Welcome to Casa Mar Azul 3, an upscale and Luxurious 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath 1/2 Duplex New Home with a private Heated Pool right located in Key Colony Beach. Key Colony Beach is a tropical island paradise, located in the Heart of the Florida Keys, with swaying palm trees and tranquil blue/green waters that will wash away your stresses of every day life!

Our little piece of paradise rental includes the use of our private & exclusive 'Inch Beach,' Passes which includes a Beach on the Atlantic Ocean side with a fresh water shower, Tiki Hut and a grill to cook out on right at the beach. Our island offers three restaurants, marina (with boat charters and rentals), and activities of all types. Come, Relax and Enjoy the local culture, fresh seafood, tropical island sites and weather.

Key Colony Beach also offers a 9 hole PAR 3 golf course, tennis, bocce ball, boat rentals, diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, walking paths, basketball courts, and much more!

Enjoy your private 46 foot boat dock on a deep water, 100 foot wide canal, which has easy access and within a 2-4 minutes to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf Of Mexico (Florida Bay)! There is also a Keys Shuttle Service operating daily from Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Key West airports. If you don't want to rent a car, take the shuttle and our taxi services will take you anywhere on the island.

We are now in our 3rd generation of operating hotels in Fort Lauderdale and have expanded our business to Key Colony Beach where we operate 3 beautiful vacation rental homes, all are waterfront with docks and some with pools and all have beach access that are within walking distance.. Every one of our properties are award winning and truly 'World Class Accommodations' that are extremely clean and all new construction or totally renovated.

This property is top of the line. That tells and shows me the owner takes pride in the appearance and up keep of his rental. The location is perfect . Inch Beach,Sparky's Franks Grill and Cabana Club and so on... Beautiful property you won't be disappointed...

Excellent place to stay.

Great place and much better than the pictures. No issues accept the sliding door sticking. Put a little oil on it and got it working. The restaurant within walking distance was destroyed from the hurricane, but is being renovated now. Very clean and refreshing. I will probably book it again in the near future.

This is a wonderful vacation home. I brought my family and some friends down on vacation and we could not have found a better place. The dock is very nice and secure did not have to worry about the boat at all and the house is wonderfully cared for and has all the amenities required I would definitely recommend this rental home two other friends

Everything you could need and more

This was our second stay at Casa Mar Azul III and once again it didn't disappoint. This home has everything you need! It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is easy to book and John is timely and efficient in communicating all of the information you need for your stay. We've stayed on many of the Keys over the years but Key Colony is our favorite and the Casa Mar Azul properties can't be beat!

Great Place great location

Our recent stay at Casa mar Azul III was awesome. We stayed 10/21-10/28/17 post Irma. The original property we rented, was damaged by Irma so the property owner upgraded us to this unit with no questions prior to our arrival. The property is great. It’s Comfortable and has all you need for your Keys stay. The first night we arrived, we saw Manatees in the canal. I think that was my favorite part.

The restaurants and businesses that are open, are glad to see tourists back in town. We were able to walk to Inch Beach and enjoy the beach a few days. Inch Beach is absolutely beautiful. We also walked down to Sunset Park daily. We fished with Big Game Sports Fishing(Capt Ariel) out of the Keys Fisheries and had a blast. This was our second time going with Capt. Ariel and he is great. We frequented the following restaurants during our stay and would recommend any of them; Keys Fisheries, Lazy Days, Island Fish Company and the Key Colony Inn. Lazy Days and Key Colony inn did a fine job preparing our fresh catches. We also visited the Turtle Hospital and would recommend that as something to do while you are in town. We had an awesome time at Casa Mar Azul III and will be back to Marathon this time next year!!! John was a pleasure to rent from and very accommodating.

The area at this time is in recovery mode. We went on vacation with that in mind, so seeing the hurricane damage did not ruin our stay by any means. We found fun things to do, great food to eat, saw beautiful sunsets and thoroughly enjoyed our time away from home.

We are already planning another stay at this location!

We vacationed with a total of 8 people, a boat, and 3 larger vehicles, so finding a rental to suit everyone (and their budget) was a daunting task. Let it be known, that my family is extremely picky and "weird" about staying away from home, especially in a vacation rental versus a well-known hotel chain. This place ended up being absolutely perfect for all of us! (6 adults/2 children). It looked just like the pictures. The owners of this home were extremely helpful from the very beginning and were very responsive to all of my calls/emails. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see that there was plenty of room to park in the driveway (since all of our vehicles were too tall to fit in the HUGE two car garage). Just a tip: (nothing to do with the home itself) If bringing a boat, DO NOT waste your time using the ramp by the marina. It's closest to the home, but trust me for more reasons than one, take the time to go to another ramp. The boat trailer parking was right down the street from the home, and city hall (where you pay for trailer parking) was right across the street. Once we checked into the home, I was relieved to see how CLEAN the place truly was. The home has a very open layout with plenty of space, which was extremely nice when we were all inside together. Our most favorite part though was the back porch, which is where we spent 99% of our time. The pool is right next to the dock where we had parked the boat, saw an array of wildlife, and where we did a LOT of fishing! We caught and released an astonishing amount of fish on the dock, and I even caught an octopus! The pool was a huge lifesaver for the kids, and we all enjoyed it while cooking dinners on the grill. There is also a fish cleaning station and a hose on the dock, which was convenient when cleaning fish they had caught out on the boat. All in all, I cannot express how much we LOVED this place! It had everything we needed and then some. There was only ONE thing that was a little inconvenient (scary almost).There is a HUGE drop off/gap next to the patio table and chairs (between the PVC fence). Mostly because of the kids, we ended up removing the two chairs closest to the edge so no one would fall if the chair went over the edge. I don't even drink alcohol, and almost fell off of the patio and into the fence numerous times. I just wish the two patios connected, instead of having that huge gap. Regardless, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Perfect home and location! Thank you!

Come to our daily fish feeding at 4:00 pm. Sharks, rays, eels, tarpon,

snappers, groupers and many more species.


Located at MM 53 on the ocean side. This is always a great trip. For

$40 plus $5 for rod rental you will get a nice trip out to the reef

and almost always catch some nice fresh fish for dinner. The crew is

great and helpful.

As seen from the air, Marathon and the Middle Keys appear as emerald

isles set amid a sea of turquoise. Marathon's reefs offer great

variety in coral formations and fish life. The crystalline waters of

the Atlantic Ocean reveal a marine wilderness comprised of an

extensive spur-and-groove coral complex and numerous well-developed

patch reefs. Each reef is populated by a vast array of Caribbean

tropical fish and invertebrates, with the fascinating addition of both

modern and historical shipwrecks to complete the tremendous sport dive

appeal of the region.

WRECKS AND REEFS.............

* Adelaide Baker - This historic shipwreck features a pair of huge

stacks in only 25 feet of water, a vivid reminder of the days when

steamships plied the Florida Keys.

* Sombrero Reef - This traditional favorite of the Marathon dive

portfolio is marked by a 140-foot lighted tower. Coral canyons and

archways provide refuge for schools of grunt and snapper while

solitary barracuda appear to stand sentinel.

* Coffin's Patch - This is not a single reef but a conglomerate of six

distinct patch reefs, each with a unique identity defined by a

predominant coral species. For example, at Pillar Coral Patch dozens

of intact pillar coral heads thrust their fuzzy polyps to snare

passing nutrients. Snorkelers will especially appreciate the shallow

elkhorn forests found throughout Coffin's Patch in less than 20 feet

of water.

* Delta Shoals - Here a vast network of coral canyons fan seaward from

a sandy shoal, offering wonderful opportunities for both diving and

snorkeling amid elkhorn, brain, and star coral heads.

* The Thunderbolt - This 188-foot ship is the queen of the Marathon

wreck fleet. Sunk intentionally as a dive attraction on March 3, 1986,

she now sits perfectly upright in 115 feet of water. Her

superstructure is coated with colorful sponge, coral, and hydroid,

providing refuge and sustenance to large angelfish, jacks, and a

variety of deep-water pelagic creatures.
