The cabin was amazing. Right on a quiet, private lake. The kids could wake up and run right off the dock to swim😀. It felt like we were in our own secluded part of the lake and the owner had thought of everything. There was a paddle board, paddle boat, and kayaks for us to use, as well as two fire pit areas to hang out by at night. The cabin was definitely designed around using outdoor space 😀
What a beautiful cabin and property. The owners made every effort to try to foresee what a renter would need/want. The outside sitting areas were awesome. Three firepits to enjoy every location. The outside bathroom made it feel a little like glamping but a small price to pay to enjoy such beauty. The loft bedroom had a view to die for. The ladder to get to the loft was a little rough for a 73 yr old, but worth it! My grandson was in 7th heaven using the kayak and paddleboat. The owners thought of everything. Best vacation I have had in a long time.
Everything was lovely. I missed the part about the outdoor shower & bathroom so that's on me. If indoor bathroom accommodations are your thing then maybe I wouldn't recommend this VRBO but everything else being wonderful - to include great communication with the host - made it a fun and memorable weekend. No regrets!
This place was our own little oasis...very tranquil, but enough action on the lake from 11am to 3pm to make it a good mix of fun & serenity! Awesome sound system pumped outdoors while you're at the fire, on the lake, enjoying coffee at your little man-made lagoon. Communication with the owner was quick & super professional & courteous!
The hosts have put a lot of thought into the decor of the cabin. Inside and out. Outside music and lighting. Beautiful dock. Lots of water toys. Kayaks paddle boat. The road is very narrow for a large boat and trailer with no where to turn around, so that was a issue for us. A kind neighbor helped us out. I would highly recommend this cabin to future guests!!!
Loved it! The location is absolute perfection. The cabin is beautiful and well-equipped as is the outdoor grill and eating area. Plenty or room to lounge. Deck is great and easily accessible--we had paddle boards and a military-trained German Shep who loved his stay there as well. I was a bit apprehensive about the outdoor shower, but it was great. No problems with getting hot water. I would advise people wiht bad knees that they might not like the stair decent but it's maintained perfectly and had no issues at all ... LOVED that the lake gets quite in the late afternoons. Didn't catch any fish but did a lot of SUP and just enjoying the sunshine. I would advise people that the grocery store in town DOES NOT take VISA ... just as an FYI : ) Hoping to come back and stay again this fall. Amazing place.
