decided to let others enjoy it also. We appreciate it being taken care of which makes it possible to keep the cost down.
What makes this House unique
This property he built on was because of the incredible view

Wonderful stay with our family for Christmas!
We truly enjoyed our stay in this great home. The view is great and it is very close to the beach. We had everything we needed and Paul and Gail were wonderful to work with. They graciously extended our time on both ends of our trip! We stayed three days with our daughters and our 4 grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all of our meals and fun. I am sure we will be back. Thanks again for letting us stay in your wonderful home!
Clean house, amazing view and lots of room.
We had a great time and the kids had plenty of room to move around in. Really enjoyed the view and easy access to the beach.
Big beautiful house, amazing place! Great views!
This is the second time I've stayed at this house. The first time was with my family of six and this last time was with a group of friends. It was the perfect house for both groups. It has been lovingly cared for and has tons of room. Beach access is easy and convenient. Can't wait to stay there again!
You cannot beat the view!
We were 4 women who spent 4 nights at this rental. The location is fantastic. You see the ocean from the living room and main deck. Very peaceful; the reason you come to the coast.
The wifi is spotty and pathway to and from the water is difficult. The day we left, I realized they had walking sticks in the garage.
None of us noticed them during our stay even though the
owner suggested using some for beach access. It would
be helpful to have a note pointing out that they are
available to renters.
During our stay I was able to reach the homeowner pretty easily.
We had a great time! Thank you!
Super ocean view
This is where to stay if you like a quiet neighborhood and super ocean views. The home has everything you need and the owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is trouble free. We saw whales from the deck and the beach is a short walk away. This beach is not crowded and everyone enjoyed the agate hunting. We already have plans to stay here again.
The home is situated in a beautiful location with fantastic views. The kitchen is well appointed and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. Centrally located within easy driving to outdoor recreation and other beach towns. We slept like babes to the pounding of the surf. We hiked Drift Creek falls ( dont miss this!) , Hiked up Cascade Head ( do this one too!) and we kayaked on the Siletz river for 3.5 hours and were the only people on the water. We came for the eclipse, which was awesome, but the region has so much to offer! We made 2 trips to the Glass Art Studio to make our own glass pieces, went to Depoe Bay and whale watched, worked 2 1000 piece puzzles, shopped the outlets, and had some great dinners at Kyllos and McMinamens. Paul and Gail were so helpful when we got there and checked in with us to be sure everything was ok. There are lots of puzzles, games, and books for quiet time or get to the beach for a long beach walk. I hope we can return soon.
