Super Comfy and modern with the extras!

2 bedroom, 2 bathroom large house with game room, tall ceilings, lots of entertaining space and great dock. Comfy couch, porch chairs, outside furniture, and new beds! Bring just the two of you or bring the family and have a great space to hang out together or separately! Game room has a pull out couch and ping pong to keeps the kids or adults entertained. TV’s and fast internet in every room, living room has an 86” tv with Roku and Apple TV for movie night, or just go enjoy the back area and listen to the water or look for the resident manatee! Awesome dock for boating with a fish table, hose, and electric. Nice and deep! Around the corner is right out to the ocean. There is a large seating area underneath in the shade or Adirondack chairs to sit around and talk about the fish that got away… the living room is perfect for movie night and the porch is the perfect spot for your coffee in the morning or favorite drink at night! And the kitchen is large for those that like to cook!
Max of 6 people and boat total must be under 30ft…
Due to severe allergies, our house is a pet free zone and a NON SMOKING HOUSE. Any animals or friends with any kind of pet will really impact our health and safety. Any smoking will also impact our safety and require professional cleaning…Please help us prevent that. Cleaning up after an accidental occurrence will be super expensive and we are trying to avoid this all together.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Lock the doors and return the keys
Please make sure all fridges/freezers are cleaned and emptied. Please make sure grill is cleaned and covered. Trash should be out on trash day. All furniture outside covered and back in original spots
Please lock up and return keys to lock box. Please make sure all doors are locked.
Please make sure all bed sheets and towels are on beds and towels on bath floors in a pile.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Boat length is maximum of 30ft total with engines, anchors, pulpits etc… No charging of electric vehicles (500$ charge for breaking this rule)
Due to severe allergies this is a no ANIMAL and no SMOKING property. Extra 1500$ fee will be charged for violating this.
Key Colony Beach has a strict person per property rule. Breaking the max occupancy will require extra penalty charges. It will jeopardize our license.

Great place with dock for a 24' boat. Extra bonus is the use of the pool nextdoor at the beach club. Good food and drinks served at the pool .

Enjoyed our stay!

Clean, spacious condo in a great location. Key Colony is a beautiful, quiet, safe community. Access to Glunz was a nice perk. Host was very receptive to questions and offered good advice on local food/attractions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again!

Beach vacation

We absolutely loved our stay!! The house was very clean and well stocked for all our needs. The beds were extremely comfortable.The location was perfect and near everything. The host checked in throughout and was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Great for boating

House was plenty big for 5 people, right on a nice canal for boating access to the ocean, game room was a nice touch. And the pool passes to Glunz was excellent also when the wind was blowing a bit too hard to go fishing.

2 weeks in paradise!

We loved our stay at Blue Serenity in Key Colony Beach. The location was great, and the house was clean and well maintained. The Glunz Beach club passes made our stay even nicer! We would definately stay here again.

Amazing stay!

Very nice clean house! Dean is great with communication and try’s his best to make the stay as comfortable as possible! Place for your boat right out front on the canal so you don’t have to keep loading and unloading , great fishing location as well and a small beach across the road! There is also a game room with a ping pong table that’s always fun! This was our second time staying a week!

Very clean ,nice host ,easy check in ,and great place for a boat we had a large pontoon an trailer and there was plenty of room and easy to get in and out of. Neighborhood was nice and a great destination overall. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful place

The pictures do not do the place justice. It is absolutely wonderful, one of the nicer places we’ve stayed at in Key Colony Beach. It’s very spacious, clean, very well equipped kitchen with a keurig, toaster oven, etc. It has also has a membership to the Glunz beach club which is across the street and has a nicer salt water pool than Cabana

My daughters, 25th birthday New Year's Eve, and graduation Day

The moment we stepped in the door, we knew it. It was a comfortable and cozy place. It was well appointed with everything you needed. Beds were very comfortable location awesome. Just an all-around beautiful place with highly recommend. Also the owner was extremely good at getting back to you with any answers you needed he was awesome. Will definitely stay there again in the future and thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

Wonderful Keys vacation

The rental was gorgeous with all new upgrades and furniture. Very nice location. We cooked very little but the kitchen had everything you need. Very easy to launch boat nearby and park trailer at house. Beach club was nice. We didn't use but walked over to check it out. Owner was very helpful with process and suggestions for places to eat. We would definitely rent again.

Wonderful property- as beautiful as the pictures! Our teens loved the game room!

The entire house was updated with stylish and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed and more. The bed mattresses were perfect with high end linens. Membership to the Cabana Club was a nice addition. The owner was very helpful and provided lots of information about the area and was extremely patient with all my questions. We had an awesome week and would like to come back soon🙂

This house has everything you need to cook a meal or grill. For the first time in years we were able to get a full nights rest every night!! All of the beds are comfortable as well as the living room furniture. The gameroom was also a nice treat. Outdooors has nice outdoor seating, fish cleaning table & bait freezer in the gameroom. We will be back we were not disappointed.

Great home away from home

We spent a month here and really enjoyed ourselves. Fully stocked kitchen and grill was nice because we like to hit the fish markets and cook at home. Plenty of close restaurants in walking distance too. The Glunz pool/beach/gym passes were awesome! Very nice to have a beach within minutes of the house. The beds were very comfortable! We loved sitting on the porch and the patio watching the action on the canal. One week there were a couple manatees hanging out in the canal right in front of the house! Would definitely return!

Key Colony gem

The location of this rental was perfect for us as golfing, biking, swimming, and walking is easily accessible. Pickleball, shuffleboard, and bocce ball is also available in Key Colony. Tons of restaurants and bars to choose from. Our guys fished every day off of the dock while I relaxed at the beach or read on the balcony of the rental. The beds are quite comfy and the kitchen is well supplied with everything one might need. The rental has a very homey feeling to it and is nicely decorated. Outside furniture is available with an umbrella and there is the option to dine outside. There is ample parking and it was especially nice to have our car under cover. The owner is very nice and personable and the Glunz membership was much appreciated!

KC gem

This KC house was very clean inside and I really appreciated that the furniture was not “well worn”. My favorite part about the rental was the balcony. I spent every night on it reading. The house was not on ground level and required climbing stairs. That was a positive in my opinion as our car could be parked out of the weather. I appreciated the lighting motion detectors outside. We had membership to Glunz which I liked better than the Cabana Club as it was not as crowded. Kudos to the owner, Dean! There was a situation in the neighborhood that was not his fault yet he made it right for us. We’ve rented in the area for 6 years now and this was my favorite rental. I hope to stay there again!

Great Stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in KCB. The rental is spacious and clean. Dean was easy to communicate with, and promptly replied to all my inquiries. Location is convenient to many area attractions and about one hour to Key West. We were able to see the neighborhood manatee as well! There were a few minor issues that I addressed with Dean. The top railing was loose, some broken glass under a chair, and the game room pullout was very difficult to get back into a couch. Dean responded quickly and was thankful for the feedback. Game room could use a good cleaning, but did not deter us from a decent ping pong game. For some reason the internet went out and the battery required charging. In order to do this, the breakers had to be completely shut off. I didn’t mind and turned everything off when we left and back on when we came back. There is a lot going on in this little area, lots of neighbors and landscaping noise. This did not deter us from enjoying, every morning and evening was spent overlooking the canal. Access to the pool and beach was lovely. We spent a lot of days by the pool! Thank you Dean for a wonderful stay!

Excellent trip

We had such a wonderful vacation with family! My husband and I brought our 4 y/o son and my parents. We had a blast going out catching fish. Then came home to a beautiful place with everything needed to cook up anything we caught! Plus each night we all slept so well because the beds are absolutely devine! The most comfortable beds ever! We had a few minor things that the owner helped with right away! So it’s not something we ever felt took away from the experience because he was so good! I was a little disappointed with their new cleaning crew but hopefully the kinks got worked out. Person left wet towels in the dryer that we found a few days later, there was hair in the bathroom. Just a few things that were quite up to par. But again it didn’t take away from our stay. We have added this house to the very few we are willing to stay at again and look forward to getting to come back and enjoy the house some more!

A very comfortable week in a lovely property

This rental worked out perfectly for us. The furnishings and decor are fresh, attractive, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. Huge TV with Roku and Apple TV options in main living space. Great little porch off the main living space with seating for two overlooking the canal, in addition to the larger seating area and lounge chairs outside right beside the canal. The grounds are well-maintained. Bathrooms are up to date. Plenty of towels for beach-going or sunning. Full size washer and dryer. The owner was very helpful and very available to answer questions via text and phone. The reason for 4/5 stars on cleanliness was an odor of shrimp in and around the fridge. You don't smell it when the a/c is running or the doors are open, but if place has been closed up, you smell it. Wonderful to have use of the beach club just a short walk away. (less than 5 minutes). Key Colony itself is great for walking. I highly recommend it.

Exceptional property!

We gave a five star review for this property for the following reasons: The owner, Dean McCartney, was very friendly, helpful, and accessible if we had questions. The furniture inside was perfect for us and our friends. All the furnishings appeared to be new. Plenty of space for relaxing and dining. We had a lot of rain the week we rented but there was enough space inside and out to hide from the weather. The kitchen was well-appointed and had every utensil we needed. There was ample dishware and glassware for our needs. There were even martini glasses for our use, a rare find. The counter in the kitchen was roomy and easy to clean. When the rain stopped we were able to sit dockside using the four Adirondack chairs and two lounge chairs. There was also a set of patio furniture that we did not use, but was available. In the garage area a table with chairs was provided, avoiding the rain. Mr. McCartney provided passes for beach access a couple of blocks away. We had access to both pools, hot tub and the beach at the Glunz Ocean Beach Hotel and Resort. We could order food and drinks from Havana Jack’s next door.

The Florida Keys have been the sanctuary I have been looking for. You can just sit back and relax a slow pace enjoying the quiet and wildlife or you can get out and do everything on the water!
I have fallen in love with the diving, snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and just about every water sport you can think of. I’m the guy that is in the water and looks like a prune. Hopefully you catch the vibe that I do when I’m down. It’s relaxing and exciting at the same time for me. I love movies so hence the BIG tv for family time, and I love to drink coffee on the porch and arch the wind slowly blow they the palm trees!

This is paradise to me. Amazing water, great places to eat with the kids or a romantic night with your partner…. It sums up everything about vacation for me!
